Cheshire Cat's Lullaby

Cheshire Kitten (We're All Mad Here) By SJ Tucker

I have no idea who I am or how I feel from one moment to the next. So, I might mug you on the other hand I may not.

Name: Alice Pleasance Liddell

Age: 19

Occupation: Jabberwocky Slayer

Background:
Alice suffers from hallucinations and personality disorders. She is most often found with the Cheshire Cat who is schizophrenic and has a knack for distorting reality.  The Cheshire Cat and Alice have been together since she was fifteen years old, when she found him on her first adventure in Wonderland.  Her adventures in Wonderland take place in her hallucinations, it is a place where nothing is what it is, because it is what it shouldn't be. A world where everything is nonsense.

After four and half years of intensive therapy at the Rutledge Asylum she was released, tentatively. Upon her release she found her mother had been  murdered by the string pulling of her father. This caused her to have to find a new conservator, as she refused to be under the care of her father. The Cheshire Cat directed her to Awakened and introduced her to Garou. Was she awake or was this another one of her hallucinations. She walked into the HQ of the Awakened and there on the floor was her leader Garou. She was emotionless as she watched them cover him with a white sheet and carry him out.  The Cheshire Cat sat there hours later on her shoulder as they watched the funeral procession.

After the services Alice was lost and disoriented she had a choice to make either stay in New York or move to Las Vegas. As usual when she was lost she would find direction from her confidant, The Cheshire Cat.  " Would you tell me which way I should go please." The Cheshire Cat looked to Alice with questioning in his eyes," That depends a great deal where you want to go." Alice looked to her friend as her disorientation played across her face," Well, I don't care where." The Cheshire Cat grinned widely almost manically as he responded," Then it doesn't matter." So, Alice Liddell decided to stay in a big apple called oh Canada.

Unfortunately The Red Queen released the ravens from the writing desk and they pecked at Alice's golden apple. She ran from the scene frantic and distraught with Spades and Clubs chasing her as The Cheshire Cat laughed on her shoulder. "Boy she seems mad, Simply mad."

Then dread started seeping into Alice's mind. Was he talking about The Red Queen, or was he talking about her. And if her madness has come back would they send her back to that dreadful Rutledge Asylum. Disoriented, distraught, and now filled with a sense of  dread Alice reached into the right pocket of  her dress  and took a  tiny bite of the small piece of mushroom she had pulled from it. No sooner did she place the mushroom piece back in her pocket she had shrunk to the size of a mouse.

"Sometimes I have believed six impossible things before breakfast."

6 things counted as Alice slayed the Jabberwocky:

1. There is a potion that can make you shrink
2. And a cake that can make you grow
3. Animals can talk
4. Cat's can disappear
5. There is a place called Wonderland
6. I can slay the Jabberwocky

“There is no one whom you would not appreciate and even love if you but knew their story” (Sr. Joan Chittister, O.S.B)

“If you have to be persuaded, reminded, pressured, lied to, incentivized, coerced, bullied, socially shamed, guilt-tripped, threatened, punished and criminalized... If all of this is considered necessary to gain your compliance -- you can be absolutely certain that what is being promoted is not in your best interest.” - Ian Watson

"Permanence and attachment often play tricks on us as it gives us a false sense of security and support. It guides us onto a path that does not see disruptions; it encourages us to fail to act when we know something isn't quite right; and it generally keeps us stuck and inert as we move about in the world. It discourages questions and encourages stagnation."- Hidalgo et.al
