Benny "Lucky" Lombardi
Born in absolute poverty; Benny grew up in a small fishing village in Sicily. The son of a fisherman and a maid - he comes from a very humble & poor background. He knows life struggles and is determined to never have the life his parents led. He wanted more so he came to New York.
Benny is fully aware of what his path may lead too. The Great Depression devastated the city and made thousands jobless; many turned to the criminal underworld. He will come to realise the gap between his morals & survival are too thin for his liking.
His story is about a homeless immigrant searching for his place in the world; and the one and only option he might have is to become an accustomed criminal himself.
