The following post by Don Shaggs will includes the odds we are offering on these incredible writers
as well as instructions on how you can place a bet!

The topic on which they will be writing, will be announced in three days time.
At that point we will no longer be taking any bets and the writers will begin.
We will also be taking your votes for the winner at that time.
You must attach your MR username to your vote for it to count
as we may (at random) verify that the vote is legitimate.

Writers will be given five days (from the timestamp on the post announcing the topic) to finish their piece.
At that point votes will be tallied and a winner declared shortly there after.

Odds for Fight 1

Alright everyone this is going to be an awesome fight and I am greatly looking forward to it.

After doing my initial studies I have decided that Sullivanblack is the favorite and Stefano_Cavelli is the underdog.

They are fairly well matched so the odds will not be crazy but this will a good one to start out with.

The odds are as follows

SullivanBlack -130 (Bet $25,000 to win $17,850)

Stefano_Cavelli +130 (Bet $25,000 to win $32,500)

How to Bet

I will be taking bets up until the day of the fight. For the first fight there will be a cap of $250,000

If you want to bet, wire me the money with the name of your choice in the notes.

Just a reminder that we're getting close to the end of betting so get those last minute wagers in!!!!

This match, our contenders are going to hit the streets and write a story about the topic which follows.  A few reminders gentlemen, so we keep this a good clean fight.

• Stories must meet a 500 word minimum or are disqualified.
• Stories are not to exceed 10,000 words.  
• Contenders will have one week in which to write their story (7 days from this time stamp.) 
• Contenders must post a link to their story IN THIS THREAD for it to count.  Even if your title clearly notes it's for Write Club, we will not count your entry into the battle unless the link is here for everyone to easily find and read.
• In the event that only one writer finishes in time, he/she wins by forfeit.
