'd like to touch upon the main point of this subject as it happens, it's something thats been bothering me for awhile.

Now, I don't claim to know as much as I once did because although my father 'lived' on these shores he spents most of his time in the old country, as did I. Alots changed in the 14 months i've been away.

I have to say, I agree with 22point5millions main point, now i'm not pointing fingers anywhere, but i'd like to ask a question.

Have standards really slipped into entering a crew, with the hope of one day maybe even let into the Family. Because like 22point5million is trying to say, there was a time when whoring was frowned upon, I'm sure leaders, or I like to believe leaders do still frown upon it. I mean who wants any old tom dick or lucy in there crew.

So my question is, Have standards really been lowered, as finding a home become a simple thing to achieve?

I don't want to personally approach people and ask to join, My family line was taught differently along time ago, Old habits die hard. If you want to be apart of what we are. YOU come to us, we don't come to you.

Have standards slipped? or am I old school and need re-educating. I'd just like to hear what the common man thinks on this subject.

This is obviously a fairly old debate, and there is definitely a fine line between what is member whoring and what is approaching new associates to this shore and offering them help and protection.  I certainly don't want to give any validity to anything that 22point5 said or feel like this asshat has sparked any intellectual debate, but I feel that Dominik offering someone a loan and direction on how to make a profit in this world is far from sending them an invite and saying "Hey you should join my family.  Its Awesome!!"

That being said the Andolini family is awesome, and Im quite happy you didnt accept his invite.  The irony of course in this situation is that Dominik was probably trying to get you to join for protection...  and after calling for the death of our entire family and anyone associated with us...  Protection is exactly what youll need.
