Kenny had just arrived in the HQ after a meet with his friend MustachePete. They were talking about the expansion of Chicago and Kenny threw a name on the table: Rain. A woman who has been with him for a long time and helped him out countless times. Kenny parked his car on the garage of the head quarters and walked towards the entrance of the HQ where Rain was playing poker with Aleks, kiddo and Tutte. Kenny approached them with a smile on his face and watched the game, trying to learn.

"So, who is winning?" Kenny asked while looking at the table, Rain opened up a smile and shrugged, of course she was winning, again. Kenny laughed then reached for his coat, he grabbed his pack of cigarettes and slipped one out, he placed the cigarette on his lips without lighting it. He nodded his head to Rain and and signaled her to follow him, she looked sad about leaving the poker game but nonetheless she got up and followed him. Kenny walked towards his office with the cigarette dangling on his lips, when he finally arrived, he opened the door and signaled Rain to walk in, she entered the office then he followed, closing the door.

"So, great news for you today." Kenny said while walking towards his desk, he grabbed a lighter that was there and lighted the cigarette, he took a drag out of it, he took a seat at the desk then place the cigarette in his fingers. "I feel better now, things are better. I don't need you anymore like I did before. It's time for you to start your own crew here in South Side."

Kenny placed his cigarette on the ashtray and went to his small bar to get a bottle of whiskey, giving time to Rain to think about the offer. He grabbed the bottle and opened it up, taking a long sip out of it then sitting back on the table.

"I wouldn't be where I am today if not for you. You've proved yourself loyal and you've been with me since the start. It's time for you to get rewarded. I trust that you're up for the task since you taught me nearly everything I know."

Kenny opened the drawer of his desk and pulled an envelope and handed it over to Rain.

"In there is what you need to get started. So.. How will you call your crew?"

Rain was sitting HQs playing a high stake poker game in a private room. 

She remembers how she got started playing poker.  As a teenager girl she would prepare and serve refreshments for her father’s poker games.   She would sit and watch them play for hours.   She watches the cards and the players and could tell by their mannerism who was buffing.   One night the dealer didn’t show up and she talked her father into letting her deal.  He was pleased with how she handled the cards so he started letting her deal more often. 

She practiced playing poker with her brother and cousin using toothpicks.  It was years later when her father actually let her sit down at a poker game because there were other ladies playing that night.   It was a good night and he realized she would definitely handle herself at the poker table and that’s where it all started.

I had just lost a good hand and thought the cards were changing for me when @KennyRusso came into the room and gave me that I need to talk to you look.   It was the ideal excuse for me to leave the table and maybe a blessing in disguise.

She signal the cashier to cash her out and followed the Bossman to his office.

They both sat down together and he passed her a drink.  She said to herself "fuck this is serious".  Then he told me the good news. 

What @KennyRusso said didn’t catch her off guard all the much.  She knew that he had been preparing her for this opportunity. 

Rain looked at @KennyRusso and spoke as sincere as she  could.

Word can’t express how I have enjoyed this journey.  I wouldn’t have wished for a better man to work for.   I just admire your dedication and commitment to building this family.

It’s an honor to accept this opportunity.

Rain thought for a few seconds.

Living in the beautiful  city of Chicago,  with distinguish  men as yourself ,  @MustachePete  and @Vincent-Valentine , I couldn’t be more proud.   To represent the family and this city I will name the crew

Roger shows up a little late to the party, he carries with him a bottle of red wine and walks up to Rain.

"Congratulations my friend, I hope you can enjoy this gift and that your future endeavours will be amazing."

He smiles as he gathers around with the rest of the crowd.

Brian quickly heard the news that Rain was setting off to start her own family, he was really sad at first but then thought to himself that he could visit all the time because the Headquarters wasn't far away. Brian took a bottle of Champagne and handed it over to Rain.

"Congratulations Rain well and truly deserved can't wait to see how well your family grows here in Chicago"

Diva walks into the party hall where everyone was celebrating Rains new crew..She holds in her hand a bottle of whiskey from her personal stash as she walks on over to Rain handing the bottle and congratulations as well..

"Congratulations Rain"

"Horray our own Rain, this deserves you with all of our hearts"

As promised Tutte stands outside the HQ and waits for his CL and wil lprotect her with his own life in any situation accured from this dat, starting now when Rain comes out with a smile on her face and tells all things settles, lest go hoem she says and Tutte follows just behind and watches around the streets to so everything was ok and it was that.

I'm sorry I am late to the party. I like to consider it fashionably late.

The truth his it takes a long time to make this stache look this good. This day I had to take extra time as one of the best of Chicago gets an opportunity to run her own piece of the pie. I couldn't be happier that she will stand with Chicago and help us build something great for all.

