The flight over from England was nothing short of absolute hell, the very definition of the word if you were to ask Integra. Not only were there storms in the area that caused mass amounts of turbulence, but the takeoff had been incredibly rough. She was regretting the decision to come over this way, and wondered if a boat would have been nicer. In fact, she was sure a boat would have been nicer, longer definitely, but probably nicer. She groaned at the memory of the flight, recalling how she had wanted to kiss the ground when they had finally landed.

At least now they were in a decent hotel room with what money they had left, knowing they still needed to find out where the graveyard this name they were given was located in. It felt so weird being in a new country, not knowing anyone or how anything here worked. Sighing softly Integra laid back on the bed, closing her eyes as she laid an arm over her eyes, blocking out the evening sun. There were still quite a few hours until the cover of night would allow them to wander out into the streets of Philadelphia to look for this cemetery that they needed.

“Alucard, please tell me we’ve found where that damn cemetery is. I don’t want to waste the entire night trying to find this place.”

She sat up, leaning back on her elbows, glancing around as she noticed that the man wasn’t even in the room. When the fuck had he even left? Groaning again she forced herself to get up and take a shower, wanting to get into something a tad more comfortable. Not to mention the hot water would help her sore muscles from sitting tensely in an airplane from London to Philadelphia.

Stripping down in the bath and stepping under the water, Integra grimaced as she soon realized the water was luck warm at best, if this coldish water could be considered luke-warm. Sighing in defeat she showered quickly before dressing in black pants, and a dark colored blouse, leaning over as she started to dry her hair. She paused as she heard a door open and close, moving as quietly as she could to the sink where she had her Colt M1911 sitting, unsure if it was friend or foe who had entered. She put her back against the wall by the door, having cocked the gun, holding it at the ready.

“Alucard, is that you?”

Alucard had noticed that Integra had dozed off as she laid back in the bed.  He wasn’t as exhausted as he would have expected for how much he hated being on that plane.  To calm his nerves he decided to head down to the hotel bar and pick himself up a bottle of wine and Integra a bottle of whiskey for when she woke.   He knew he wasn’t gone more than about 20 minutes, but if Integra woke and he wasn’t there he knew she’d start to worry that he’d gone off for a walk or something.

Alucard tried his best to open and close the door quietly, but when he heard his master’s voice questioning him, he knew he was at least in a bit of trouble.   Quick thinking he decided to yell back,  “Integra you wouldn’t believe this pig piss they call wine!  Its fucking disgusting, so, of course, I bought a bottle of it!  Don’t be mad, I got you whiskey too!  See I was thoughtful!”

Alucard looked around the room, “Where are you woman?!  I talked to the bartender downstairs.  That cemetery we want is in Old City District!”

He walked towards the bathroom, and opened the door, “You in here?  Did you hear me?  I have whiskey…” He cut himself short as he found Integra standing in the bathroom with her colt aimed right at him.

Integra held her breathe, breathing as quietly as she could through her mouth instead of her nose. She could hear the voice speaking after it had entered the room, causing the blonde woman to close her eyes as she focused on the sounds of the footsteps. One could never be too careful, and with being in a brand new city and having woken up to find her best friend not in the room.

She could hear him asking where she was, which was when she had replied back, asking if that was him, trying to verify if this voice she heard was indeed the man she cared for deeply. Hearing the steps get closer, she aimed the Colt M1911 towards the door, sapphire blue eyes never looking away from the open doorway next to her as she awaited, ready to shoot whoever walked through. She was used to protecting herself, and it seemed being in an unfamiliar place had put her very on edge.

She was close to pulling the trigger when she recognized the tall man that walked through the doorway, cursing as she aborted shooting, thanking whomever that the gun didn’t go off as she sighed heavily.

“God dammit Alucard…. Where the hell did you go!”

It was clear by the cold eyes that were glaring at the man that she was annoyed he’d left the room, wondering if he’d gone on one of his many troublesome ‘walks’. She could never seem to stay mad at him though, especially when she eyes the whiskey bottle in his head.

“Where did you get those…”

Her voice was soft as she went to lean past him, carefully setting down the gun before resuming the activity of drying her long hair that was now starting to curl slightly. God help them if he’d robbed a liquor store, they hadn’t been in town very long and were low on money already… they didn’t need one or both of them to end up in jail...

