Detroit Riverwalk Started by: Michael_Spillane on Dec 01, '17 01:13

It was truly worthwhile to take a walk in these fine areas where the Detroit Riverwalk were at, tremendous surroundings where anyone easily could relax while taking time in this great and famous park-site.

When he was about halfways he meat up with a good old friend and they walked the last bit together talking and laughing at things, it was really a good walk together and when they came to the end of it they gave each other a hug and promise to meet each other more often, not only here but also at other places.

A wonderfuö day for taking it easy and take a visit to Detroit Riverwalk, he always took the opportunity to do this when being in Detroit. In her, you could relax and have a really good time while getting some exercise too. When he came along the path nearest the river he meat up with some of his crew-member and had a small talk with them before heading on to his favorite spot.

He now reached the area he just loved, the pond with those funny ducks in, he could sit and watch them for hours. Today he had brought along some old bread he got from a cafè he visited in the morning hours and now he throwout small bits of them and smiled when they fought on each small bit of bread, amazing, they were all well fed so why fighting over small bread-bits each time, they looked like humans, they who got much wanted even more each time.

Strolling down the Detroit Riverwalk late one afternoon Yukihira thought he'd take a bit of a breather and relax in this gorgeous scenery. Making his way up to a cafe he grabbed a nice bold cup of black coffee and took a seat outside so that he could better see the river. Sipping his coffee he smiled as he watched the people around him enjoying themselves in this beautiful city and in this peaceful stretch of businesses in particular.

Once he finished with his coffee left a generous tip for the kid that worked there and walked a bit closer to watch the river and have a smoke. After pulling a cigarette from his case he casually removed his lighter and sparked up his cigarette. Puffing away at his cigarette he let himself relax a bit more as he knew once he finished he'd best head back to 12th street and get back to work.

As his cigarette came near its end he walked over to a trash can and snuffed it out before tossing it in the bin. He turned around and took another look at the tranquility of this place smiling a bit as he took it all in. Letting out a soft sigh Yukihira slid his hands into his pockets as he turned and started heading back for home.

He had just taken a drink and now he was near the Detroit Riverwalk so he thought why not take a short walk here and make plans for tonight when meeting his former lover from the teenage-years, he wanted it to be the best, he was about to hire a limo and hoped she s gonna be impressed over this and perhaps, just perhaps give him a great evening. He walked through the park pretty fast and felt even more sleepy now and that's good, he was gonna sleep well, he knew it.

Walking up to the Detroit Riverwalk Yukihira's mind thought back to a time not long ago. He slowly walked by the river as he looked across all the shops in the area while he pulled a flask from his jacket pocket. Yukihira slowly unscrewed the cap and took a long swig of the whiskey inside before letting out a long sigh. He put the cap back on tightened it before slipping it back into his jacket.

Moments later he was a bit further down the river and pulling a cigarette from his pack. As he lit it up he took a deep drag from it letting it fill his lungs with smoke. Leaning against the rails he looked out at the river watching the water with no particular purpose as he finished his smoke. As he turned to leave he looked over the shops again and as he made his way back to the city he dropped his cigarette butt in the trash.

The sunset dinner cruise had been everything that Desiderio could have hoped to experience for the price. He tossed down his napkin into an empty steak and lobster combination that had made him feel like he may never need to eat again. Desiderio had gone the extra mile with the pay and talked the proprietor into his own itinerary for the night. An envelope filled with look-the-other-ways really got you whatever you wanted if you asked right.

Alcee_ 's hand gripped to Desiderio's thigh and gave it a warning squeeze as the waiter brought out a bottle of Dom Perignon. His arm wrapped around her shoulder as he leaned back and looked across the table. The Don stared not at the picturesque skyline of Detroit, but instead, his bore holes into one Thomas Turner. Mr. Turner owned a large warehouse that backed up to Bensonhurst Steel. Desiderio intended to turn it into a renovated headquarters for his outfit hiding behind the guise of a successful steel forge.

Desiderio nodded at Alcee who then retrieved all the documents they had drawn up before 'wooing' Mr. Turner off to a trip in Detroit. The man had a solid love for automobiles. A promise of a chance to try next years cars out from Desiderio's connections was enough to get him to come along, alone. There would be no tour of automobile factories. This deal ended tonight one way or another.

"Signore, it's quite simple. You'll sign the warehouse over to me at 90% of market value now that you've delayed the sale."

"Excuse me?" Thomas said showing the first sign of color the couple had seen in his constantly pale face.

