| Don't understand how someone is able to put multiple 100 million dollar hits in less than 24 hours while the only way of removing it is by paying it or dying. There is no balance on the hitlist when dealing with ppl who have a fortune of credits. If I shoot the person who put up the hit and they die the hit should be removed or the price should drop that is my suggestion would like to see how others feel about it or if others have there own opinions on it. | |

Find an alternative that allows a small guy steamrolled by a big guy to hit back, or at least make the large guys consider possible consequences before steam rolling little guys. Find an alternative that works for all situations, then we can modify the hitlist. Take the disorder regime. If when the purges started, members started putting up their CLs on the hitlist on the first purge, what would happen? Then the second purge? Then the third? Then the fourth? I think we would have had a very very different landscape if the small guys chose to exercise their collective power. I don't think thats something we should take away from people. There is no programatic way to determine if the hit is for good or for bad. So, if you want to take it away or limit it, you need to find alternatives that satisfy the purpose of the hitlist. |

I understand what you are getting at, but there is already systems in place for this. The little guys could go for constant 1% chances . I have been a "little guy" every single run till now so I understand the experience behind being killed for who you talk to or are friends with. Maybe my suggestion about removing the hit overall was a bit much, but there should be a variable in play to avoid people swiping there credit cards and spamming max hits on people they dont like. Possibly having to upkeep there hits according to how much the initial is, could have a max hit have a capped upkeep of 20% or 25% . Where as 50 mill hit would have a max upkeep of 10% or 12%. This way the person can think more about setting 5+ capped hits at the same time. They are still able to put there hits up just would need to be smarter about timing.
I see what you are getting at but that is not the current case at hand. There is one person with a shit ton of credits posting the current hits. I am all for the little guys coming together to build guns and try and pull a quick one on the ppl that are above them, that's part of the game. What I don't understand is how as a regular player I am supposed to obtain all this money. 1 billion in hits is ridiculous , how is the game to progress while cities take hits like this finacillay. All I am suggesting is level the playing field for those who do not invest thousand of dollars into the game. |

"I see what you are getting at but that is not the current case at hand." Thats just it, you need to consider all cases and not just the one when limiting future uses of a feature. |

Initially there where 8 100 million dollar hits. + . Buying off an anoymous hit costs the value of the hit plus an added 25%. |

This being the main suggestion, I find myself agreeing with removing the hit if the hit placer dies. In reality, if you place a hit on someone and then you die, you have no way of paying the hit-man that carries it out after your death. It is just common sense: no money = no job. The balance for the little player is the fact that you can place anonymously. That's coming from a little player. |

As of now the lister pays 25% and 100% of the money up front for an anonymous hit. The hit is now in motion and is not tied to the original lister in any way. The Hitlist service itself is now prepaid. Since the service doesn't know or care who paid, it also doesn't care who died. It's job is to fulfill their agreement of acting as escrow to pay whoever takes the final shot. If you want to take away that aspect then it should be funded by a bank account tied to the lister in which they can add and remove from at will. At the end of the day shooting the lister to remove it will just be a shot in dark as the lister will just have others list for them. You can kill every account who matches a time frame and still not get the lister. I'm always down for ideas on how to improve it so keep brainstorming. |

| If the person who put up the hit is killed then the hit should be removed from off the list, how can a dead man have a contract on someone’s head if they’re dead? A dead person can’t pay a hitman cause they’re dead. | |

Squishy literally explained it in his previous post:
As annoying as mega hitlists are, it is an important balance in the game to have a mechanism that allows smaller users to make bigger users sweat.
However, I do take issue with the fact that these supersized hits can be funded with money in the marketplace that is designed to stabilize the game. When the right side of the market has 1.24+ billion in cash that can be ordered up instantaneously if you have the credits, the argument that that this feature is designed to benefit the little guy withers in the light a bit. |

Cool Yacht. I don’t think the bigger users are sweating though , I was giving a suggestion . I think if the person who posted the hit dies then the persons hits should go away if not that then maybe drop the amount of the hit a little after the person who placed them dies. |

