The owner of a vegan food truck in northeastern Pennsylvania has sparked outrage after writing dismissively of the deaths of 'meat eaters' in the Las Vegas massacre.

Delinda Jensen, 60, tells the Times Leader of Wilkes-Barre that she has received death threats and abusive comments, and was forced to close down her business in the wake of her post Monday night.

Jensen wrote: 'Yes I am jaded. Fifty nine meat eaters dead. How many animals will live because of this?" In a second comment, she used an expletive to say she didn't care about "carnists."'

Dollface, I'm just as outraged over that link you posted.  My assumption is that if you're vegan, you are vegan because you think there is a sanctity to life, and that all conscious life should be protected. Even as someone who eats meat, I can understand why someone would chose to be vegan. What I cannot understand is how someone could so blatantly disregard loss of life like this.  Yes, some animals may be saved because some people died, but lets remember for a minute that SOME PEOPLE DIED.  They had mothers and fathers and siblings and friends, and their deaths will hurt people for years to come. 

I don't care that she had to close her business due to death threats, I think she deserves to get backlash for the things she said.  no matter what your view on eating meat is, you should never celebrate the death of anyone.  She's disgusting, and deserves to be boycotted for it.
