Levey smiled. "We're walking. Much easier to blend in with a crowd that way. Oh, and hopefully you don't need that six shooter I loaned you." He winked and they headed out the door. "The guy we're looking for, his name is Jermaine Gentry. He's still in the old game of pushing his smack on unsuspecting folks. Seems like his supplier isn't from Detroit, so that guy's not worried. If we can get some information about that guy out of him, all the better. If not, well, we'll have our hundred large each." He quickened his pace as soon as he dropped the number on Tamsyn and straightened his hat on his head. He tapped on his inside pocket then and turned to Tamsyn. "So for that kind of dough, you think you're willing to get the snake into a dark corner for me?" |

“Jesus Christ cowboy who the hell hired you? Anybody who has that kind of money to throw around and no one is like us is not someone we want to fuck with!” Tamsyn scurried behind her partner in crime starting to contemplate the level of trouble she was being dragged into. “These people who hired you they must be scary sons of bitches, this asshole has no idea who he crossed. OK yeah, I’ll get them into a dark corner all right. Don’t you worry about that part I’ve got it under control. There’s not a man I’ve met on the shores yet I couldn’t get into a dark room alone. You definitely picked the right partner for this job.” “How the hell did you come across a guy like that anyway? I’ve been hustling for weeks and I thought I was the luckiest girl in the world to fall in with my boss, and he’s never given me work like that!” |

Levey shrugged. "Guy came in to get a suit tailor made. Said he was getting married and wanted a new one. I told him the one he had was perfectly capable, but he insisted. One thing led to another, and we got to talking." He turned the corner onto the pier then and nodded. "Now to find the guy. Shouldn't be hard, he's still doing what he normally does." |

Tamsyn nodded and began to strut like a stray cat down the street keeping her eyes peeled for anyone who was likely carrying. She didn't know what this Jermaine Gentry looked like, but she knew the look of a criminal who was holding contraband. Weaving her way through the merchants awaiting their goods coming in through the port authority and those who are sending out, she batted her eyelashes and smiled at most everyone she saw catching a fair number of eyes. Tamsyn appreciated the attention and soaked it up. For a long while she wandered about, to and fro. Was this guy even here? And then, she saw it, an exchange. It was a handshake that was little more than the closing of a deal or introduction. It was a hand-off. "Stay close. Don't let us out of your sight. I'll get him to follow me." She gave her cowboy a wink and slid off his arm before heading off to walk past the drug dealer where she 'accidentally' dropped the lipstick she'd pulled out of her purse to reapply. Bending over suggestively right in front of the man, she picked up the lips stick, opened the tube and reapplied it carefully in front of the mirror in her compact. She smacked her lips together with a "Perfect," and then 'noticed' Jermaine appreciating her. "Well, hello there handsome... like something you see?" |

Jermaine was a man of average height, a thin build, and a face that one could forget in a crowd. He looked at the woman in front of him, and she appeared to be suggesting something to him. While he had no problem with women, it was normally not the sort who would flirt for no reason. Every woman had a price, and for most of them it was either cash, or product. "How much are we talking?" He asked simply, and fairly. No reason to beat around the bush. If she wasn't a whore, she would get insulted and probably try to hit him and walk away. If she was, then it was business, simple. |

Tamsyn looked around making sure no one was listening. Pretending to do what she was about to suggest and actually doing it... well they were worlds apart. Sure she'd taken men's money after sleeping with them and in some way that was turning tricks, she supposed, but it felt different. Negotiating sex for drugs though? That was something else entirely. "I enjoy a good party as much as the next gal." She said stepping a little closer to him. "If you've got some candy, Mister, I think I can spare you a little sugar." In a bedroom whisper, she asked him, "What's your name handsome?" |

Jermaine nodded. "I've got some spare. You don't need to know my name though. You can call me Bob for all I care, just as long as you're a paying customer." He smiled a toothy smile then, almost wolfish, but not quite as threatening as a wolf would have been in this situation. Like a dog trying to act like a wolf. There was a bit to him no doubt, but so long as Tamsyn was careful, she wouldn't be the one getting bit. Not unless she wanted to be of course. Levey watched as Tamsyn closed in on the mark. At least, he though the guy was the mark. No distinguishing features though and the accent wasn't out of the ordinary for the area either. The guy was too much of a nobody to stand out in any way. That made it harder to figure it out. Tamsyn clearly had an eye for this guy though, and the way she was moving, well, she made it hard not to have an eye for her too. Levey shook his head. "Focus meshugganah." He could hear his own mother's voice in his own then. He was missing home more than he wanted to admit. |

