There are two schools of thought about this issue: Those who are all about recruiting every fresh face that hits our shores, and those of us who absolutely refuse to do it.

I am a leader who refuses to member whore, the only time Ill speak to a fresh face on the docks is if I'm 100% sure that I knew his or her father or mother. Thats just how I operate. I believe it to be bad buisness for a crew leader to basically be begging members to join his or her crew.

There is merit to those who 'member whore'. Either you reap the benifits of some extra cash, you find an occasional diamond in the rough, or someone ends up with another notch on their kill belt. I'm not going to knock them for it, but I just dont share their beliefs in this process.

To this thug, running his mouth about my city, you've accomplished nothing here. Everyone from the Godfathers, to the fresh faces arriving daily know that people are begging members to join. This isnt breaking news and this situation isnt going to end soon. I'm glad you put forward time for this little speech, it showcases you as a trouble maker. Good luck to you kid, I really believe you're going to need it.

You don't bring shit like this to the streets (you cry about realism....well fucking use it idiot.). It's truly a shame that you're alive and able to defend your actions as I speak. Pleading for the takedown of anyone in the streets should get you shot before you finish the sentence.

As for everyones elses opinion that actually makes a shit of difference. Even as a CL I still try and get in touch with every -48....I'd rather see someone taking part somewhere then wind up as a dead body. I've done it since I've hit Made way back when....I enjoy helping people. (my "associate" success rate is far....far above most...because I put in time.)

I don't "whore"  (which is a loose definition around here)....I try to speak and explain. 90% of the time I let them know if they have any questions I'm here to help up until they find a family...that becomes someone elses responsibility then. You hardly ever get a chance to actually talk to someone (either they're disrespectufl fucks who don't respond because they already have a predetermined family...or they get snatched up with a quickness (more power to whoever got them...could care less).). I don't send out messages with the sole purpose of recruiting.

I will not yammer on for too long about a subject that has played itself out by far already. I have tried to hold my tongue and it may serve as unwise to go against that first instinct. However, i've never once in my life been very good at it anyway so why let it now. My puspose of speaking goes slightly past the whole subject here. My thing is this:

You spoke ill of my family because of an ordeal that involved an INDIVIDUAL FROM my family yet addressed us as a whole. You feel as if he whored you. I am not one to say that you cannot be entitled to your opinion. Whether or not your opinion is right is another story whom alot of people obviously have opposing views on. I will not speak on it. You addressed a whole family; my family. Whether or not Dominik was right or wrong for what he did is up to my Boss. It may be frowned upon by some, and for others, they could not care less. As a sponsor, you are given the resposibility of trying to bring in people that you feel your CL would be happy with without having to consult him or her first. Someone that you believe can contribute a good deal to your family. Just because the sponsor messages first does not necessarily mean that they are whoring in my opinion.

Back to what I was saying, if anyone is going to go to Dominik and tell him that what he did was right or wrong, will be my Boss. If you didn't like it, you should have reminded yourself that you were not obligated to ever speak to Dominik again. You decided to take things to a much larger scale. This is the fuckin mafia and you come out here with no family to back YOU up and gather the attention of many mobsters that could clip you if they were blind. Before you address my family as a whole again, here's a little something for you to know about it. My Boss is a wonderful CL. Many besides those who are in my family will certainly agree. If there is one thing that I am 100% sure of is that my Boss would rather have twenty members that he could count on to live and die for us than fifty half-ass no name c's. Dominik knew what he was doing when he contacted you. I am sure he is regretful he did. Not because he feels he was wrong, but because he made a generous gesture for you to spit in his face with an accusation including you taking things out of context and proportion. You disrespected my family, little guy. I am sure you have come to grips with the fact that you will not live past your time as a thug. If not, - well, yeah who cares. If noone clips you by the next time I take the time to sniff you out, I can assure you that your big mouth will not go unpunished. Like someone mentioned earlier, just go ahead and suicide that way it noone has to worry about witnesses. Have a horrible rest of your life.

You know why people do this right? To publically shame the lazy individual involved.. you can paint it anyway you want to, to justify their actions, but at the end of the day your everday tom and dick realize's that its member whoring.

Dominik had other issues.  I can assure you this loud mouth idiot had nothing to do with his retirement.  I've refrained from entering this conversation because I don't have to justify my actions or the actions of my men to this turd.  I will say this, my sponsors know I'd rather have 20 good, solid men that I know I can depend on rather then 60 half assed mobsters.  Each of them prior to getting the privilege of becoming a sponsor is told IF they wish to recruit they are to talk to the potential associate to find out if they are a good fit for ACF prior to sending an invite.  They are NOT to send blind invites or the wore-out "Hey wanna join my gang" or any variation of it.  Dominik was on the bubble, but he was still within my parameter.
