Forgetting all about the date, Belle rushed to the church. She flung the doors wide open, only to discover the ceremony had already ended. Oh, man. I hope SuperSao isn't too mad at me, as I was supposed to be his groomsman. Belle sees that mostly everyone is still gathered around discussing what they had just witnessed. She finds SuperSao and his new bride and rushes over to them. I'm SO sorry, to the both of you. I was away on business and planned on being back on time. I thought tomorrow was the wedding date. I can't express my apologies on missing your sacred event. |

After the ceremony that was... amusing to say the least, Oliver had taken to standing near the back of the Church. He watched with narrowed eyes as all the patrons walked over to the new 'bride' and 'groom', wishing them well and heaping their blessings upon the couple for a long and happy future. While he was happy to see his two friends and associates tie the knot, the entire celebration was starting to create a bitter feeling within Ollie's chest. The man, who so desperately hated to be alone, realized he would never have anyone else for him in his life. His 'occupation' would see to it that he would never find the happiness that SuperSao and The_Fallen had found with each other. He had only been married once before, a union that did not last long before he left the woman, a childhood friend from the neighborhood, behind for the life of glamour and crime. And though things had not worked out with her, the blue-eyed man still craved that sort of companionship. Only once since then had he felt something close to that... but alas that had ended with a bullet to the head and the demise of a great Las Vegas Mob Boss. Ah! Oliver exclaimed when Jordan approached him from across the Church. A grin spread across his face when she mentioned leaving, and he could not help but chuckle when the woman dashed from the building without another word. 'Even after all this time the thought of marriage still makes her jumpy,' he thought with a tiny shake of his head. He hesitated for a moment, wanting to go bestow his congratulations upon the couple, but after a moment turned and walked out of the building after her. She was just outside the doors when he caught up to her. Reaching into his coat pocket he pulled out a cigarette and a match, and with a flourish and tiny spark of fire lit it. That was something. It was all he could say about the entire production. Glancing over at his best friend's love, he smiled once more and said. Let's bolt. I've got a job we can do instead of hitting the reception. I left the present there anyway, so it's not like I have to go. And without another word he started off down the street, talking off Jordan's ear and being followed closely by a huge, lumbering Bodyguard by the name of Juan Hernandez. |
