| I would kindly disagree on this suggestion. What is the pro in this? Besides someone possibly being able to take a reserve name that the original owner put a lot of work on such character. | |

Or the reverse can also happen. Someone take your name that you work hard for. Knowning they have no intention of every using it or doing anything good with it. What are you suppose to do once they reserve it. I am happy with keeping it the same way. If there was some method to contact or communicate the person who has reserved the name. Currently you have no idea if the player is still around. It is a topic I have discussed with the Helpdesk on a number of occasions. They suggest you either post in IRC or Looking for a friend. But what good does it do if they are no longer around to see it. |

Why not simply increase the cost of each additional name? That way people can get what they want but if you want to buy your 20th reserved name it'll cost you 20 credits. |

Someone had the foresight awhile back to reserve as many user names as possible in order to turn a profit on them. Right, wrong, or indifferent, it happened.
I thought there was a change to the reserve system, but I can't find a thread about it. |

my only question is what happens if a player reserves a name and then leaves the game for ever. The game will be permanently deprived of anyone using that name ever again. granted being this would be rare but, this is the reason why i support this idea that situation just shouldn't happen. |

There was another a while back that if you put in over X hours, it reserves your name for free for X. But that was years ago, so I am pretty sure you are referring to the one above. |
