Little Johhny was poor growing up as a lonely child. His parents were shot when he was 12, shot by a beat cop on the take for a ruthless gang that was shaking down the neighbourhood. After his hardworking dad refused to pay up, the gang had set fire to his shoe store. When the beat cop got called in he took a 10000$ bribe from the gang to eliminate all witnesses. His mother and father were shot on the spot and thrown into the fire. Little johhny, who witnessed it all from the treehouse he was hiding in, managed to flee the scene on his bare feet, outrunning the heavyset gangsters. Johhny could no longer trust law enforcement and swore to one day take revenge on the gang. First he needed new powerful friends so he started doing jobs for respectable crime families as a bag handler, in order to work his way up in the life. Due to a trauma of watching his dad getting shot in their shoe store he can no longer wear shoes and now always walks the streets barefoot.