His amber eyes followed her as she leaned in past him to set her Colt back down,  and a gentle smile passed across his lips.  For that very brief moment, he enjoyed just being near her.  It didn’t take long before the smile gave way to a mischievous grin. As he took a bottle in each hand and gently shook them at her, he playfully asked, “You mean these?  Oh, I charmed the pants off the bartender downstairs and he gave them to me. No, seriously I have his pants right here!”  Alucard laughed as he motioned to the pair of pants draped over his arm.

He could see Integra’s disgusted look and he laughed, “Shush now, no need to be jealous.  Nothing happened.  You know I can charm the pants off a nun.”

Integra groaned, “Nuns don’t even wear pants.”

With a broad smile and a playfulness to his tone, he replied, “And now you know why they don’t.”

He opened the bottle and poured some whiskey into a tumbler for Integra, “I did talk to the bartender a bit. He says Laurel Hill Cemetery is in Old City District.  Says its a pretty fancy place and will be easy to spot.  He told me it has a fucking, gift shop if you can believe that. Like hey, you just buried your nan, how about a keychain?!”  And he laughed at the very thought. “Its something I have to see.”

Getting his mind focused back on the task at hand he looks to Integra, handing her the glass, “We don’t have any idea where the plot is though, just a name right?  What do you think of heading over there in the morning to go find our dearly departed uncle?”

Integra could feel his eyes following her as she reached past him to put her gun on the counter, having made sure it wouldn’t go off or waste a bullet. She listened to his words before raising an eyebrow as she stepped back from him and continued drying her long hair, scowling a bit. Her own brilliant Sapphire eyes going between the alcohol in his hands and the pants on his arm. She never quite understood how he was able to charm people so well, but it was certainly a useful skill for where they currently were. She had no doubt in her mind he would definitely use this to his advantage to if given the chance.

Hearing Alucard mention that she knew he could charm the pants off of a nun, she scowled slightly.

“Nuns don’t even wear pants, Alucard.”

His reply was one that extracted a groan from the woman as she threw the damp towel at his head, moving to walk past him as she’d finished drying her long hair as best she could. Sliding past him as she moved to dig through her bag for a brush before starting the annoying task of brushing her long hair. Sometimes she thought about cutting it short, but she was so used to this length, that cutting it would probably throw her off.

“It has a what…”

She swore he was being smart with her, but when she glanced towards him, he didn’t seem to be joking either, as his chuckle echoed around her. Shaking her heads she groaned softly.

“What the hell is this place.. You’ve got to be kidding me… What kind of cemetery has a gift shop?!”

Running a hand through her hair and setting aside the brush, the tall blonde stood up before going to take the drink that he’d poured for her. “Correct... We just have the name, Xavier Akins.” She took a sip of the whiskey, wincing slightly at the task. “What in the hell kind of drinks to they make over here… Should have brought some stock from England at this rate…” She took another swig of the liquor before setting down the glass and walking over to a table where a small cigar case was, pulling out the Henri Wintermans cigar, cutting the end off before lighting it. Taking in a breath before releasing the smoke.

“Let’s head out in the morning to find dear, old uncle. Before we dig him up..” As she spoke the word uncle, there was a bit of resentment in the word, seeing as the last uncle she dealt with had tried to murder her and sell her off to a sex ring..

Alucard had caught the damp towel that was thrown at his face, and he took in the faint scent of cinnamon, lavender, and vanilla.  Before taking it to the bathroom to hang it back up to dry again.   He walked out just in time to see the look on Integra’s face when she took a drink of the whiskey, and he chuckled to himself.  “If you think that’s bad, you should try this piss they call wine.”

He walked towards the counter that had his wine, and he poured himself a glass of it. Listening to Integra, “Right, good old Xavier.  Cambridge professor come to teach the Yankee kids at Princeton…  Any idea how good old Uncle Xavier found his way to Phila…”

The moment he heard and sensed the change in her tone he walked up behind her, his arms he wrapped around her.  “If you want I can sock him one before we close him back up, ya know, for good measure.”  He joked as he hugged her tight.   Alucard took a step back as he downed his wine. Still in his charcoal gray suit, he plopped himself back down on the bed.

Report Post Tip

Integra was silent as she quietly breathed in the cigar smoke before exhaling it, before picking up the glass of whiskey and polishing off the glass. It wasn’t nearly as refined as the stuff back in England, it was more brash and almost wild tasting, chuckling softly to herself at the thought of what it reminded her off. Or rather, whom. She heard Alucard hang up the towel as her arms crossed in front of her chest loosely, glancing towards the window as she seemed to get lost in her own thought after the short bringing up of Uncles. It was a topic she was would much rather never bring up. She regretted pulling Alucard off the bastard the first time something had gone wrong, and because of that… she opened herself to be harmed again.

