Terminus Grand Opening (Casino) Started by: JoeKing on Jul 19, '17 00:58

JoeKing was excited to make the announcement to everyone. He had bought a casino! A new business in Las Vegas nobody had ventured to do before him for a long time. This was something he had put deep thought into for a while now, and after saving a little bit of money he finally had the chance to make his dream come true. None of this came cheap, or easy, the building itself had to be basically built from scratch since the other one before it was too old. After months of building, planning and getting other investors he finally managed to finish it.

"Beautiful"  He thought as he looked up to the sign in front of the brand new building.

As he opened the door, he was welcomed by none other than Tobias, who was the one who pushed for the idea in the first place.

"Welcome in man! Glad to see you here on our first day. I have a feeling this is gonna lead us to the ride of our lives"

"For fucking sure my man." JoeKing said as a beautiful blonde waitress approached him to ask if the gentlemen needed drinks.

Tobias turned to her: "A bottle of Jack Daniels please, and we will be sitting in that big ass table over there." As he pointed towards the VIP area on the second floor of the building.

"Right away sir" She said with a smile on her face.

Joe turned to him: "Ohh you dirty little fucker, you like her huh?"

"Shhhhh, you've seen nothin'!"

"Ha-ha yeah my ass. It's fine, I know she is your type I don't judge."

After having one too many drinks together, he gathered his thoughts and started planning how to spread the word about his new casino.

He sent invitations to everyone he knew and didn't know to come visit at least to check the place out, hoping they would. To his surprise, a huge crowd gathered the next night, and so he stepped up to make the announcement:

"Hey guys, some of you may or may not know me, after all I'm not very important in this thing of ours, but let me introduce myself, my name is JoeKing, and me and my partners have managed to build this entire building from scratch for all of you, now I know nobody likes to lose money gambling, and I don't want you to look at this place that way, instead I want you to look at it as a fun place to go hangout with friends. Hell I even have indoor pools installed in the back, restaurants, bar, aand what else do we have?" He said as he turned to Tobias hoping he would know. He stared back with a confused look, and the crowd burst into laugh. "See that's exactly what I mean!" Joe said as he turned back to the crowd. "I want this place to be a fun place so please, enjoy!"

After saying those words, JoeKing stepped down and started welcoming everyone in, handing out papers with a map of the building and showing people around.

May I just say, Tobias, I have no shame and am a cheapskate but you are a giant hunk of man and would momentarily debate becoming homosexual just for you...

Dubliner holds out his hand and grins.

Also, I can handle some extra work. I'll get in contact with you.

I have visited your fine establishment and deem it a grand place to play. Odds aren't terrible on the blackjack tables, and I'm working my way to your partner's offer, while I believe surpassing your requirement of 10 bets.

For anyone a bit skittish of the Terminus, I bid you to wash away your fears, come have a drink, throw down a few coins, and enjoy the lovely ladies, er, entertainment!

Lucy had only just arrived in Vegas and so she decided to take a walk around and check out the sights and sounds of Las Vegas.  It was hard not to lose herself in all the flashing lights and sounds.  Twice she'd had flyers thrust into her hands which promised secret shows that would have her blessed mother turning over in her grave.

A new casino, Terminus, was apparently having a grand opening.  Back home a grand opening of any business usually meant free items, maybe even food, and being that her pockets were incredibly light, she decided to go inside.

JoeKing had been speaking loudly to the crowd, but she'd only heard a few words of what the attractive and well-dressed man had been saying.  Terminus was a sight to behold!  Her green eyes were wide and her mouth gaped ever so slightly.  Chicago was amazing, but this place was like a palace.  Had there ever been so many lights in one building?  Mirrors, the floor shone like mirrors.  You could eat off of them, she was sure.

Digging deep into her pocket she made her way to a cashier and exchanged the loose bills and change in her pocket for a small cup of coins to be used in the slot machines.  Who knew, perhaps tonight was her lucky night?  After all, in her estimation she was a due for a good break.

She deposited two dollars in coins and pulled the handle on the one-armed bandit.  She watched the wheels spin and waited for the results.

Moving up behind LuckyLucy just as the slot machine starts to clang and spit out a jackpot after three lemons click to a stop on the roller, Nikki grins while balancing a tray of champagne flutes and novelty chips painted a shiny gold in honor of opening night.

"Look at you, lucky girl! Nice spin! Care for some complimentary champagne, or something else from the bar? Oh, I'm supposed to hand these out as well," she says, plucking two of the gold chips off her tray and handing them to Lucy.

"They won't work in the slots, but two free hands at the table of your choice...nothing to lose, am I right?"

Her feet were beginning to sting, and the dress barely covered her ass, but even as a part-time gig working for tips, the income was astounding!

