It's okay to pickpocket me, it's part of the realism. However, I will mug in return if the money is not handed back. Mugging is -also- part of the authenticity to this world we play in.

Thomas O'Shannon

Born in Ireland, 1906, Thomas was the third son of the O'Shannon house.

Much like his brother, James, Thomas grew up in war torn and riddled country side in County Cork.

In 1913, when he was only seven, Thomas bore witness to their only sister and one of his older brothers being shot by stray bullets. James, better known as Bishop McGough in the states, took out the door for help. He returned with no help, instead, a story of it being the British that killed their siblings.

The next few years were full of passing war between the Crown and the Irish Volunteers. In 1917, James left which made Thomas the oldest in the house. Thomas had plans to follow James within the next few years. They had made a pact to avenge their fallen siblings and fight the Crowns control.

In 1920, Thomas left his home to join the well established IRA. He was 14 and ready to join the cause. He was trained in infantry and was quick to learn automatic weapons handling. Sub-machine gun classed weapons became his forte, along with standard small-arms such as pistols.

As the next two years progressed, Thomas and James met up a few times. When they would, pubs were kicked over between the two. James on his penny whistle or playing the keys, and Thomas playing a guitar and singing.

1922 was a fated year however. Michael Collins was killed, and James decided to leave the IRA. Thomas was invested and had no plan to leave, but helped his brother slip out under cover of night. With a final goodbye, James made Thomas promised to cut ties with him... he didn't.

James never wrote, never tried to make contact, but that didn't stop Thomas from using his connections to keep tabs on his brother.

Thomas remained with the IRA and is currently an arms dealer within the organization. His move to Detroit was solely based off of his brother's phantom disappearance. With a few calls, Thomas was granted permission to stay so long as he made a few arms deals within the American borders. He made sure to sell all he had and send everything monetarily back to the homeland to up the ra.

Now, planning to stay indefinitely, Thomas is looking to set up shop and be the American side IRA contact for their arms smuggling operation along with helping push things through Detroit for KateLogan and the rest of Bishop's old brothers and sisters. La Famiglia Gato go Bragh... Detroit go Bragh... Tiocfaidh ár lá!