Tamsyn took Jermaine by the hand and lead him away from the crowds, down the street some distance towards deserted alleyways littered with refuse and debris. She finally ducked into one with her prey in tow and insisted, "Let's have a peek at this alleged payment of yours first... this ain't my first rodeo Romeo. No offense, but more than a few fellas think to take a lady on a free ride. Fool me once, shame on you; but fool me twice and, well, you know how it goes." Jermaine smirked, pulled out a small bottle of pills and rattled it. "I showed you mine... now you show me yours." He advanced on her and Tamsyn found herself against the wall. The pill pusher wasn't moving slowly at all, she had no way of knowing how far behind her Levey was. As the man's hand went up her skirt she reacted and kneed him hard pushing him away as he doubled over. Fumbling she pulled her gun out of her purse and pointed at the guy who was cradling his family jewels cussing her out softly. "You Jermaine Gentry?" She demanded. |

Jermaine Howled, and clutched at his crotch. "Fucking bitch." He growled as he reached toward his pocket, but the woman in front of him had a steady bead on him, if he moved too fast, he was gonna get shot. "Fine, yeah, what the fuck is it to you?! I don't rip folks off alright. It's a good product, it's expensive cause it's good dammit." He leaned back then against the wall behind him and put his hands up slowly so she knew he didn't mean to do anything stupid. If he could get out of this, all the better. Levey rounded the corner just in time to see Tamsyn had everything under control, or so he thought she did. That meant he could keep his gun holstered and watch the entry to the alleyway for other folks while Tamsyn took care of things. "So what do you want then?" Asked Jermaine. "Money? Drugs? Just tell me, and we can all be on our way." Levey shook his head and took out his own pistol then. "Someone wants you dead pardner. Now I could let you go, but then I and this little lady would be out a hundred large each. I don't think you've got that kind of scratch laying around. So, I think I'm going to leave it up to her, you can either come with us, and we drop you off to my employer, or, we leave you here for someone else to clean up. I'm just getting to know her myself, but hey, if it goes anything like last time Jermaine, just know that I'll meet you in hell." Levey smiled and looked to Tamsyn. |

Tamsyn thought about it a moment. Killing him would be quicker and the faster they got to a payday, the better in her opinion BUT ... dead didn't necessarily mean repeat work and anyone who could throw around $100K per person involved in the hunting of this son of a bitch, well, she wanted work from them again! "Our boss will want to meet him and something tells me that the payoff for bringing this guy in for him to deal with personally is gonna be much sweeter than money alone. That being said," She looked at Jermaine, "You're coming with us." She gave Levey a smile. "I trust you have some way to get ahold him?" |

Levey sighed and pulled a set of handcuffs out of his back pocket. "You're no fun." He lowered them down onto the man's wrists and then reached into his jacket and emptied it's contents. Only a few bottles, and a switchblade, but it was enough to keep the guy dangerous, so that was getting added to Levey's growing collection. "I don't have a car though, you want to get a cab, or do you think walking down the street with the guy like this is going to be fine?" |

When he said she was no fun she wrinkled her nose at his disapproval. Then she shook her head when he wondered what they would do to get their captive to where they were going. "No way. Cabbie would call the cops when this dumb ass lets spill how we're holding him prisoner or worse then we have another person to kill. We do things your way and we'll end up dumping a whole collection of bodies before the day is out... me, personally, I prefer to work smarter not harder. Be right back." It took a little longer than she wanted, to 'bump into' a man exiting his car and lift his car keys off him before he walked away - but it happened. A few minutes later she got into the driver's seat and started the engine with a smile. She'd seen people driving before... how hard could it be? Putting the car into drive she pulled very carefully onto the street and drove, very very slowly, to the alleyway where she put it in park and jumped out with an excited clap and a smile that was as wide as her whole face. "DID YOU SEE THAT!?!?" She said bouncing. "I DROVE A CAR!!!" |

Levey shook his head. "Don't worry Jermaine, I think I'll take over driving from here, can't have us all killed at once." He raised his voice a bi then. "Good job sweetheart. Now, Pop the trunk." As the trunk opened, Levey gestured with his pistol and Jermaine gave him a look that told him he wasn't going to go along nicely. "Alright, suit yourself." Levey lowered the pistol and pulled the trigger. Jermain's knee exploded into a mist as the man screamed out and Levey gave him a shove into the trunk, slamming the hood down onto him. "Well, I think we should get out of here. I'll drive." He smiled at Tamsyn and got into the driver's seat. He made to put the car into reverse to get out of the alleyway, but hesitated. Maybe it was how bold he was feeling having just shot a man in front of her again, maybe it was the smile she wore when she got out of the car a minute ago, maybe it was the way she bent over to pull the lever to open the trunk. Whatever the reason, Levey reached out and kissed Tamsyn then. A brief kiss, but a passionate one nonetheless. Before he could let either of them stew on the dumb, rookie move he had just pulled, he did start to move the car then. |

