I'd say its more of a Don't come to the street and disrespect a Chicago member by telling him "I don't remember caring" when he asked a legit question, and then expect members of Chicago to show you respect day.

You came out and saw a little tit-for-tat between two newspaper editors. You then went completely overboard, in my opinion, and started to openly disrespect a member of New York for... What i came out and saw was a member being attacked without regard for who he was or where he was from, Myself and my fellow chicago leader deemed it resaonable to stand up for him.

There seems to be some kind of misconception here that someone can slap disrespectful opinions into "newspaper" form and we're all supposed to sit by and congratulate her on another great issue? I don't think so. It's one thing if you're publishing an interview where someone else is showing disrespect. That should be taken up with the person interviewed but that's clearly not the case here.

Priscilla has insulted multiple members of Chicago both inside her "newspaper" and out. She has in no way earned the ability to do that. If she ever chooses to report the news then perhaps I'll wish her the best of luck but as long as she wants to express her opinions then I suggest she just leave Chicago names out of it at this point.

The difference between successfully using satire and failing at it and coming off as arrogant and insulting, beside having the wit and wisdom to do so, is having earned enough respect and admiration from your subjects that they will allow and even enjoy the abuse. These attempts have failed on every level.

I rather enjoyed this paper, shame it was ruined by the bitch fest.

I beg your pardon but that quote she had of you, were a comment of YOU addressing HER previously in PUBLIC, am I right? I hope so, because I believe I am. As far as I know when you talk in public you should expect someone to quote you, what you say in public is PUBLIC announcement. If you don't want people to quote what you say, don't talk in public or copy right every word you say.

As for the offense and Defense parts, I dunno, Just good luck everyone playing your role.

Exactly, if Max had not called me ignorant, I would have never quoted him, which caused him to say "Sorry, I don't remember asking you to quote me on something I have said", which caused me to say I don't remember caring to Jonnie coming into the streets calling my paper a piece of shit.

Look at that, Max caused a chain reaction!

So if anything, Max-Hun is the person you should be addressing, not me and my "shitty newspaper". Mmkay?!

Like most newspapers in this world, I believe in the mantra, "If you don't like it, don't read it."  Luckily, with this particular paper, there is plenty to not like, and unfortunately when you run a city you're forced to see and hear everything to see all sides of a story. I'm all for freedom of the press, and at times you have to defend what you write, a department failed at today.  However, everyone wouldn't have gotten all hot and bothered had Mr. Max Hun, my wayward Wise Guy, just kept quiet. 

People like Priscilla are creatures of habit, when I sat Mr. Hun down last week, I told him to not take a bite at any of the inevitable bait thrown at him in future issues of her newspaper.  I knew she would chum the waters for him, and instead of listening to my instruction he decided to still speak out.  That is why you see Mr. Hun in the obituaries currently, anyone who has ever worked with me knows I do not enjoy giving orders twice.  Mr. Hunt was correct in saying that my member had started this, if you look at the 2nd issue of Priscilla's paper you will see that Mr. Hun clearly started the exchanges that have led to now.  I'm not afraid to admit the error was on our part, one I tried to correct, but some people do have issues with impulse.

As per my dear friends, Mr. Reese and Mr. Stubing, I appreciate them stepping up for Mr. Hun even though it was something he was clearly in the wrong over.  That is why they are my Underbosses.  As Mr. Hunt said, we protect our own.  Now Mr. Reese has had some unfortunate words thrown at him lately from other cities and his nerves are a bit raw, so I imagine I will need to make us some tea tonight to calm him down.  Poor fellow. 

What I will say is this... Priscilla, if you take shots at establishments, businesses, or members from my city again, you had better do better than, "I don't remember caring" if you are asked for clarification on what you jot down.  When you start a publication you assume the honus of sticking by what you write and not acting like a snot.  Show your research, back up your opinions, do not be weak and give a brush-off answer.  I have a city to run, and I can't be bothered to continually come out to these streets to cite things for you.  If your only goal is to be inflammatory for the sake of it, that is not journalism, that is poor judgment and a horrible reflection on your city.

Such a shame that Priscilla's hard work she has put into this newspaper is being over-shadowed by senseless tit-for-tat. We should be glad we have (had) a variety of papers on our streets. Instead of arguing with competition, embrace it. Let the competition be the catalyst to drive you on and make you more determined to write an even better paper.

Seeing crewleaders out here arguing over a newspaper is quite pathetic in my honest opinion. Defending your members is quite rightly what you should do but slating other cities people and hard effort they put in to bring papers to our streets is a shame.

On a side note, I very much like reading this paper, more than any others I have seen anyway. This is why I placed advertisements here. Keep up the good work Priscilla.

Whats upset me more than anything is the lack of interest in me. I spilled my beans out, worts and all and yet still knobody wants to know.
