I am not sure how anyone but a civvie would experience what I have today. I am listening to guy from NY talking about ass hats and idiocy among made men. Being a rather long speech, and a nicely reasoned debate, it took some time. I get back to business to see a line of New Yorkers soliciting me. Six of them. And you are right Gideon, I shouldn't judge an entire city on one guy. Which is why I felt the three piss poor attempts and one unsolicited invite were more indicative of the city than the two properly done in character approaches were. Still, six guys? It's amusing to see what letting free reign on member whoring does - back when there was a ban on it, the argument from the Gods was that new members to the shore would receive absolutely zero contact from us. Now, it seems that they're overly bombarded from the eight cities attempting to stay competitive by almost going so far as having to impress them to join their crew, as opposed to the traditional opposite.