Tamsyn was caught off guard by the kiss, utterly. As the kiss ended and Levey went about driving as if nothing happened, Tamsyn found herself touching her lips with the tips of her fingers and despite knowing what the man beside her looked like naked... she blushed and looked out the passenger window to hide from him the smile on her face. She had no idea where they were going, but when they finally arrived she looked over to Levey and said, "You really are somethin' Cowboy." She sighed. "Thanks for bringing me along on another of your adventures." Before Levey could say something and possibly ruin the moment, Tamsyn opened the door and got out. "So... where are we? And who are we meeting with? I assume you should do all the talking so... maybe you want me to stay with the car while you go get our boss?" |

Levey looked around and then shook his head. "Nope, all friends here. This is uh... You ever heard of Mister Winchester by chance? Yeah, ah, a friend of his, well, her fiancé, he's the one who hired me. We're gonna go see her first, we can bring Jermaine though, nobody in there is gonna bat an eyelash at a guy who is missing a knee." He opened the trunk then and pulled the whimpering man out of it. "Not again, p-p-please not again, I'll do what you want I..." He shut his mouth then as Levey cocked a fist back as if to punch him. It was a wonder what one bullet could do to a man. Or a lot of pain. Once inside Levey made his way to the office of the Right Hand, and knocking on the door, entered slowly to find @AddieMoretti. "Miss Moretti, this is my associate Tamsyn, and this..." he tossed Jermaine onto the floor and closed the door... "is a man Charlie wanted me to find. Tamsyn suggested we bring him by rather than shoot him. Should I contact Charlie for payment, or...?" That's when Levey noticed Jermaine going pale as he stared up at Addie. Paler than the loss of blood would normally allow. This guy knew her. |

"Yeah, I know Mr. Winchester..." She was about to explain how but Levey continued on and before she knew it she was heading inside to an office she had a passing familiarity with. After all, she hadn't been in any trouble yet and she wasn't made so, she hadn't had many calls for being here... yet. Seeing the right hand of her crew she smiled at AddieMoretti before realizing she was staring so intently at the prisoner. "Good to see you again Ma'am." |

Levey wheeled around to look intently at Tamsyn. "Again? Ma'am? You two know each other?" He looked between both women then and realized that while he may have wanted this situation in almost any fantasy any man might have, something about it was being ruined. Sure, it was probably the whimpering husk of a man lying on the floor, but that was only a piece of it. There was something else. "You mean you're not my associate at all! You're HER associate!?" Yup, that was it. Levey was less important for not bringing Tamsyn in himself. Sometimes, even a cowboy needed an ego check. |

As Addie's eyes fell on Jermaine Gentry, she felt all the blood drain from her and her eyes grew wide in surprised. The last time she had seen this man was in Detroit. The family had just got into town and Addie was needing... she had to call it like it was... she was needing a fix. Jermaine was more than willing to fix her up with a batch. He was less than forthcoming about his shotty manufacturing process, however. The bad batch had nearly killed Addie and put her god-child and Bridgette in danger. Once the initial shock was over, a rushing flood of memories sped through her mind; the hospital, the kidnapping, the killing of Octave, and the recovery. Suddenly Addie was out of her chair and standing over Jermaine Gentry. She grabbed the man by the shirt to pick him floor enough that she pound him with her right fist. Blow after blow the woman screamed at him in blind rage as her fist pummeled his face. The commotion brought Charlie into the office and after just one look he wrapped his arms around his fiance and pulled her off the man. She managed to pull away a bit from him as she lunged back at Jermaine, but before she could completely get away, Charlie re-adjusted his hold on her. "Let go of me," she yelled at Charlie. "I am going to kill him!" |

Charlie held his grip tight and then nodded to Levey. "I told you to take care of him, not bring him by for some tea! Fuck's sake, get him out of here and I'll meet you. Keep him alive though now that he's here." He watched as Levey nodded and stammered his way out the door with his friend and Jermaine. Charlie still didn't let go of Addie. "You handled that better than I expected actually. Um, surprise!" He chuckled once, and then let go just enough to spin Addie around. "Sweetheart, I've been looking for the guy that did that to you ever since the hospital. Me and Billy both. I expected him to be dead, but since he's alive, I want to ask him maybe half a dozen questions. Do you think you can hold of on killing him till after he's talked? You're going to kill him, don't get me wrong. What he did to you? What he caused? Unspeakable. But I want to know where he got them from." He watched as the fire in Addie's eyes locked with his own and she nodded, once. He let her go then. She was going to burn that man alive. Levey watched in horror as the bright-eyed woman he came to know as Miss Moretti tore into Jermaine. He had no idea what kind of history there was, but he knew a woman scorned when he saw one. He glanced to Tamsyn then, but before he could get a bead on her Charlie was in the room and yelling orders. "...get him out of here..." All Levey needed to hear, he lunged, dodged a kick from Addie and scraped the man off the floor and out into the hallway again making for the back door. "Well Tamsyn, that got interesting quick huh?" |
