There has been some controversy about Parts I & II of this detailed history of the LVCF.  It is not my intention to cause difficulties for anyone.  Therefore, I am doing a focus group style discussion session, today, on these Streets, to see what the public appetite is like.

I think you should ive up now mate I have heard to much about RK in last few days or just give it a few weeks before speaking about it in streets again.

As much as hearing about your father is amusing, KuklinskiII, I am more interested in hearing about you.

Part I and II were excellent and very well written - a focus group style discussion seems ideal for part III - perhaps we can use feedback from this part to decide on the best format for part IV.

I just wanted to add a bit more detail regarding the fall of RJ which I don't think was covered in the first two parts - apologies if it was and I missed it.

I think we've established why RJ had to be taken out - within a day or so of being authed he had gone out of control - thown insults and threatened to shoot high rankers within the LVCF, started bragging to anyone that would listen about how the whole city lived in fear of him, encouraged James Terranova to go rouge and plotted to take over in LV. Pretty good going for a days work but any other city leader in RK's position would have no option other than to kill him.

Hilariously, RK decided to organise a competition - the prize was to shoot an MIA that RK had spawned with a credit and RJ was the only competitor! When RJ inevitably won the 'competition' and shot the IA (confirming his location and meaning couldn't shoot for another hour), RJ's RHM Robbie was quickly and efficiently taken out and again, hilariously RK completely missed RJ.

Needless to say that RJ wasn't happy at this turn of events and the rest is history and has been covered in the other parts but it's pretty funny for RJ to come back later and say this was all planned by him in advance in order to try and make RK look bad. Anyway keep up the good work guys - haven't had so many laughs for ages!

Does anyone have any suggestions for sub-headings?  Perhaps about the LVCF's actions during the wars?  It's a shame Richard_Roma's son isn't here, him and my dad were in the bunker, plotting their next move.  I understand that there was a dispute between them, RK wanting to apply strategy, cunning and guile, while RR was drunk and wanted to shoot people..

Toblerone's summing up of the RJ debacle is accurate, though he really isn't worthy of the attention he gets.

I think it's fair to say that the LVCF's actions during the wars were pretty consistent and took a two-pronged approach:

* hang fire until it's clear who the winner is going to be.

* join the winning side.

So simple - yet effective. Often the best plans are the simplest ones.

Richard_Roma's wanted to shoot people during the war and this was contrary to your father's strategy???

Ya know what though, in fairness to Richard_Kuklinski, my father only had one interaction with the man, one that could have very well been an unpleasant one for RK, but said that Kuklinski was nothing short of a gentleman and the issue was resolved civilly. Thought that would be fair to mention in the midst of all this RK bashing.

Oscar, Toblerone, in a nutshell summarised RK's war time strategy.  It was simple, yet effective.

Sorry to be the one to bring a bit of reality in here again. But evidence shows that RK's war time plan of joining the side that would eventually win worked like a charm. Unfortunately it was not effective because he died. Surely any war time plan revolves entirely around the fact to be successful you need to be alive?

Shooting without a pro wacker available when a number of armed bastards are around was also a great war time stragety and one I am sure many people used.

Ah, but Gene - everyone's time comes, sooner or later.  RK lasted for five months.  Really not a bad achievement, considering the level of jealousy that was manifested by homocidal thought.