This is a great group we have and I expect Rain will make us all better.

Congratz!! 

Integra had heard from the whispers around that Rain was getting a place of her own today. She had never really spoken to the woman but she'd heard good things about her. She had once thought about bringing some alcohol as a gift to congratulate her on her own crew, but then her gut feeling told her she would be receiving plenty of that. Instead, Integra decided to offer something she didn't think many would. A free meal.

As she made her way up to rain she offered a soft smile.

"Congratulations on your family, Rain. I might not be good with poker, but should you ever want anyone to go drinking with, let me know. My treat."

Stefano entered the room looking at Rain with a smile the entire time.  She was busy shaking hands and talking to other powerful figures.  He looked around and spoke to the servers ensuring that they understood to keep everyones glass full and the food coming.   He would take a few glances at her here and there but today was her day to shine and he wanted nothing but the best for her.   She was the reason he joined the Russo crew and watched it grow into a family.  Now she was his Capo and he couldn't be happier for her.  When Rain finally looked at him with her smiling face he mouthed the words Congratulations Love.  She gave a small nod as she was still working the crowd and making new connections.   

KTI had finally touched down in Chicago. Upon arrival at the airport a driver was there waiting for him. KTI made haste to Kenny's HQ.

KTI was guided through the HQ to the room that everyone had gathered in. The old man saw his lifelong friend and let out a huge smile.

"Rain, how wonderful to see you again... and on such an amazing occasion. It's been a long time in the making and I am proud of you!" 

KTI extends his hand for Rain to shake.

Vincent Valentine saw Rain extremely happy, and he had to approach her. He walked up and shook her and smiled, then continued to say.

”Rain, you have worked so hard for Don Russo and the Russo Crime Family I’ve known this was coming for a long time. I’m so glad it’s finally happening and you’re setting up beside us here in South Side. You’re going to make a great addition to the leaders here in Chicago.”

Vincent then have Rain a quick hug, and smiled. “You’re gonna do great.”

Heston always late to the party had been busy making Rain a massive multi tiered chocolate celebration cake having it shipped on a private aeroplane to Chicago it had arrived safely and in one piece

Lisa walk around the corner, and see from a far Kenny and Rain entered their HQ entrance with smoke out of Kenny's cigarette blurry their back. She go directly towards the poker table where Aleks, kiddo and Tutte were playing poker. Not knowing what is going on, the poker game has ended. 

One of the player whisper.
"Rain had a good news, i can see it from Kenny face expression when he call Rain to follow him." 

Lisa replied,
"Sound's exciting! I'm glad to hear anything that makes Chicago safer and stronger, seems like we going to have a celebration today gentlemen?"
 
Lisa gather around the poker table, soon after that many other mafiosi member showed up to congratulate Rain establishment in Chicago. Lisa is a new in the arena, so she let her senior leader to wish first and later on she step forward infront of Rain and wish, "Congratulation Rain, Perhaps someday i could learn the poker trick that many admired from you in your new HQ Office. Wish you best of luck!".

After a few kiss and toss, Lisa slowly gather at the back of the party and disappear from the area for usual business. 

Word had gotten all the way to Las Vegas about the lovely Rain getting promoted to a crew leader. Miss_Niki was beyond happy for her. Rain had worked hard all her life, and actually, was a good friend of Spiels. The two played together as children, much like his father and herself. Rocco - Please make sure Miss Rain gets this telegraph from me.

Jo walked boldly into Rain's new HQ. He was on a personal mission for Books of the New York Elite. Under one arm is a tastefully wrapped gift, personally picked out by Books at Tiffany's. He sees Tutte and inquires politely as to Rain's whereabouts. After a few turns, here and there, he finds himself outside of her newly decorated office.

Madame Rain, good day to you and I am here to personally deliver Book's congratulations along with a token of her affection. Business prevents her from being here herself but she is very happy to see your hard work has paid off.

He hands Rain the  parcel and takes the seat she gestures to. Rain goes behind her own desk to take a seat. She quickly opens the gift and finds inside an elegant diamond bracelet along with a handwritten note:

Wear this gift in good health and let it remind you of the gem you truly are.

Aleks arrived to the party pretty late as always, because theres a lot of work that must be done on the streets. He nodded to his driver to wait a bit and entered the room. He had a gift to Rain, an old box of cuban cigars, once brought from Cuba itself and ofcourse flowers.

He saw Rain in the crowd, approached her and said:

"Dear Rain, heres a little gift from me.. I can´t tell you the words I feel for you.. You´re an amazing woman we have here, you deserve it all and much more. I know how good you are. Congratulations Rain. I´m happy we met."

Aleks hugged her, then kissed on a cheek and left the party. When he sat into the car, he looked at the house and smiled, he was happy about Rain.

He drove away.
