The phone rang. Video picked it up and said hello. His groggy self was not a fan of the early mornings yet he was never one to miss a call. If that thing wasn't chained to the wall he would be chained to it. 

The other voice didn't seem to familiar. It seemed a bit muffled and hard to hear. He continued to listen in and try to think who it could be. They told him to be at the old post office building The voice on the other line then stressed how if he didn't come right at 12:00 that some consequences would take place. 

Who is this? 

The voice disappeared as the phone hung up. Video immediately dialed Water. The phone rang about ten times. No answer. He tried Tony- next again there was no answer. He couldn't figure out why they were still sleeping. Both of them were such early risers. He immediately got dressed and headed out the door. 

Thirty minutes later he walked through the door. It was empty. He drew his gun and looked around. Nothing. There was a set of stairs to his left that he decided to go up. He did not want to make too much noise so he moved slowly. Gun drawn and creeping along the wall he continued to move. He walked through the entire second floor, nothing. 

Video finally found himself on the third floor. He could hear faint conversations down the hall. He made his way to the end of the hall and listened in. Murmurings were being and his name being mentioned. Nothing to serious as it seemed people were laughing. He pushed the door open and extended his arm with the gun in his hand. Aiming down his barrel made contact with the crew leaders of Vegas. They were all gathered in a sofa area in this large room. 

What the hell!?

He lowered his gun and laughed. 

Do we have a new headquarters or something?

They all began to chuckle. Water stood up and walked over to Video and smiled. She gave him a set of keys and congratulated him. 

Video, this is your spot now. This is where your head quarters will be. She continued, I know i can trust you to build an awesome family and i know you are have worked extremely hard for this. 

Video looked at the new set of keys in his hand. His breath fell from him. He could not believe this was happening. His dream was always to be a crew leader in Vegas. This same dream was shared by his ancestors. It was the city of sin. Everyone's favorite town. Now he had a certain share in it that would only be taken by death. 

The Vegas crew leaders applauded the new move. He noticed that the hands of the five families were there as well. Spiels began to pour a glass of champagne for everyone but he called it a mimosa. Video secretly liked those girly drinks. 

I don't really know what to say. Honestly i am a little speechless. I am so thankful for this chance. 

Rafa interrupted. 

Well you're going to have to figure out what to say because in about ten minutes this place is going to be packed with people from all over the eight cities. We are going to have a party right here. 

Again the thoughts just continued to surprise him. He was going to see some of his friends he had not seen in a long while. He was definitely excited. 

A few hours went by and finally the gathered people were here. This gave him an opportunity to speak on his new role in Las Vegas. 

What is Las Vegas to me? Well i imagine it means more to me than anyone else in this room. This is the city i was actually born and raised in. I have always wanted to live. I dreamed about taking auth here one day. More than that I dreamed about bringing the greatest crew the Mob has ever seen to Las Vegas. What does it mean to me? Everything. Las Vegas is home. 

Video adjusted his tie. He turned over and looked at Water and cut the ribbon that was behind the new warehouse. 

Water is one of the great friends i have made in this city. I have earned her trust and quickly became her left hand then her right hand. Now I am her first auth in Paradise. I can not begin to explain to you the honor I have felt being asked to set up under her. Water is an extraordinarily leader one who would go to the moon and back for her members. There are many leaders like that in this community. 

There are many wonderful people here in Las Vegas and it is such an honor to be a branch of the Flooded Whispers. As i move out of my former headquarters that i resided in for the last forty four days I cant help but be grateful for all the little lessons i have learned along the way. With all that said allow me to introduce to you the newest crew in Las Vegas, The Regime.

Spiels raised his glass and then pretended to drink his "mimosa."  He actually threw it over his shoulder and then pulled out his flask and took a big swig of whiskey.  

Much better.

Video!  My friend!  Congrats to you!  This is very well deserved and very overdue.  I wish you much luck and if i can assist in any way feel free to ask.  I'll start by getting rid of these girly drinks.

Spiels smashed the champagne bottle and snapped his fingers.  With that Strider came in with cases of whiskey on a dolley.

Let the party begin!

Strider came out on cue pushing the dolly laden with whiskey bottles. He opened one of the boxes, pulled out a bottle and poured himself a glass and raised it high "Congrats Video. May you find success on your future endeavors"

He pulled Spiels aside and whispered "The strippers are in the next room as you requested, Miss_Niki will reimburse me for these expenses wont she? I had to take a small loan to arrange everything."

He watched as Spiels disappeared into the adjoining room without uttering a word. Strider poured whiskey for the guests while he wondered how his life ended up like this.

The Party was no where near as big as Video thought it was going to be. A bit surprised he decided to keep on celebrating with those that gathered. After a few moments he saw a couple of his friends speak out. He listened intently at them and decided to thank them both. 

Spiels thank you. Your undying loyalty to this city especially to your crew leader is one i am so pleased to see. You are without a doubt one of the most humorous men i have met. Thank you for celebrating with me this day.

Strider for the past month you have made your bones in this city and have certainly impressed the uppers of this city. I look forward to your continued growth and all that you will bring in the future.

Video shook their hands and smiled. He took a moment to reflect on the Journey and sit on the chair in the room. His thoughts began to circulate in his head how he was going to revamp this place. His new headquarters. 

Miss_Niki was late, story of her life, but, she was here now, and from the looks of it, Strider and Spiels had been very liberal with her liquor tab from the liquor store. No matter, Video was very deserving of every penny. The strippers however, were coming out of Strider 's paycheck. 

She walked across the room to a quiet corner where she found Video, quietly contemplating things. She smiled. "Video, my dear friend, I'm so happy to see you in your own headquarters! You deserve it so very much! You are such a good hearted man!" She handed him an envelope to help his crew along a bit. 

"Much love to you dear man!"

"Spiels, Strider - tomorrow, I expect both of you in my office, we are going to have a chat about how you both tend to spend my money so frivolously!! Strippers?????!!!" With that, Niki left with Rocco, and headed home to Summerlin.

As i walk in to Video Auth party .. see Miss_Niki and Spiels there too... go over congrats Video. Grab glass of wine went to Sit with them.

Well Kat felt just a little out of her element as she slipped into the Vegas congratulatory party.  The young woman didn't attend many of these, but making it through a life and death situation and having someone save your life seemed to change your mind about some things.  She smiled warmly to those she recognized as she quietly wandered into the party.  It was a fairly intimate one, but she could have sworn it was a fairly open invite.  Things like these typically were.  So she made herself relax.  Not a bad turn out as the evening progressed, she had to admit.  

Decked out in a ruby red sequined dress, her hair pinned up in it's fairly typical ponytail, Katherine kept to the outskirts of the party not being much of a center of attention type girl all of the time.  She smiled and just watched for a time, snagging a drink from Strider's dolly casting him a light wink of thanks before downing it.  Sliding her eyes closed, she enjoyed the liquid fire that flowed down her throat and emboldened her.  

Finally she moved quietly over to Video, tapping him lightly upon the shoulder.  She dipped her head graciously in greeting.

"Good evening Video...  Congratulations my friend, I'm overjoyed to see this..."  She hoped those were the right words to say in such a time, and she hoped he wouldn't find her audacious in her approach.  But she felt the need to add her own congratulations to this occassion.
