Daenerys will not know what hit her XD but why the night king not kill drogon (the one who was literally just sitting there) baffles me. |

Well, Drogon has plot armor, so he will be the last dragon to die to make it more dramatic. |

That banter was epic. The scene when Jon Snow came face to face with the dragon. Chills and fuck yes out of chair air pump followed. Such a powerful scene. |

I got a lot of good and bad to say about the season... Ouch! Time Travel Whiplash. But... I'll suspend disbelief because, yea, it's a good story over all and worth doing that for. That said...
WTF???? While I loved the death of Little Finger, I couldn't help but feel like the MVP of the Game of Thrones (who, btw, I had previously thought was probably the source of the lie that Lyanna was kidnapped/raped ala the cause of Robert's Rebellion) was a punk this season. Of all the plays he could have been making, he really thought toying with Arya and Sansa was the best one? Especially once Sansa started blowing him off and giving him shade? Or how about when an impossible to know detail was suddenly known by the kid who allegedly can see shit? Maybe he thought he had nothing else to do, but to be honest, I was shocked he didn't jump to team Dany and go do what he could with her. Couldn't we have had him go down bragging about how he brought the world to its knees and made every idiot dance to his tune, before he was ganked? Or maybe a Bran flashback to him telling the fib? Something to remind us why we loved to hate him and hated to love him before he went? Also, I'm probably the only one on the planet who can't figure out why everyone is all excited about Jon. What has this guy done aside from being sexy and knowing nothing (LOL)? Serioulsy... consider these points:
And don't get me started about the "fated to be together" relationship of Dany and Jon & their beautiful future for a better Westeros #MakeWesterosGreatAgain. For a show that stared out with a shocker kill of what felt like a main character (RIP Eddard, who, upon current reflection was probably responsible for Robert's rebellion... Him and that crazy honor of his! Think of it, a lie to protect his GOT now feels like every hero's journey story we've ever read which isn't bad, per say... but it wasn't what I was lead to believe I was watching up to this point. This brings me to Varys. The spider. The spymaster... only, is he? Since when does f'ing Hot Pie have a better spy network than Varys? Why did this dude bring ZERO to the table all season and still gets to sit at the big kids table? I realize that Wanna-be-Maester-Raises-the-Dead-Hand-of-Cersei stole his little birds but COME ON! This guy had, like supernatural knowledge of what was happening around the world, all the sudden he knows nothing? Writers you disappoint me... unless he's a traitor yet and we see it next season. In which case, please, do continue. ;) And a BIG thumbs down for ignoring Gilly. No I'm not talking about Sam, yea, that made sense... he was having a pity party and was all wrapped up in his own annoyance/fear. I'm talking about the writers and how they just let Sam be like "Oh yea, I knew about that!" When it was Gilly! He totally blew it off and didn't put any weight on that detail. Why not have Gilly in the scene. She's got one talent folks, one. Let the damn woman spew her Jeopardy like knowledge! PS: Cersei - Is everyone in Westeros seriously falling for the whole woman over 40 in a stressful lifestyle + extreme consumption of alcohol is pregnant gag? She's a woman who would lie about LITERALLY anything... everyone admits it. Why is anyone (aside from Jamie, who gets a pass because he loves her and wants it to be true so would realistically lie to himself in order to believe it.) falling for this? ESPECIALLY TYRION?!? *facepalm* If Cersei is preggers, the only justice in all the world would be that it comes out a dwarf due to it being a product of incest and from the insane amount of alcohol she consumed early on in the pregnancy (to say nothing of her age and the stress she endures daily.) Still doubting? Rewatch the scene with the white coming at her. Make note of where her hands don't go (hint: NOT HER BELLY) and look what part of her body she thrusts towards the lunging monster (hint: HER BELLY!) Ask any pregnant woman what she did any time she had a fall or minor accident or even got scared during pregnancy and most will probably say what Cersei TRIED to tell Tyrion. They thought of protecting their unborn child... only Cersei didn't.
SNAPS! Strong plus points for allowing the apprentice to become the master #DarthSansa and props to the writers for allowing her to admit that she's a slow learner and probably couldn't have done it all without her siblings #TeamStark. LOVE that we didn't have to make the Stark Sisters HATE each other... but, on the other hand, we could have done without the sad attempt at misdirection for half a season. #Filler. #HitAndMiss Loved that the dragon melted the wall. Was my hope they'd go that way with it. Glad they did. Also think that its epic that Tormond and Beric are there because, if they live, this will tell us a bit about the dead's plans for Westeros... if they are really about killing all the living men, NO ONE at east watch should survive. I think they will and if the heroes are smart, they should realize the Whites are killing anyone in their way - but, in the way of what? I think this is a great way to give us insight into the dead and their goals without spelling it out too loudly. Am I right? Tune in next season, eh? Theon... I've been secretly repeating the Greyjoy motto every time I see him. Seriously, what does this dude have left (well, before Jon gave him the "you're a stark too" talk... yeesh) Wouldn't it have been cooler to have him go after Yara with NOTHING left... like a dead man. After all Euron, you can't kill what's already dead! Theon could represent the best of what is the Greyjoy mentality now that he's been so broken that he had no ties to anything... so, partial bad marks on the writers for attempting to let him and Jon bond. Theon broken is what was needed for his full circle storyline. From dead to king - this is felt a lot like all the times when we need a hero to rescue a damsel... only in this case Theon's not a woman. *look from side to side* Well, you know what I mean. So big thumbs up for Theon being at his low point and coming back up again... and thumbs down for "The Chosen One" aka Jon Snow, being necessary for him to start that journey. #NedIsntInHim #UnlessItsHisDeadPart #HeDoesntNeedDeadNed #PiratesLife Jaime - The one character I've gone full circle on. I hate him in episode #1 and then by this last finale, I am cheering for him and I want him to find a way to be seen for his heroic deeds. I want him to earn the honor and respect he craves and some small part of me holds out the hope that HE (not Jon) is the Prince who is promised. Probably not, but damn it would be great to see a character so worth loathing in episode one, come full trek to being the unlikely hero of the story (of course, he needs to die a hero's death but honestly I'm good with that... we had too many people alive at the end of this season IMHO.) Prediction: Jaime is going north to join Dany because he really thinks Cersei is preggers and with her bailing out of the plan to help, he KNOWS Dany will want to put her to death for her crimes when the time comes. His only hope of saving their love child would be to earn Dany's trust and to beg for it's life... of course, I think there isn't a child so, it's probably for nothing. Dany - Despite my complaints about the whole 'fated to be together' story, it does make sense that Dany is chasing the most eligible bachelor in Westeros right now. I mean, the only other main character fit to give her anything via marriage alliance would be Jaime (and wouldn't THAT have been an interesting twist if they'd split up sooner and Dany and he met?) Seriously though, Jon has titles (god alone knows why, but he does have them) and he's damn sexy... also about her age. So, it makes sense that she'd chase that opportunity and while I am dubious of the love at first sight thing... I keep trying to remind myself that this season was over longer periods of time than we saw so a romance could have developed naturally. Sam - I adored the whole thing at the Citadel. I found it realistic to what I'd expect a place of that nature to be like (including slow to change their mind leadership!) I was worried when Sam cured greyscale (and let's face it, that seemed so far fetched, but okay - I'll roll with it because I love Ser Friendzone so much) that he'd be instantly made a maester. The fact that this didn't happen instantly and without any real work let's me keep my respect for the institution (even if it is full of gossipy stupid old men lol) Love and Hate for the promise of Clegane-Bowl (as the net likes to call it.) Honestly it felt so weak for the hound to walk up all WWF style and threaten his brother "I'm comin' for ya!" ... *eye roll* Okay, we get it, fan service - I want that fight as much as anyone but there is one major problem I had more than anything else with that whole thing: WHY THE HELL IS EVERYONE IGNORING THE FACT THAT THE MOUNTAIN IS A ZOMBIE?!? Seriously, the dude is DEAD. Not even a little, he is a straight up dead dude that looks dead and everyone is acting like the walking dead is NEWS. This guy has been stomping around stinking up the Red Keep for two seasons now and no one has said shit. I half expected Jon (and God alone knows why I expected Jon 'I know nothing' Snow to do this) to say "HEY! That guy is dead!" And BOOM! More reason to hate/ fear / distrust Cersei. She employs the enemy of all man-kind as a bodyguard! ... wow, that had very little snaps in it. Much more bitching than anything. Okay - that's more than I meant to rant about the show... I'll talk more about this later I'm sure, but, um... wow. Yea. I'm Dee and clearly I have a Game of Thrones addiction. *sits down* |

