Despite the fact you've let yourself down with the distasteful comments after the event, I enjoyed the publication. Sure, it was factually flawed in places and a lot of it is hearsay/opinion, but what red top isn't? Keep it coming and a shout out to the unnamed ghostwriters. |

Au contraire, my dear Lare. Twas Jenny who engaged me with poor tasting comments, I simply fired back and showed him for the fool he really is. And even if I did go a bit further than I should have, I am but a thug, I am not expected to behave or act honorably in public. Sadly, it appears that capo ranked left hand men are not expected to either. We do not employ ghost writers at this time, everything was written by yours truly. However, we do have several informants and moles across the country who have been only too eager to spill the beans. Otherwise, thank you for your kind words, and i appreciate your support. |

Pickpocket Paul was wandering the streets looking for an opportunity to prove himself to his new crew. As a lowly associate, it was important that he demonstrated he could be useful in the future so that his sponsors would want to protect him from those who would do him harm. Unfortunately, it was a very windy day and most people were indoors while Paul was struggled to make headway. Litter was blowing all around him, swept up in the gathering storm, when, much to his chagrin, an old newspaper struck him square in the mouth. He spat and scrabbled it out of his eyes, ducking into a doorway for the small protection it afforded. He looked door at the paper that had assaulted him. It was probably slightly worse than the Chicago Tribune in the paper hierarchy, but the passion of the editor and writers was doubtless. Paul could feel their anger, their resentment and overwhelmingly their righteous condemnation. He wondered what became of these plucky objectors and their descendants. Would they stick to their principles and decry these tactics their predecessors had so despised? Or would they become proponents of the very thing they railed against? The door he was leaning against suddenly opened behind him, breaking his train of thought and he was stood face to face with his accountant. "Paul," Mr Blarfstein said with a frown. "Good timing! This came for you." He handed Paul a note. It read:
Paul dropped the newspaper in the gutter where it belonged. |
