I don't see the Destro or Balls in here mate. 

And don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm campaigning to get Oblivion to win, that was my favorite story and I respect the votes of the other judges. This should be fair, and Destro is neither a CL or a judge. 

NotoriousBIG, you're right, Destro isn't a CL, at least not yet, but he did win the last competition.  Are you saying that, as a writer, he doesn't have something of merit to offer?

I'm saying that you never publicly put him as a judge for this competition.

This is not fair to the writers that have participated in this competition. 

NotoriousBIG, you are correct.  However, I can't ignore his vote.  It was given in good faith, and as a competition winner, he has a voice that cannot be ignored.

However, this competition must be above reproach.  Therefore, I will make his vote count for a single vote, whereas the rest of the judges votes count for two.  Therefore, his vote, whilst fun for people to read, won't unduly sway the final decision.

No, he is not a judge for this competition and his vote should not count at all. 

If you announced this before the competition, no problem. 

And for the credibility of this competition, I advise you to do that. 

And if we are talking about good writers should be allowed to vote, then my man William_Pratt `s vote should count for 5 then!

NotoriousBIG, I have said I'd retract his vote.  I am not made of money.  I can't shell out a million dollars just to keep you happy.

Could we at least split the million and then leave the prize money intact?

I know this has nothing to do with me, but as ann impartial outside viewer brought here by the mention of my name, I fail to see why you feel you have to compensate someone for an unsolicited vote CommissarZverev. If I cast a vote will you offer me compensation for not having it counted.

I believe Biggie is right in this instance, as dispersions have been caste on a previous competition run by yourself as to the fairness of it, it would be in your own best interests to simply disallow the unsolicited vote and carry on with your competition. Unless you promised Destro a vote in the competition and again failed to inform the participants and other judges. In which case that would be on you and the burden of restitution would be solely on you. Purely as an independent bystander you understand.

I'm happy to pay Destro his million.  It's unfortunate that his vote was taken off him, and he should get paid for it.  I would have been sad if my vote had been cancelled.

Revenant received a vote as well, but he was disqualified, and tiggy has three votes, and Oblivion has two.  Somewhat ironically, we might need an additional judge if it's a tie-breaker.  That will open a massive can of fucking worms.  I hope Mikhail votes for tiggy, otherwise it'll be a total fucking shit show.  Or someone else, but he's of course independent.

I'm bigtime out of pocket for all of these competition, and all I get is cheek and nonsense.  

I'll do another next time, but I'll expect to be tipped properly.