Dee, I think you should tell us how you really feel :) I actually liked the whole misdirection with Sansa and Arya, as it made the little finger death more dramatic. What I'm a little curious about is Bran's lack of helping out the expedition beyond the wall with his abilities. He sees everything, and can control animals. Why didn't he help, or atleast know about them? Or maybe he did, and the theory with him and the night king is legit. Interested to see what comes of that next season and what influence he will have. |

LOL! Okay Romance, you're right. Well deserved sack time (for the audience cause DAMN Jon is a hottie and that almost excuses his utter failures at all else.) As for Bran north of the wall... good point Seraph. I think he could have been a bit more useful. Of course, that could be how they didn't starve to death. We really didn't see a lot of the "how did they survive the natural elements and hunger and such." |

Romance, would you agree that I am similar to Jon Snow IRL? Kind, compassionate, always does the right thing. Good looks, warrior. Always gets the best ass, stabbed in the heart by brothers for being too kind? :S |

For a second I thought when they opened the Wight box that somehow the Wight would have escaped. Especially since he told the soldiers not to touch it & it didn't seem very active until a few moments after the box was opened. Anyone else have to constantly remind their friends who are casual fans about the difference between Wights and White Walkers? Although maybe I'm the jerk for correcting them in the middle of the episode. At least I paused it? lol. |

Too me honest I didn't know there was a difference or different terms. Is that in the show or something from the books? |

I think Cersei will die giving birth, anyways that unborn child will never live. When the witch read her future, she said Cersei would only have 3 children. |
