As I was walking down the street recently after beating a bum half to death I saw a poster board showing a few statistics. My eyesight is not as good as it used to be so as I walked closer I had to squint but I could read where it said "top posters for the city"

Minus all of the bullshit the people at the top are doing between blood lining and such I found this a bit terrifying. I mean we live in a world where the people at the top should be the role models right?

Lets take a look at the effort being given (remember kids you do not have to try very hard when no one else is trying, right?)

Sure you can go and look yourself but let me put it front page and lets chat about it

by FAR the best example so far of street presence by everyone on the list. Too bad you will all be murdered down the road but you are by far the best city for a young mobster to be in (I wont join you because I dont want to die but lol)

Terrible and gets worst as you get to #3. Chicago is a big city and this is the best we can do? Pathetic. It really is not just about living forever and making money with your best friends and coffee shop buddies. You have the position and power so do something other than kill people. Bobbi you are a powerful Don be a good example.

Personally, I believe that there are many unexplored opportunities within the Streets and Business Districts that we ourselves have to drive. Role Play isn't just a thread depicting some daring deed in line with what you expect mafioso to do in their day-to-day lives.

It's creativeness and innovation. We're only limited by imagination and the effort we have available to apply to these things.

The posting statistics do not really reflect a persons content, either, only the volume that they post. I know content plays a part, which would be interesting if tipping contributed to the posting scores, however anyone with the time and motivation to write up a few solid role play threads can sit in the #1 spot for as long as they like. The scores in no way reflect the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. I found in the past that when my time is pulled into crew management or recruitment, that time to walk the streets and put thought into replies suffers.

As I say, if the content you're posting is constructive, challenging or interesting, you deserve those points. But when I see someone at the top and click to see their recent posts, I'm mostly greeted with "Cannot view other cities business districts". Now they may well be running some elaborate role play scenarios in these business districts, that I spoke of before. I can't assume they're not, though I do know I've seen a lot of business districts with the same poster appearing in multiple places at once, all at once.  I'm not saying it's spam, but it's certainly one way to push your name up the list. 

Right now, unless there's something I've not seen yet, that doesn't fit into the 'Role Model' categorization that you're talking about. I assume by 'Role Model', you mean popping up at every street appearance and giving some insightful glimpse into the inner workings of the cities leadership. 

Zero accountability means zero effort.

I personally do not enjoy RP-ing, blowing up imaginary warehouses and and killing russians as much as a good debate. And lately we have had a big increase in the Roleplaying meaning it is something good for the community and people are having fun, but youre not attracting all the attention to your post, a good part of the people will just skip the thread and continue to more important ones. Now i must agree, there are some awesome RP threads which i enjoy reading but they are very few in numbers. 

So to conclude it, Plato once said " Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something. "

Do something good with the community with your threads, involve people, build friendships, not just for the sake of posting!