"What I mean to say Signore Turner is this." Desiderio took a drink from the now full flute of the champagne as Hector and Rocky, two of his hired guards, began to drag a body behind him, tied down with enough concrete to keep them on the bottom. Desiderio couldn't hold back the smirk as he saw the way Mr. Turner's eyes grew. He was now unable to focus much on paperwork as he watched them ditch the unemployed fuck over into the river.

"I do two types of business in this world. Which side of me do you wish to deal with? The one offering you cash for your warehouse? Or..." Desiderio's hand stroked along Alcee's neck in a slow rhythm. He couldn't help but play with that new choker he'd given her when his hand was near. His head tilted to the scene behind him as the men never said a word to those seated at the table enjoying their dinner. They were too busy dragging, tying, and dumping three more bodies to a watery grave.

"So we have a deal? Eccellente! Now get the fuck out of here so I can enjoy this trip with my beautiful wife." Desiderio snatched the paper from the trembling man's hand and pointed back towards the inside of the boat where he could wait.

"Hector, Rocky. Hurry the fuck up. Get this table out of here, too. I feel like dancing. Have the crew fetch a radio."

"Tonight then, si.  Perfezionare Signore Turner."

The mark was easy.  Alcee didn't even put much effort into this one, what with the way Signore Turner was practically jumping at the chance to have dinner on a cruise.  Such a sad, sad man to think that she would be dining alone with him- the cretin her Husband was aiming to do business with that evening.  After issuing the invitation for dinner, Alcee then headed back to their new offices located at Bensonhurst Steel.  Alcee spent a couple hours preparing all the paperwork, declining the repeated offers of help from the secretaries- some matters just were too delicate to allow any prying eyes to peek.

It wasn't long after she headed home, carrying the briefcase of paperwork, glancing about checking her surroundings as if someone would want to attack and steal those precious files.  Alcee wasn't too worried about things like that with their top notch security trailing around her everywhere she went alone- even a quick shopping trip.  Hazel eyes traveled to the trio who were with her just then.  Victor and Vance, two cousins who always tried to outdo the other out in the gun range, and seemed to always have some kinda bet going on between them.  The older gentleman lurking behind those two had been employed with Desiderio and Alcee almost since they settled here in the Americas.  Gisueppe had been through a lot with the couple over their time here in these lands.

Quietly she sat there enjoying the delicious steak dinner while her Husband handled the business part of their evening.  Alcee loved watching Desiderio work His magic in the business world as He used His powers of persuasion on even the hardest nut to crack.  The phrase 'resistence is futile' was an appropriate saying when people dealt with her Husband because He always got what He wanted.  She noticed Hector and Rocky approaching with a body, her hand squeezed Desiderio's thigh to alert Him.

Alcee wasn't sure why Signore Turner kept up his false front of bravery because his eyes spoke volumes, especially once he watched in horror as not one body dumped over the rail, but one by one, another one then another creating splashes as the cement shoes they were fitted for hit the water waves, sucking them under the surface.  She herself was preoccupied with the firm yet gentle hand of her Husband as He stroked the new gift He recently purchased for their anniversary.  Alcee loved wearing it everywhere these days- the Diamond choker with the Emerald center stone was so beautiful, and matched perfectly to the dark green and black dress she had chosen for the dinner cruise.

With a strangled sound coming from across the table, she glanced back over to their dinner companion.  Alcee couldn't hide the smirk on her face as she watched Signore Turner gulp in nervousness then reach for the pen generously provided, scribble his name across the paper, shakily drop the pen to the table before Desiderio announced the meeting was over.  Once things were settled, the table was removed from where it was, opening the floor up to the couple for one of the things they did quite well.  As soon as she was in His arms, Alcee placed a soft kiss on Desiderio's neck then smiled as He pulled her even closer to Him.

"Possiamo ballare tutta la notte, Amore mio."

He felt a bit lonely when strolling around in the park, just a few people were at the ame mission as he was, sad, a wonderful day like this and just a couple that had gone out for a walk in this beautiful park that was so enjoyable walking around just before dinner-time so the dinner would taste even better after a long good walk.

He spotted two men standing under a tree in harsh argument, suddenly he see that one of them puts up a gun and shoots down and killed the other one, he fast hides behind a bush, he wouldnt get involved in this in any way. After a while it was silence again and he hurries out from the park, ready to get something good to eat and forget about this sad killing he just saw.

Dick found a nice secluded place, half covered by the bare looking trees, he dropped his bag into the soft snow with an audible thud. Crouching down, he pulled the zipper on the duffel bag open, first pulling out a white towel to lay on the ground before pulling out all of the pieces and laying them atop it.

