Franco "Frankie Fins" Mascalzone was born to Italians immigrants fresh off the boat in south Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He grew up intelligent, if not socially awkward, and had a lot of trouble of fitting in with the other children his age, but he was adored by his parents and their peers. His father was a high-ranked member of the mafia, la cosa nostra, and as a child Franco was taught all about what it meant to be a man of honor by his father, an education he took to with great enthusiasm. When Franco turned 18 his father accepted him into the ranks of his crew and began to give him more and more responsibilities with time, his father growing more and more proud of him with each passing day; indeed, life was good for the young Italian boy, and his future was very bright.

Unfortunately, the good times would come to an untimely end for Franco and his parents. On January 3rd, 1933, his parents we're gunned down in cold blood by rival mobsters, and Franco was marked for death by association, so he fled the city with only the clothes on his back and  a handful of cash. As he boarded a train to leave the city, Franco vowed that he would become everything his father had taught him to be, and that he would see the bodies of his enemies lying at his feet within his lifetime...