“I think I’ll stick with the Whiskey. You know I don’t like wine… it’s too….refined for my tastes. I prefer my whiskey brash and wild…”

She didn’t move as she felt his arms wrap around her in a tight hug, but her body relaxing a bit as she breathed in his scent of an earthy gunpowder smell and petrichor. It reminded her of walks through the woods after a rainstorm and was something that always seemed to help her relax.

She took another drag from her cigar, pulling it from her lips, exhaling as her body relaxed more, her sapphire eyes closing as she calmed down, feeling him pull away from her before the sounds of him plopping down on the bed hit her ears. Turning to glance at him as she walked over to an ashtray, flicking off the end of the cigar as she watched him, leaning up against the wall, her eyes staring at him for a bit. Taking another drag from the cigar and exhaling.

“So… how are we getting there in the morning, any ideas? Or are you going to try for your usual.. Just go with it method?” She gave him a bit of a look, trying to judge his reaction as she kept her distance. This man had been with her every step of the way for about fifteen years and she couldn’t quite imagine doing anything without him at her side. Damn men and making things complicated...

Report Post Tip

Sitting up in bed, with his back to the headboard, Alucard turned his head to look behind him,  “What is there a floating head behind me or something?  Why are you staring?” his tone was playful, but his brilliant amber eyes questioning.

Taking a look at the wine glass he had carried with him sitting empty on the nightstand at the side of the bed, he let out a sigh wondering to himself why he didn’t fill it before he crashed onto the bed.  “So, how WILL we get to the cemetery in the morning?” he threw the question back at Integra, as a way for him to think out loud. “Well you know, we could always just, go for a walk,” he said,  grinning as he eyed Integra for her reaction.

Integra shot him a glare as she took another hit of her cigar. Exhaling as she spoke sharply to him. “No.”

Alucard laughed loudly as he knew the exact response he’d get, and her reaction humored him so.  “A taxi would be the easiest way I would think, lord knows I don’t want to go driving on these backward ass roadways. Hey if you’re worried about cost, I’m sure I could get the ride for free.” He added, winking at her.

Integra blinked for a moment as she glanced towards Alucard, coming to herself as she raised an eyebrow at him. “What am I not allowed my own thoughts?” She shifted her weight from one foot and to the other, flicking out pieces of ash into the ashtray again before taking one last drag from the cigar and stubbing it out, slowly exhaling the last bit of smoke.

She listened to him as he all but insinuated that she needed to come up with a plan on how they would travel to the cemetery in Old City District, Philadelphia. She was about to mention something when she heard him bring up that they could just… go for a walk.

“No. We most certainly will not be going for a walk… I don’t need you getting distracted, Allie…” She gave him a sharp look as she grabbed both of their empty glasses and heading to the…. Somewhat of a kitchen that was in this building. It really wasn’t the greatest but it should be fine for now. At least until they got more money flowing in.

“Are you done? Or do you plan to drink more of that Piss water?” She still couldn’t quite grasp her mind around the fact that the alcohol here didn’t taste all that great. Or maybe she was just too use to high-end things, and now that she couldn’t obtain them, she was getting her first taste into … stranger things.

“I’m sure you could charm the pants off the taxi driver… though I would prefer they kept their pants on… so how about we see how much they would charge us… and then when we need an actual vehicle to get there at night, you can charm them to your bloody heart’s desire.”

Report Post Tip

He relaxed a bit more, his hands resting behind his head he debated on if he actually wanted more of the wine or not.  “I planned on having more of that very fine pigs piss these yanks call wine, but I am not sure it is worth the effort to get out of bed to drink more of that swill.”

He collected his thoughts for a moment, and said, “SO  our plan for tomorrow thus far is. PAY for a cab” With an emphasis on pay and a slight rolling of his eyes as he says the word, “Find good old Uncle Xavier.  THEN we go to a car lot and I get to charm the dealer into giving you the car of your choice?  Drive the car, rob the grave, then come back and drink more piss water?”

His eyes watched her as he sat up, swinging his legs off the side of the bed, still debating about whether he really wanted more of that wine or not.  All he knew for sure was that he couldn’t wait until they had the funds to import in some of better stock from England.   Her earlier question flashed into his head about her not being allowed her own thoughts, and he asked randomly as a too late afterthought, “Since when have you kept your thoughts to yourself?”

