Godfather Gwarble I apologise to you now for my outburst here, but considering the drivel that has been spouted over the past few days about that idiot crew leader from LV I've had my fill of listening and decided to say something.

Toblerone - how about a chapter on the finances of the LVCF?  The competitions, the war profiteering on the credit marketplace.

We might need to break the legacy into two parts - the detractors, and the supporters?

Yeah sounds like a good idea - it's obviously a topic that divides opinion, not sure why the detractors are coming here expressing their dissatisfaction and attracting more attention to the discussion instead of ignoring it and letting it die - it seems counter-productive.

The lack of gratitude for these stories is appalling to me. I have yet to hear an ounce of appreciation for the months and months of laugh-a-minute entertainment that the Las Vegas Project provided for This Thing of Ours from the very beginning.

I remember as a boy while my father was off fighting in the war, being dissapointed to see Robert_Guiscard take the helm as Godfather of Las Vegas, because I knew his keen leadership would mark the end of the non-stop bafoonery and wacky antics that I had grown to love from that city.

People have the nerve to insult FlyingPig for a Durden mishap, yet we seem to have forgotten Godfather Kerrupt mistaking himself as a Durden enemy and shooting himself in the head instead. And what about The RK vs RJ Civil War which resulted in the death of not just one, but several gangsters and goombas? The Son of Mystery rogue where he selected a pro-wacker with no gun? The kin of slain LVCF mobsters coming out and suggesting that fingering themselves on the sidelines and ultimately being obliterated was a 'simple yet effective' war strategy? This is gold, people.

Kuklinski's stories have brought these great memories back to the forefronts of our minds again, and for that I say thank you. We now have documented chronicles that can be passed down to future generations so that they too may enjoy. Yet you all come out here and shun these stories and regard them as garbage.

Hear hear Oscar, bless your furry green self. And since I may not have made it clear earlier - I, for one, very much appreciate everything that Mr. Kuklinski did - not just for Las Vegas, but the wider mafia community in general and look back on the times I spent in LV with nothing but fond memories.

To be fair there have been a number of appreciative comments and contributions so far but I'd agree it's a shame that so many people are coming out onto the streets with nothing but negativity to contribute.

Thanks also for for reminding us all about the other mistakes made by LV crew leaders that seem to have been all but forgotten in the supernovae that was the end of the longest serving crew leader Las Vegas had seen for a very long time.

It's worth also bearing in mind that the majority of the disdainful comments and insults being slung at the late Kuklinski are coming from people with some kind of a personal axe to grind since they or perhaps one of their ancestors were shot, nearly shot, wackbacked on, or disciplined by the great man personally.

No doubt a large part of this is due to jealousy, feelings of having being personally aggrieved or perhaps some other phycholgical factors are at play - it could make an interesting topic for part V.

Anyway to pick up on KuklinskiII's previous comment - yes I can vouch for the fact that a great deal of money was made on the credit marketplace by playing and often times manipulating directly the prices of credits. "Buy low and sell high" was always Kuku's mantra and it worked astonishingly well. This practice was in no small part instumental in being able to purchase a casino which led to yet further millions rolling into the coffers of the LVCF.

I'm unsure whether this should be included under the taxes and tribute category in the strategy section of Part III, but would be inclined to add it as a new sub-heading.

What will it take for you to understand that nobody cares anything about what your father had done. To be honest,I think Rk's 'legacy' as you call it was just a load of horse shit,and i find it amusing the way you described your father in part one,or maybe it was two,I dont remember,as I was too busy sitting back and laughing at what a complete moron you are.
