Detroit is back in business!

Well, well, it's been a few days since Marcus took down the old man, we managed to get settled in. And now it's time to celebrate! We've come up with quite some festivities and on behalf of Marcus I come here today to invite you fine mafioso to join us on Saturday the 29th of January in Detroit to participate in the activities that are organized throughout the city for everyone's leisure!
Some of the activities will start right now, those are the ones that come in the form of a competition. Others will be held on Saturday the 29th itself. Please continue to listen if you'd like to hear all about our itinerary and of course the prizes that come with the activities!

Dressing up Marcus!
Our first competition will proof to be a challenge right away, Marcus is in need of a new suit that goes with his impressive title. Now being the RH for the man and his supplier in suits, I am going to be honest with you. This is not going to be easy. Marcus is a man who knows what he wants and will not settle for anything less than that. So I am going to help you along a little bit by telling you the things that Marcus is keen on; Women. Do I need to say more? I guess I do huh? Ok, his current suit is pretty spot on if I say so myself, smoking a cigar whilst enjoying a poker game and drinking a glass of scotch. The only problem is, the suit is too young for him. Now don't get me wrong, I would never call my Godfather old but, we're aiming for something a bit more… aged, ripe if I may. Wise even! You get my drift. A very important thing that must know about the suit is that it has to be static, i.e. a suit that sparkles, like mine, is not something that would work for us. Subtle, elegant and static are the keywords that will help you to accomplish this mission.

Detroit needs a slogan!
Not so creative with images but a creative mind with words instead? Then this might be the competition for you! Detroit is in need of a slogan! Something that suits the city and the people in it. It needs to be catchy, something people will remember. There's no laid out requirement as we do not want to block your creative mind, so get crazy… Get busy!

We have found a flaw in InspectorGadgets his Unlimited skills. He is struggling getting the perfect crew crest! Soooo, we need you to come to InspectorGadgets aid! Always wanted to shine next to a genius? This is your chance! Very few requirements come with this crest. It has to have "WOMP" on it and it should be better than the current one. Wowsers!

The action league brings you….NOW jailbreaking!
McDermott is all about action, the more action the better. So he's your, more than generous , host Saturday the 29th of January from 19:00 till 22:00. Him and his crew will be filling those jails for you in Detroit. So clean out your calendar, reschedule those meetings and bring your best loaf of bread to this event. In the jail there will be a competition thread, called. "My action failed, bust me out now" Every time you get thrown into jail we're encouraging you to scribble your name on the wall, but no more than once every 10 minutes. Out of all the names we will pick one unlucky sod and he shall win our FALURE prize. NOW isn't that something?

Wingardium Leviosa!
A spell only used by the finest pickpocketeers under us. If you master this spell, people will fear for the $5000,- you're about to "lift" from their pockets! Who masters this spell the most though? Are your powers strong enough to pickpocket successfully in Detroit or will our Cave Inimicum save us from you? Time will tell! If you're interested in participating in this event you'll have from Monday 22:00 until Friday 23:59 to proof yourself. To make sure you're not going Barty Crouch on us, we need you to make directly a screenshot, a piece of parchment if I may, after each successful spellcast. This screenshot must show your success of the pickpocket, the time and your city. Naturally, only those screenshots that match the time and Detroit as a city will be eligible.

Scipita's Triviadition.
Anyone who has ever been anyone in my family and bloodline has hold a Scipita's trivia contest. Now would be the ideal time that I take over this tradition. For those who have never had the pleasure to enter one of these, you're looking at something fun! We're going to test your knowledge! On Saturday the 29th, I'm asking you to attend my newly opened Trivia bar in Detroit! Every 8 hours (08:00, 16:00 and 24:00) I'll be asking you 30 trivia questions in the bar. You're supposed to answer these 20 questions as quick as possible and submit your answer through mobmail. You've 2 hours to do this. After the 2 hours have passed I'll be calculating the results and show everyone's answers in the bar. Naturally, I will also announce the winner! Things you want to prepare for are Detroit history, acronyms, general MR knowledge, Mafia history, The Walking Death, Pictionary. Variety at it's finest! So put these times down in your calendar. Oh and, drinks are on us! Winners will be determined by speed they send in their answers and amount of answers correct.

