Oh man that's a hard one. I love the mountains and find my greatest peace being there but the mosquitos can go fuck themselves. The beach on the other hand, is just as relaxing and enjoyable and I begged to go to the beach for my birthday this year rather than receiving presents. Monterey, Carmel, San Simeon, Moonstone Beach, Cambria...I could live there. |

I'd like to vacation at the beach and live in the mountains. mountains are my preferred long term climate, but the beach is fun for a short while |

Tough question. Right now, probably beaches. I live in the mountains and I love it, but I have a VW Bus that does terrible in the mountains and does great at the beach. |

| I would say beaches, my favorite would have to be anything along the Oregon coast. Even though the water is cold, it's rarely crowded! California beaches, I've only been to them once but it was horribly crowded. I have been to a beach in Mexico as well, that was cool... There were gold flecks in the water. :) Anyway, beaches anywhere that's not too crowded. Haven't tried the East coast beaches. :) | |

Gotta say mountains, mainly cause they got nice view and no silly sand. |

What if you had a beach in the mountains??? But when it comes to culture I’ll take the mountains any day of the week. |

I like both, really, since both mountains and beaches are pretty places. I'm not a big fan of the sand though :( |

I live in the Santa Cruz mountains with the beach about 28 miles away. Love it up here, rarely go to the beach. |

I prefer mountains. Mountains are majestic and look pretty in the distance. They are fun to explore. Beaches are nice but too warm. |

Time to find your own place, that place you feel safe, and can think. That place that helps you find your inner peace! |
