It had taken little effort to obtain entrance into one of the local crews. William had been alive so long that he had, over time, acquired a vast array of skills most useful for those operating on the shadier side of the law. Having used a few of these skills to impress a local Sponsor, he quickly gained a reputation for bringing in the big bucks.

While he was incredibly capable of doing what he considered the lower tier crimes; Pickpocketing, LockPicking, and SafeCracking, he found them all to have one terribly annoying trait in common. They were boring. He didn't like to be bored, and started seeking out new ways to make large sums of money. Ultimately, he decided he would get into the forgery business.

William used a portion of the money he'd been making for his Crewleader to invest in equipment. The following weeks William spent the majority of his time doing research, testing out various methods to print bills that would pass for real.  Being an extremely quick learner, William got the process down with ease and soon after began making small tweaks here and there to perfect it.

Looking over the bill he'd printed most recently, William flashed a grin. Damn near perfect. Repeating the process until he had a briefcase full of the forged cash, William set out to begin the next phase of his scheme.

Hooking up some of the contacts he'd made within New York with varying amounts of the fake money, they began to use it in lieu of real currency. This opened up significant room for them to spend their real money elsewhere, and William's network grew exponentially in virtually no time at all.