Lucy's eyes went wide as three lemons came up and almost jumped out of her skin as the waitress spoke to her.  "I guess it is my lucky night after all."  Lucy smiled at the waitress and accepted the champagne.  "I've never drank the stuff but - seems I have a reason to celebrate."  She lifts her glass in salute to the waitress and sips quickly before nodding at her remarks about the gold chips and having nothing to lose at the tables.

Lucy wasn't a card player, yet, but a lot of the guys she ran with were.  She suspected it was something she had to learn sooner or later if she was going to roll with the big boys.

"My name's Lucy."  She offered.  "Nice to meet you.  Tell your boss he's got a nice joint here.  It really is something!  Nothing like it where I come from."

It was a clear, warm evening on the fabulous Las Vegas Strip and Tammy took full advantage of both the occasion and the weather. She stepped out of the back seat of the car outside the Terminus with a little more glam and presence than she would normally don. Her hair was typically fashioned, curled with an additional perm just to keep it perky. Other than the large glasses, something she was convinced would help her in the game to come, she was made up quite simply. A shimmer to her cheeks and a gloss to her lips was all she needed to be seen under the moody lights of a poker table.

She held her long coat tight and stepped quickly in her heels, a slight wobble in her step would tell that they were far from her usual choice of footwear. It wasn't until she reached the entrance and her coat was taken that she relaxed, her long dress floating around her ankles. She smiled, looking down at herself, not familiar with this level of glamour. The piece had a sparkle detail down the neck line and across the frill at the bottom. As she walked, they reflected the lights of the casino and cast a prism of colour across the floors.

"Tanks' fella."

She grinned at the doorman and made her way across the entrance hall. As she entered the casino floor, Tammy began to noticed other members of the Las Vegas outfit, congregating in the lounge, eagerly anticipating the game.

10 times for 500k you say....

You are a beautiful specimen and I would engage in whatever casino based fantasy you wanted.

Just as long as it didn't include a vice or Joe Pesci

"Will do, Miss Lucy. Pleasure to make your acquaintance. I'm Nikki, and I'll be making sure your well doesn't run dry this evening," she says, placing another flute down in front of LuckyLucy before turning to Legoman .

"Champagne, Sir? It might be a vice, but not the kind you're referring to," she says with a cheeky wink. Offering two gold chips to him, she adds, "First two games on the house, and I'm nearly one-hundred percent certain there is no one by the name of Joe Pesci currently at any of the tables."

Spotting TabithaGato making her way across the floor in a sparkly gown, she looks toward one of the hired pit bosses, Frank-Dicaprio , and tilts her head towards the other woman, making sure he sees her. Being from Vegas himself, she was certain he recognized his city's upper structure when he saw them, but they were being paid to make sure the VIPs were noticed and attended to quickly. Frank smiles and returns a nod...he's seen her as well...and watches on as she follows Miss Gato at a discreet distance towards the VIP lounge. Nikki looks back over her shoulder once to see if Frank was looking at her behind in the too-short dress.

He was.

Tobias is happy seeing the crowd have fun in the casino, because at the end of the day its really not about money, its about him having fun seeing other players happy with the casino games and services.

He goes to announcement room and announce "I am Tobias, manager of Terminus, glad seeing you ladies and gentlemen here, for those who have met requirement and have been paid, you are welcome, please stay tune, there would be a lot of promotion coming, we are preparing that, for those who not yet been paid, its easy, just give me compliment and reach 10 times turnover, the money will be on your way, easy money isn't it? "

"Also for our new casino staff, Im happy you be part of Terminus, this casino wont be as success without you, and for those who wants to apply, we are still hiring, you can contact me for further information"

"Thankyou for your attention Ladies and Gentlemen, and GOODLUCK!!"

Smiling as he watches Nikki walking away wearing her revealing dress.  He thinks to himself what a beautiful woman.  But He knows that Nikki _Swango is no man's property and a match for any man when it comes to business and with them everything is business in their world.  Looking back at his table with the men playing black jack.

To the first player the gentleman holds with a 10 of clubs showing.  The second player holds with two six's showing.  The third player with a seven showing takes a risk an ask for a hit and the king of clubs shows and he's shakes his head in anger.  The fourth player with a eight of diamonds showing takes a risk and receives a five of spades and tosses his hand in.

"The house holds with a 10 of diamond showing.  Player reveal your hold cards.

The first player reveals a 9 of hearts for a total of 19.  The second player reveals a eight for a total of 20. The dealer flips his hold card to reveal the ace of spades for a total of 21. Frank nods at his newly hired dealer.  Then he continues walking the floor ensuring that the dealers are doing there jobs and the people are receiving service.  Looking back at Nikki once more only to loss focus as he watches her serving drinks to the wealthy.

Excellent news, Donnie thought to himself hearing of the grand opening of the casino. Joe was a great man, a wealthy man, a man who's ability to get stuff done and get things made were crazy, it seemed just last month when this place was no more than rubble and dust yet now it's a bloody dream to the eyes.

