Interesting postulation, Mr. Ortiz, my haymisher mensch. However, I ask, can one truly be called a leader if he (or in this case) she takes orders from and follows the given direction of another? Is it truly leading if your 'leadership' is only contingent on other people wanting you there? It seems that the others would be the ones actually leading, and he (or she) who is 'authed' would be merely a tool for their utilization. It takes a bit of chutzpah to be an independent leader around here. |

Well Mazel_Tov_Mankewitz - In our world and our line of work we live by the ideals of Respect and power. Are you a tool if you get authed and have to answer to someone else? In our world no... because most of the time thats the "proper and respecful" way to do things. Sometimes people go out on their own and do fine and still earn respect and be a good leader - but overall I think you need to go through the proper steps if you wish to remain alive and have a prosperous future as a leader. |
