Casually walking along the streets, Nikki’s peace time is suddenly interrupted by a frantic Tammy rushing out of her bakery shop screaming for help. Something about yeast grains? She was on her way to see a client but Nikki had all her priorities mixed up in that moment so she jogged over to Tammy, losing her breath and red-faced. “What the hell?” Nikki tilted her head confused. “Oh,” she finally said nonchalantly as she walked into the shop and looked at the mess on the floor. Nikki saw other baking equipment on the counter, and she assumed that Tammy was making a cake for a special occasion. Unlucky to have this happen on this day. Nikki decided to search in Tammy’s storage room. She yelled out from inside as she picked up a container, “you have another one over here...” |

Frank-Pierce drove his ambulance up and saw Tammy frantically running around.
Now, Frank loved to help people. This is why he signed up for his noble paramedic career. He pulled over to the side and put on the secondaries as he walked into the bakery to see what he could do.
Instantly, he noted a bunch of white powder on the ground. He thought he heard it was Yeast, and sugar, and flour - but all he could think about was how he was raging for cocaine. He quick rolled up a five dollar bill and cut a few lines with his library card and snorted some in. |

Larry hated seeing his good friend Tammy at sixes and sevens. The mess on the floor was terrible. He stopped bouncing his ball for a second and offered to help with a dustpan and brush. There were people running in and doing all sorts on the floor, it was a strange time indeed. He sat and watched the chaos. He wondered what his good friend and mentor (ish) PaulGeorge would make of all this. Would he have a pithy saying that cut through all of this and made sense in this crazy place? Larry couldn’t think of any. Paul didn’t make much sense half the time. The best Larry could come up with was remembering Paul had said that the worst has happened and that the best is next. Looking at the people sniffing stuff off the floor, Larry wondered if Paul had been right that even though Tammy had the accident, it was the best thing for the weirdos on the ground. |