Report Post Tip

She paused in her walk towards the kitchen, glancing towards him. “Don’t tell me you are going to keep drinking that wine when you seem to hate it so.” She shook her head a bit as she put his wine glass on the counter and her whiskey glass in the actual sink. She definitely couldn’t wait to import the better stuff from England…

“Idiot… you do realize I asked if you were done, I would of poured you more of that rotten grape juice you enjoy so much…” She was sure she understood his like of the wine as much as he understood her like of whiskey. It was strange but it’s not like she could force him to like something else. Mentally shrugging a bit she moved to sit in the chair by the table, listening to his plan for the morning as she couldn’t help but chuckle, shaking her head.

“That could work… though I don’t know about drinking more piss water, that sounds like your type of plan. And that’s if everything goes smoothly tomorrow. If we find Xavier’s grave, then we need to make sure we have a car, shovels and well… one of us is going to have to keep watch while the other digs... The question is, should you keep an eye out, or shall I?” She honestly didn’t care either way, but it was something they needed to have down.

“If we don’t get caught and can cover our tracks until we get back here, then fine, we can drink piss water if that’s what you wish to do so badly. I at least want to make sure we aren’t drunk should something go down…”

She frowned a bit as she leaned on the hallway before standing up and slipping off her boots, taking to walking barefoot in the room for the rest of the night. She glanced up at him again as she heard him question when she ever kept her thoughts to herself. She couldn’t help but grin mischievously as she watched him. “Wouldn’t you like to know. I’m sure it’s as often as you keep your own thoughts to yourself. Am i right?”

Report Post Tip

“Well, of course, I’m going to keep drinking it, if this is all I’m gonna have for a while, I may as well get used to it, right?”  He stood up, and walked over grabbing his glass and heading towards the bottle of Moscato. “But I guess that’s an idiot’s logic, eh Tegs?”   He joked as he poured himself another glass.

Taking the glass off the counter he quietly sipped on the drink, he walked around her once, “Are you REALLY asking which one of us is going to dig?  Seriously?”  A sarcastic emphasis on the word really, and he couldn’t help but start laughing.  “Oh Integra dear you could never climb yourself outta that six-foot hole if you dug it, it has to be me, can’t you see that?”   He stopped in front of her, a broad smile across his face as he looked down at her and the fact her head only came up to his shoulder.

“And what do you mean make sure we aren’t drunk?  What’s the fun if we aren’t drunk?  If we’re not caught, it’s a means to CEL-E-BRATE.”  He said once again downing the rest of the Moscato, it was pretty bad, and drinking it fast was truly the only way to drink it.    He put his glass down in the sink next to whiskey glass.

He came back around, and once again stood in front of her, jovially saying, “I would like to know, that’s why I said it in the first place.  Keep my thoughts to myself? You know if my mind thinks it my mouth spews it out.”

Report Post Tip

She couldn’t help but feel her eye twitch slightly at the name he called her. She hated that name and he damn well knew that too. Picking up the closest thing to her, which happened to be a Bible, Integra glared daggers at the male before chucking the book at the back of his head.

“Fuck you, Alucard! You promised to lay off that nickname…” She spoke harshly at him as she walked up to him just as he walked up to her, standing as tall as she could make herself, her head tilted back slightly as she glared at him.

“As for digging… my height shouldn’t matter, what would matter is who can keep a better eye out and catch things. We both know you see better at night than I do.” She crossed her arms in front of her as she continued to try and size up against him, he might be taller, but she knew a way to get him down to her level real quick.

“You know exactly what I mean Alucard. Until we are sure we are in the clear, no getting drunk… we barely know this place and I’d need you at the top of your game if we have to make a run for it.”  Her eyes softened a bit as she watched him, knowing that there was no guarantee this would go off without a hitch, and she’d be damned if she allowed him to end up in jail…

Hearing him mention thoughts again, she raised an eyebrow as she gave him a look before turning from him and moving to glance out one of the windows, needing space from him as she found that his scent of earthy gunpowder and petrichor was getting to her, damn him and smelling so good, knowing her cheeks were probably a bit warm from the closeness. “You sure about that? I’m pretty sure i’ve caught you gazing off into nothing and you look deep in thought, but you’ve never shared what those thoughts were… So you sure on that one… Alucard.” She was watching him from over her shoulder, eyeing him from where she stood, curious as to how he would defend himself there.

