"No, no, sonny." The man argued.

"Fuck YOU!" While his words were loud and clear, it was possibly the pool cue doing most of the talking at this point.

Pollution stood in the middle of the hushed bar. Moments ago, the place was blaring music, people were laughing and dancing. All of that had quickly disappeared with the crash of broken glass and piercing loud voices.

"You think ya smart, fellas? C'mon. Say something clever." Pollution baited the men, begging them for a reason to swing his newfound, wooden tool.

"Hahaha. Not so fucking loud now, are ya?" The two men looked at each other. They looked more confused than frightened. That was probably their mistake. Pollution wasn't known for being one with the most sound of tempers, by those who knew him - least of all with a belly full of whiskey. His large friend and associate, Ray, stood behind him. He placed his hand on Pollution's shoulder and attempted to speak.

"Boss... Let's get you ho-," before his deep voice could finish the words, he quickly silenced himself with the simple raising of Pollution's spare hand.

"You guys got nothing to say now? C'mon.. Ray here won't hurt ya. He won't fucking need to."

"Listen, man.. We were j-," he too was halted mid-sentence. However, he was stopped with the almighty thud of a pool cue making connection with his cheek bone. The man quickly dropped to the floor, clutching his cheek in pain. A small gouge, beginning to seep blood now lay where the fleshier part of his cheek once was. The second man had taken a small leap back and quickly knelt to help his friend out of the swing-zone.

You'd have thought in a nice, posh establishment like this, someone would have made an attempt to stop Pollution - or at least talk him down? No. Not a single word was spoken. A few gasps, the clattering of some chairs as people tried to put more distance between themselves and the crazy guy in the suit - but not a single mutter of disapproval was audible. Ray had pretty much given up trying to reason with his boss and just accepted he'd protect anyone that came towards him. He knew Pollution very well - he spent almost 24 hours a day with the man for the best part of 10-years, he knew when to leave him to do his thing. However, Ray had grown rather concerned. It had been a long time since Pollution was in any way a thug. He'd usually carry himself with much more class these days. Of course, Ray knew the reasons behind his recent outbreaks, but it wasn't for him to share or even dwell on, so he just focused on keeping the wacky guy alive.

Pollution threw the pool cue to the ground, clanking as the wooden knots within it had shattered and splintered throughout. He'd forgotten about the once-happy party-goers around him and began to zone back into the reality of it all as his eyes scanned the room. While he'd learned a lot in his life of organised crime, one thing he'd definitely still not grown to accept, was when to keep his mouth shut.

"What you all looking at? .. And who the fuck stopped the party? We're s'posed to be having a good time, in't we?!" He chuckled, picking up a glass containing an unknown liquid from a nearby table. He chucked the drink to the back of his throat, slamming the glass back down in it's original place,

"What the fuck was that shit?" He spluttered a little.

"Jesus fucking H - tasted like 'orse piss!" He swung his arm at the same table, catapulting almost a dozen glasses and bottles across the room. They each shattered almost rhythmically as they met their messy end against nearby obstructions.

"Listen, guys.. We're all here for a good time. Now.. If you're not gonna have fun.. Why don't you get the fuck out?" Surprisingly, his voice had seemingly calmed. However, it was obvious there was a touch of cockiness still there. Not a single soul in this room was confident enough to defend an innocent man - they certainly weren't going to argue at this point. He looked around the room, raising his eyebrows. His arms made their way away from his body, his hands opening and fingers spreading as he faced them palm-up, looking for some sort of response from the crowd.

"Well? What the fuck are you all still doing here?! GET OUT!!!" The penny dropped - they finally realised he was serious, not calm and in fact still very much unhappy.

The man bearing the new battle scar on his cheek attempted to make his way to his feet with intentions of scuttling for the door. Before his 'clever' plan was in effect Pollution threw his leg into the man's gut. The man's organs squelched, meeting his rib cage as it cracked, vibrating up Pollution's overly-shiny shoe and forcing the man back to the ground withering in pain. He looked up at the man stood stunned behind the bar. Looking back on events, I don't think the frozen body that was once serving cocktails and all things yummy had even moved during the entire situation.

"You.. Lock the doors and get lost. Leave me the keys." Pollution barked orders.

"But..." The man made a weak attempt at saving his business. However, instantly silenced by Pollution's stare, he proceeded to follow orders before darting out of the fire exit, not even removing his work-pinny before hurtling through the streets headed for somewhere safe - or just anywhere that wasn't near the maniac who'd just stolen his bar.

"Now... Me and you, sonny. We're gonna have some fun." Pollution's eyes glazed over, struggling to contain his excitement.