What about ordering services divided in tiers that become substantially more expensive between each tier? Biggest one would cost let's say hmm some ridicilious sum - 800 mil? And that would prompt some agency organization to attempt and kill off the person. Only way to remove that is to either actually die, or turning yourself in to them, which will allow the initiator of the service to talk with your privately and decide if he should K.O you or let you go out of the red room. The initiator's identity will be kept private during the chat. Not sure if all services will be the same. Like, just amped up - same idea, or there will be other things like reckon -> get location of target, but delivered to you in quite a big delay [6 to 12 hours?]. TL:DR: Turn hitlist into a service section, where people can buy services divided in tiers. Not sure if everyone should have access to all tiers, but with money everything is possible so makes sense. |

Maybe you'd pay for exclusive membership to get access to next tier's services. Just tossing ideas that just came into my mind. Don't mind me. |

If you really believe that people would not talk about it and others would not find out , put this into play . I can guarntee we would not have had that many recent hits up. |

Are you suggesting we go back to the 'anon when killed the hit goes away' method where it was also 2x the price to buy it off? Thats a fair trade I am willing to go back to if the users support that. |

Guys - maybe I'm off base here (correct me if I'm wrong) but has anyone considered that the recent hits might have been put up AFTER the player lost their established character.
Now, I can't think of a way to stop people from using their massive pile of credits to purchase in-game-cash to bring hell down upon their enemies in the form of a massive hitlisting doing what I described in the example above (nothing legal at least lol) but heck they wouldn't really even need credits if they knew their demise was coming! They could have stashed cash with an in game ally until they came back as a new character and BOOM... money gets transferred to this new 'nobody' who then posts an ENORMOUS hit on the hit list against the person they are salty with. Short of getting rid of the hit list all together... I don't see how you can avoid this sort of situation. Even if you ended hits with the lister's death, you'd just have folks saving their pennies in the form of credits to buy hits AFTER death. YES - it sucks this happened because now a lot of us are trying to buy those hits off instead of investing in new CLs and GFs... but it's part of the game and so far as I can see, it's legit and I really don't see a way to change that without removing hitlisting from the game. *shrug* Just my two cents. |

I'm suggesting you establish something that does not entitle people with credit cards to swipe them and throw multiple max hits up because they are salty or upset. I gave an initial suggestion in witch you responded to only the second half of the post I made. Witch had nothing to do with the hitlist mechanic , but instead the hitlist situation. Not sure what more to suggest, do you have any ideas? |

| It's frustrating when a hit is placed on an active player, let along multiple hits. There are plenty of ways to earn cash without having to use a credit card in my opinion. I can only imagine the hault this is putting on New York. If the hits were to change though, more damage would be done possible to a city in which the hit is placed. Just my thiughts on the matter. | |

Was discussing this with another player in chat... What about an increasing fee on second, third, or fourth hits placed on the same person? That way you can at least try to prevent someone having 2+ hits on them at any time? ----- As someone who normally promotes coming to a problem with solutions, I want to apologize for not having come up with a possible way to resolve the issue when I said why I didn't think your idea would work. It was rude. BUT - that being said - this is a REALLY tough topic because I feel like it's a question which sorta reads like this: "What do we do about people who have a lot of real life money to throw at putting their enemies on the hitlist?" And really other than NOT having a hitlist, I don't think there is anything we can do. And sadly, hits would still go out even if the hit list was gone (but they would be unsecured and that sucks for people who risk their live to take on a contact and risk not getting paid.) --- One more thing... again I'd like to stress that I DO NOT agree with the recent listing of people on the hitlist (heck, I've been helping to buy them off too!) I'm just saying that - as things stand - it's fair and legit... and I don't know that there is a way to stop that. Again - apologizes if I seemed salty. |

What does this achieve? If a 2nd user wants to place a hit up on someone so that they too can extract their revenge, should they pay more because the person on the hitlist happen to piss off multiple people and someone else got their first? |