Report Post Tip

As he reached for the glass of Moscato, he felt the sudden impact of the book striking the back of his head causing him to stumble forward, knocking the glass to the floor and shattering it.  “WHAT THE FUCK TEGS!”   He shouted at first, “You made me spill my piss water!”

He grabbed the broom and dustpan and cleaned up the shattered remains of his wine glass from the floor.   “Mother fucker!”  he cursed to himself as he sliced his finger when he ran his hand over the floor trying to make sure he got the shards so none would wind up in one of their feet.   He sucked on his cut finger as he walked to the kitchen,  then dumped the glass into the trash can, and ran his finger under the faucet for a second ripping a towel and wrapping it around his cut.

He walked back out with another glass in hand, lifted it towards the woman and said with a wink “Let's not break this one, shall we?”  He poured the glass and headed back towards her. “You’re height does matter, because I can’t keep watch if I’m on the ground trying to lift you out of the pit.”

He could see the concern on her face as her eyes softened when she spoke, “Look, it’s going to be alright. The drink will go up, right now.  I don’t know how things will turn out, I just know they’re going to be alright in the end.  We’ll make things work, we always do.”  He spoke, his voice soft but confident.

After walking back out from placing his glass back in the kitchen, he could tell Integra was watching him from over her shoulder, waiting for his reply about his thoughts.   He laughed to himself, and smiled, “Ah, you got me. I must admit.  Not every thought that enters my head, leaves my lips.  But I am fairly certain I would get more books thrown at my head if I was always asking you questions like, ‘Why do we say our noses run while our feet smell?’”

If there had been another book within her reach, one could damn well put their money down on the fact she would of lobbed it at the back of his head. “Lucy! What did we just state! Stop with that name! Now!” She glared daggers at his back, watching him for a few moments before going over to the window, looking back when he made the comment to not break his current glass.

“If you weren’t such an ass, I wouldn’t of thrown the damn book, now would I?” She shook her head at his antics, finding them quite tiring at times as she shifted by the window, knowing they might as well get to sleep soon if they were going to deal with different things in the morning.

She heard his voice speak in that soft tone of his that normally worked at getting him out of trouble, because she usually fell for it, but not this time. At least that was what she told herself as she tried to ignore him. “You say that every time Alucard...you know that right.” Her voice was lowered as she sat on the edge of the bed, taking her hair and tying it upwards in a type of bun. She hated the long hair sometimes, but then there were other times when she loved it.

Hearing his reply to her mentioning his own thoughts, causing her to shake her head at him. “If you don’t want to tell me your own thoughts Alucard, then you might as well skip asking about mine… We might as well head to bed… we’ll need to get up somewhat early to make sure we have everything for robbing that grave tomorrow night.”

She grew quieter as she simply put herself into one side of the bed, curling up with her back facing his. “Goodnight Alu-..”

◆

Time Skip to Morning

◆

Integra woken as the sun poked through the curtains, groaning as she tossed her arm over her face, trying to block out the light. It wasn’t much longer after that, that the blonde seemed to give up on the idea and finally pull herself out of bed. She had a few clean clothes that she had brought over from England, changing into dark grey suit pants, a dark grey and black striped vest with a white button up shirt underneath. She was once again brushing out her hair before attempting to see if there was anything to make for breakfast after the little bit of shopping they’d done before.

Glancing over at Alucard, she move towards him to give his shoulder a shove. “Come one… it’s time to get up.”

Report Post Tip

Alucard groaned, pulling the pillow over his head as the light hit his amber eyes.  “Whoever invented mornings should be shot” he grumbled as he crawled out of bed, and walked toward the shower.  The shower was quick since the lukewarm water was not very conducive for long shower times.

“Well this is a good start” He mumbled to himself as looked around the bathroom, realizing he forgot his clothes on the end of the bed. “Nothing else to do I guess.”  He spoke to his reflection as he dried his hair, before wrapping the towel around his waist and walking himself back to their room.   He quickly dressed in another grey suit, only loosely tying his red tie around his neck.

He sauntered into the kitchen, speaking to Integra “Please tell me we at least have some bread for toast, I’m fucking starving.”  Stopping at the phone, he took a look at the woman, “What time do you want the taxi to be here to pick us up?”

Report Post Tip

Integra sighed as she shook her head at the man laying in the bed. “No one invented morning you Idiot…” She shoved him once more time before getting up and moving into the kitchen to pull out a couple of slices of bread to put into the toaster before settling at the table to play another game of Patience. She was still playing when Alucard came out of the shower, glancing up and noticing that Alucard only had a towel wrapped around his waist.