As Marcus informed you all earlier, Detroit has a casino! Now, it has been open nearly forever since we moved but the grand opening is Saturday! So Marcus and I would like to invite you to sit down with us at the black jack table and play with us for a bit! Drinks will be served by the finest topless Detroit waitresses and for the girls a few hunks have been arranged! Other than just making a nice profit at the casino we've decided to offer you some additional prizes! From tonight 22:00 till Saturday 23:59 we encourage you to play as much as you can handle. The person who plays most games per game will win and the person who plays most of all in the casino will win!

Everything is clear i think i will spend a lot of time in Detroit during next week.

SINGER listened in as Syrup waffle began to name off all the events they would be hosting before the end of the month. Could there be any greater of a chance for someone to bring in some cash flow for his boss? SINGER didnt think so thats why he decided to take part in all that he was able to perform. As he listened intently he dreamed of swimming in the millions and enjoying the luxuries that came with it.

To say i love this is almost an understatement. This is just amazing what you all have put together here. This so well done i dont know how detroit wont be recognized as one of the best cities of our time. I will be sure to participate in all i am able too and i look forward to having a good time at the casino.

Ah yes, exciting times in Detroit! Most certainly, the city will be buzzing with happy faces eager to take their shot ... no pun intended ... at making some serious money! Let me just say that I personally will be enjoying my time in the casino with my two best friends - jack and coke! Of course the presence of beautiful ladies and high rollers does nothing short of feeding my hunger for the casino.

InspectorGadget listens intently as SyrupWaffle begins talking about the lavish Detroit festival that is nearly upon us. In particular he is focusing on the part involving his crew crest competition to make sure she gets his part correct, as she usually does. Walking from the back of the crowd he moves to the front.

This should prove to be a very good weekend for Detroit and I look forward to participating wherever I can. In particular I look forward to seeing the efforts at making his crew crest, even with the stringent requirements I am sure something excellent will emerge that will easily surpass the efforts made by myself in creating the current one. I am sure that I will be found with Tom_Doogle spending most of my time in the casino, probably more time than I should, but gambling is my one vice.

Looking up from behind a stack of books and half empty liquor bottles, Tam notices the gathering crowds.

Yes... Erm... I've been looking into the casino and it's various features. We have markers, trackers and all kinds of sophisticated wizzardry in place to ensure everyone's efforts are tracked. The whole thing promises to be an extravaganza of fun for all chosing to participate.

Standing, he casts a hand over the gathering crowd and smiles.

Indeed for all events, for all people, for our entire city! This should be one hell of a weekend!

Occasional snatches of overheard whispers and murmured rumours first alerted our hero of the goings-on in the city of Detroit. Spuff knew something was going down, that much was certain, but he'd been on hiatus for the last couple of days and his finger was not as on-the-pulse as he would have liked.

A flyer glued to the pavement by dirt and rain found itself being lifted by a sudden change in the wind. Haphazardly performing it's airborne dance, it flew straight at his head before Spuff had realised what was occuring. Peeling it gingerly from his face, more than a touch of annoyance colouring his features, he was about to discard it when the text caught the corner of his eye. Lo and behold, it was an advertisement for the very festival he'd been pondering! Scanning quickly through the various events, he smiled to himself and stuffed the flyer insie his inner coat pocket.

Rest assured lads, I'll be there. Wine, women and song are always a welcome relief from the drudgery of everyday autonomy. Doubtless you'll see me fending off that rascal Bubba at some point on Saturday evening, but that's just a little treat for the weekend really, isn't it? He and I see too little of one another these days, and I look forward to remedying that.