"Congratulations and good luck with your casino friend! I'll be sure to drop by for a seafood platter and to lose all my hard earned money" He says in jest.

"But for now I 'av to be going see you soon my friend."

Dubliner stood in the employee break room staring at himself in the mirror. His hair fell over his eye as he looked himself up and down.

This uniform is far too small...

His jacket ended mid chest as his belly was clearly visible. His pants were hugging his thighs and ended just above his knee.

I'm fairly certain this was legitimately made for a kindergartener. I hope that's not the case, this Casino may be investigated for child labor. Dub chuckles. What a terrible sense of humor he has... He struggles to pull his jacket down over his belly to no avail. He lets out a deep sigh as his belly expands slightly bursting back out from the jacket. "Need to get back in the gym..." He turns and walks out the door and onto the main floor.

The ringing of slot machines were sounding throughout the high-ceilinged casino. Cheers from a group surrounded the roulette table bounced throughout the room. Old geezers were off their rockers with the young hired women, no doubt vetted by JoeKing himself... It was surprisingly quiet in the casino yet Dub was almost immediately waved down by a customer. An old man with money sticking out of virtually every pocket on his person.

"My dear boy, could you fetch me a rum and cola from the bar?" He waved a bill in the air. As Dub went to grab it, the man pulled back and motioned for Dub to turn around. The man reached out and stuck the bill inside of Dub's pants line. "Jesus Christ this is demeaning." He made his way to the bar slightly embarrassed. As he approaches, he bumps into Tobias.

"Oh my! Dub? What's wrong with your uniform??" Dub looks confused. This is the one he was assigned.

"Joeking gave me this one. What's wrong?"

"Jesus Christ, go put some clothes on!"

As Tobias walked away, Dub turned and saw JoeKing talking to the man who stuck the bill in Dub's pants line. JoeKing notices Dub looking and quickly jumps behind a nearby bush. Dub approaches.

"Classic, Joe... Classic."

"You know nothing, Dubby Snow..."

Hazing on my first day. Why didn't I expect it? Perhaps because I know nothing after all...

Lucy wandered through the crowds with several buckets of coins from her slot machine win.  Balancing them was a real trick.  Rounding another row of the machines she stopped short of running down a man in what appeared to be a child's sized clothing.  Coins rained down on the floor.  The only blessing was that with so few people in the immediate area, there wasn't a flash mob to collect them all.

"I'm so sorry!"  She said to Dub as she went down to the floor and began recollecting her winnings.  "I'm so dingy sometimes... stupid slot machine jackpot... there must be hundreds of coins here.  I tried to catch them, but I was all thumbs!"  She laughed, her cheeks pink with embarrassment and no small amount of warmth from the celebratory champagne.

Ah! Ms. Lucy, please do forgive me!

Dub bends down to help pick up LuckyLucy 's winnings. As he squats, he hears an audible "RRRRRRRRRIIIP!"

Dub looks up at LuckyLucy who continues picking her coins up trying to be polite and pretend as though she heard nothing. Dub felt the warmth of blood rushing to his head. He turned around and saw JoeKing laughing to himself. He rolls his eyes and finishes collecting the coins that had fallen on the ground and hands them over to Lucy.

"Please do forgive me, LuckyLucy, I wasn't paying any attention. Please enjoy another round of games on me! I'll be sure to wire a few thousand to your personal account ASAP. Tell Joe I sent you."

Dub bows his head slightly as he turns and walks briskly to the breakroom feeling quite the draft in his...crotchal region.

"I'll do that!"  She smothered her laughter as best she could, but it was about impossible.  She shakes her head once he's out of site.  The poor guy, it wasn't his fault at all. And that oufit!

She giggled to herself again and made her way towards the cashier's cage.

Bells and whistles, that's all it was. But it worked.

They came from all over the land, chasing the prospect of hitting the big time. It was such a simple, lucrative idea, lacking all elegance and finesse that some of the wiser business men and women would cook up to front their activities. And certainly more discreet. But it worked. It also took balls, as taking ownership of a place like this was a gamble in itself. Though, one would imagine owning a casino meant that you had already made your fortune and it was bigger, broader challenges that satisfied that thirst for success and achievement.

It was admirable, and ballsy. Luca liked ballsy.

He watched from outside as impeccably dressed individuals, groups and couples flowed through the doors. All looking for their own brand of thrill from the tables, slots and wheels. It was such a melting pot of emotions. Hope and desire, exuberance and ecstasy, despair and self-loathing. Luca stood soundly, to take a shoulder up some god forsaken street light would mean coating his jacket sleeve with whatever grime clung to it. No, Giordano needed no support, only his own two feet.

He watched, curious though restrained, as the bells rang and the whistles howled.