‘What the hell… why aren’t you dressed?!”She stared at him, her mouth agape slightly before forcing herself to focus on the card game she was playing. Muttering to herself how he was such a damn tease, and there was no need to not get dressed in the bathroom…

She ignored him until he was actually dressed in clothes and not showing himself off to the world. Shaking her head she glanced up as she heard him ask about food. “There’s bread in the toaster…” She got a whiff of what smelled like it was starting to burn. Cursing she bolted from her chair, knocking it over as she went towards the kitchen, opening the toaster to reveal a piece of bread that was rather burnt on one side.

“Well… that’s inedible…Dammit… where’s Walter when you need him.” She was muttering under her breath again as she pulled out the pieces of bread, cursing at how hot they were before attempting this again, frowning still. She didn’t take her eyes off the toaster as she heard Alucard ask her what time to have the taxi pick them up at. “Tell them to be here in an hour… so we can at least eat something… however long this damn thing takes…”

“I forgot my clothes on the damn bed, that’s why I’m not dressed.”  Alucard retorted right before noticing Integra’s eyes on him, and her mouth slightly agape.  A sly grin slipped across his face, “Now now Tegs, there’s no reason to stare.”   And he ducked into the bedroom quickly after saying that before she decided to toss another book at his head.

He came back out of their room, and into the kitchen.  He laughed at the burnt toast, even though he was ravenously hungry., as he walked to the phone and dialed up the operator. “Hello doll,” He said the female operator on the other end, “I’m new to the area and I am in need of a taxi, you think you can patch me through to a local taxi company here in South Philly.  Thanks so much, sweetheart.”

He waited for a few moments before a gravelly sounding man on the other end, “Whaddaya need?”  He bluntly asked.

Alucard had a tough time understanding the man, the quickness in the way he spoke made it sound like several words were just rammed together to form a single one.  He was glad all the time he spent dealing with Father Anderson of the Catholic church since it very much reminded him of the way he talked.

“Taxi will be here in an hour Integra.”  He said.  He couldn’t help but laugh yet again as he heard Integra curse about missing their old butler Walter.  “Maybe when we make it big, we can fly him over to make your toast for you again?”

Report Post Tip

Integra hadn’t realized she was staring at Alucard until she heard him call her that dreadful nickname again, she blinked and re-focused herself before glaring at him, looking for something to throw at him and coming up empty handed. “Dammit Alucard!” She grumbled before remembering the toast and going to check on it again, finding it a rather nice golden color this time.

It took almost half an hour to get a couple of pieces of bread toasted for the both of them, going through the fridge before pulling out some jam and getting some coffee going. She waited until he was off the phone before chucking the half burnt piece of bread at his head, not caring that it probably wouldn’t hurt him. “Why are you such an ass…”

She couldn’t help but try to ignore him as she got a few pieces of toast with jam on it, a mug of coffee and sitting herself down at the table before glaring at him a bit. “You know as well as I do we can’t pull Walter from the Hellsing Estate. The moment someone isn’t taking care of it those damn knights will go in and destroy everything my family worked so hard to build.”

Once she ate one of the toast she glanced towards Alucard, eyeing him slightly. “I never realized how much of a non-morning person you were… it’s quite amusing.”

Report Post Tip

The half a slice of toast smacked Alucard in the head, but he was quick to catch it as it fell. “What the hell did I do this time?!” he yawned as he spoke before munching down on the toast she had thrown at him.  He didn’t care it was burnt he was hungry.  Wandered over to the counter, pouring himself a cup of coffee and grabbing the remaining toast and bringing it to the table.   Sitting down, he knew he couldn’t argue Integra’s point of what would happen if Walter left the Hellsing family estates.

He looked up from his coffee at Integra,  “As I stated when I woke up, whoever invented mornings, needs to be shot.” He grinned at her, knowing what her reply to him would be.  “Actually I have been wondering, do we plan to just walk this cemetery until we find Xavier?  Or should we just find a groundskeeper, and see if they can point to in the direction of our dear old uncle?”

As he finished his question he heard the distinct sounds of a car honking outside their house. Alucard walked towards the window, pulling back the curtains cursing to himself as the light first hit his eyes.  After a brief moment of adjusting, that felt to Alucard like an eternity, he saw the distinct colors of a yellow checkered cab.  “Are you ready Integra?  Our chariot awaits!”