His fingers moved in a way that clearly showed he had done this many times before. He pieces the rifle together completely, lastly screwing the long silencer on the end of it.

There was just enough light reflecting off of the snow that he was able to see the file folder that he pulled from the bag next. Quickly flipping through once more even though he had already committed it to memory. The last thing he needed as a fuck up on a scale this big. There was only going to be one chance at this and then chaos was going to reign supreme for an hour or two.

Stuffing the file back away, he settled down on his stomach, his right eye resting just behind the scope. If the intel he received was accurate, the target should be just finishing up dinner in a few more minutes, the same way he did every Thursday night.

Dick drew a slow, deep breath inward, doing his best to calm the beating heart in his chest. He closed his eyes lightly, focusing on the sounds around him. It was a learned skill but it was paying dividends now more than ever.

He opened his eyes just as the front door of the restaurant pushed outward, the first three of the man’s bodyguards scanning the river walk, each with a hand stuffed inside of their jackets, presumably holding the grip of their weapons. The man’s wife stepped out next, the corners of her flashy fur coat flapping in the cold breeze. The collar was flipped up to hide her face as best she could but even from this distance, Dick could still tell who she was, matching her face from the file folder. The husband, the target stepped out into the cold next. Dick could see a couple more of his security detail on his heels as he gently squeezed the trigger.

The audible pop rang in his ears despite the silencer as Dick kept his eyes trained down the scope. The bullet crossed the distance between them in a second or two, slamming full force into the man’s chest, sending his limbs flailing as the bullet exploded out of the center of his back. Dick kept watching as the man crumpled to the ground. His wife dropping to her knees beside him, wailing out in agony.

Dick let out his breath as he began disassembling the rifle. He quickly stored it away, before moving over to the river bank and dropping the entire thing it. He flipped his hood up as he made his way out of the area. Not drawing any attention to himself as he moved.

Chris was walking down the Detroit Riverwalk.  He was dressed in a extra long gray wool overcoat with silk like matching gray slacks. Chris lit a cigarette as he thought about his life and the direction it was going.  He thought about his rackets that was given to him to manage and what his Godmother wanted from him.  Chris was no stranger to war or peace but peace was great for profits.   He looked for a place to grab a hoggie and soft drink but he wasn't coming across anything that got his taste buds humming.

He then looked at his watch and knew that his mark was going to be approching from the southwest but it was to crowded for him to make his move and escape without making noise and being seen.  He looked for an alley to get the target to walk down and then finish his objective but just then the cops walk down coming from that very alley.

It has been a very long time since Sabrina last walked down the Detroit Riverwalk. Why is a good question apart from her being busy, of course? The life of a leader was not one where one can often relax, especially not as there are small disturbances all over the country since quite recently. Not really the best time to just relax.

So she thought about just walking down the river and taking some time to clear her mind and relax. She can see Chris-Lucchese from afar, so she slowly walks towards him, but trying to make sure to be quiet to then hug him from behind.

Report Post Tip

Chris lend over the railing looking out at lake Michigan.  He smirked as he thought about the whiskey plant that he owns a part of just a few miles away in Canada.   Smoking his Cigarette and looking into the bluish gray water then he felt arms wrap around him softly.  Chris turned and looked around and saw his Sabrina.  Chris gave her a hug and a kiss then smiled.

When did you get back into Detroit?  I thought you were in New York for another day or two?

Report Post Tip

Sabrina hugs him from behind as she rests for a little minute and enjoys the moment. Enjoying the silence before @Chirs-Lucchese turns around and returns the hug. She cannot help but smile as he also adds in a kiss. Of course much to her pleasure as she then gives him an answer to the question ''Well I got an important call, that I could not ignore you see. So I had to come back. Why are you here?''

Report Post Tip

Chris looked at Sabrina then answered her question.

I here waiting to meet you and I have a bit of business to handle.

Report Post Tip

She looks at Chris-Lucchese and then says ''What kind of business is it this time Chris? Hopefully nothing to dangerous or exhausting'' she laughs

Report Post Tip

Chris looks at Sabrina.

I plan to purchase some stones that I will sale to a friend in Canada.

Report Post Tip

She continues to look at Chris-Lucchese and then asks him ''Stones? Really? What kind of stones they must be special''

Report Post Tip

Chris smiles then hugs Sabrina again then tells her.

We can go get lunch and I'll tell you all about them and my plans.

Report Post Tip

The woman is surprised about the hug but cannot complain about it either ''Sounds like a good plan, where do you want to go eat today?''
