Noah Getting ready to work today stops in Sunshyne Cafe,He enters and walks up to the counter and ask's the lady working for a coffee plz....   She pours it for noah and he smiles as he pays her and exits off to a meeting.

After a long day of working Noah stops in the  Sunshyne Cafe. He enters with a friend and they both sit down at a booth.. A waiter comes over and they both order  The house special' Burger Delight- Beef . and off goes the waiter to get it for them. they sit and chat with each other ,then the food is brought out to them, The waiter gives it to them and they thank him,then start eating.

He remembered months ago about a Cafe, one before Athena had set up shop and did a real number on the clientele. The one thing however that he liked about the place, was the buffet. Food from every corner of the world and he could get it all for an inexpensive price. Slipping in through the back, Figment walked up to the buffet and began sampling before he paid; who was going to stop him? He thought to himself in a devilish voice which was typically accompanied by a whining one a few moments later which called itself his conscience. 

Pocketing a few egg rolls, he made his way to the counter and ordered the full meal. 

"I'll take the buffet, yeah."

Now that he was standing over the food properly and without having to worry about the workers noticing, he took a moment to enjoy the smells and sights. Not knowing what half of the stuff was, the man didn't care one bit and began piling on a plate everything that could fit, enough to the point that he had to get a second just for what looked to be some sort of stew.

"Now this is perfect."

Balancing both plates on his hands like some sort of circus entertainer he set them both on the table before him and sat down, digging in for a lot less time than you'd think it would take for one to finish two entire plates. Now that the appetizer was taken care of, it was time for the entree and with that, he stood back up and plated a massive helping of everything sky high to the point where he needed to place it on the ground and slide it just to keep it from toppling to the floor.

"Perfect."

Digging in, he smiled. His hunger slowly subsiding. Now for the second entree...

Chromatik had a spare couple hours so she decided to head into town. Since arriving here, she didn't really have the time for anything else but focusing on her errands and living situation. She wandered the busy streets of Detroit, her brown hues searching the new and old shops that were open on passing. She didn't want to go over the top, didn't feel like shopping, maybe just stop by somewhere for a hot drink.

She happened to brush past a semi old cafe business. Seemed kinda perfect given what she was after. Heading inside, her eyes searched the area quickly before arriving at the counter. "Can I just take a tea, please. Two sugars." She said with a smile to the waiter behind the counter, passing over the money and tip before turning her back as she waited for her drink. Sighing a little, she debated whether to sit in or take it out on her way though she did have a bit of time to spare.

A few minutes later, he handed her the tea and she nodded in thanks. Heading over to the corner of the cafe, she pulled up a seat in a two person table near the window so she could see the passerby's and sat down on the far end. She wanted to enjoy this time she had by herself before heading back into her busy schedule.

It has been a long and tiring day of work for zDiamonDz,

She couldnt wait to go home and sleep the rest of the night away but of cause she had to eat first.

After wondering through the streets of Detriot, She finally came across the Sunshyne Cafe.

Heading in, she looked over the rather large menu. It was so big that it took her awhile to decide what she really wanted as there.

Settling down at one of the free tables, she waived the waiter down so that she could order.

"Good Evening, what could i get you today" the waiter said.

" Good Evening, Could i please order the Smothered Pork Chops with the Macaroni & Cheese, I will also have the buffalo wings with the Homemade Oreo Milkshake" "ohhh and what type of Cheesecakes do you have" zDiamonDz replied looking a little embarrassed as the waiter looked at her to see where she could fit all of that.

Judas was shocked when he woke up this morning and saw all dead bodies all over the city, it horrific. He walked into one of those cafes and took a seat. Ordered himself a cup of coffee with some sugar and creme. Lighted up a cigar and enjoyed himself, always looking around for suspicious faces. He got his drink and thanked the waitress.

Furious comes into the cafe and right away walks up to the counter and buys a fresh coffee and a small cake to eat to it, he sits down and starts his smaller coffee-break which will make sure he wake up a bit bit better, no coffee, no wakeness. He never could get up without some of the wonderful black gold in his body.

Glancing down at his watch, Dick realized he had more time to kill than he had originally planned on. It wasn’t necessarily a bad thing as he stepped into the nearest cafe that he came across. A hot cup of coffee sounded like the greatest thing in the world at the moment.

Finding an empty seat, he dropped his bag next to the chair and placed the case within arms reach atop the small table. God knows the trouble he would find himself in if he somehow managed to lose it now. He ordered himself a black coffee as the waiter came to take his order and slid a nice tip to him before he turned back towards the register. It never hurt to line a couple pockets while he was in town. The cash he just passed over was probably more than the young worker was going to make in a couple of months slinging coffee here. 

Keeping an eye on the door, he gave a polite smile as his cup was placed in front of him. He wasn’t going to get anywhere with forgetting everything he had learned at this point. It certainly kept him alive this long so it must have been working.

Considering I'd made the trip to Detroit solely to see Fat_Thor , the surprise on my face must have been evident when I just so happen upon him at Sunshine Cafe.

"Thor?" I didn't have it in me to call him 'fat', even though it was just a part of his name, like MickeyFourEyes, or TommyThumbs. I mean, yeah, he had a belly, but he was also the tallest man I'd ever met. 6'4, 6'5? Just a beast all around.

"I was just coming to visit you, see if I couldn't take you out to dinner to celebrate your new position."

It was then that my eyes landed on all the plates on his table. Good thing I hadn't hit the buffet or anything yet, 'cause there wasn't a single clear spot for another plate, if I'd had one. Enchiladas, alligator nuggets, lobster mac, sloppy joes. And he hadn't stopped there. Not just one, but three milkshakes, cinnamon rolls, and an entire cheesecake fought for every square inch of the table he'd sat at. There was no food piled on the chairs, though, so I took a seat across from him after giving him a kiss hello. 

"This is damn impressive. If you manage to eat it all, is it free?" I'm about to tease him about only leaving the chicken dishes untouched, when a waitress comes over. I think she had intended to take my order, but she kind of just stands there a second, 'cause anything I order, there ain't gonna be room for it. I spare her the dilemma by just ordering whatever coffee blend she recommends, and after she leaves, I pluck an alligator nugget off one of Thor's plates and pop it into my mouth. 

"Tastes like chicken."

Thor looks at Furlan and smiles.

"Maybe it was chicken?"

He takes a sip from his glass smiling at her.

Grizzly strolls in the  Sunshyne Cafe,and walks up to the lady working,she asked him what he would like and he said A coffee please as he smiles. She hands him the coffee with a smile also and Grizz. pays her for it as he exit wishing her a good day.

CaptainSnowball hops along the street in Bricktown planning his next superhero escapade when suddenly his stomach rumbles.

"I sure could use a carrot juice on the rocks" he mummered looking up he noticed Sunshyne Cafe and vibrated with excitement, he hopped into the cafe and up onto the counter "Carrot juice please" he wrinkled his nose and shook the rain off his coat and smiled.

Grizzly doing work in the motor city stops in the  Sunshyne Cafe. He walks in and sits at a booth and ,soon a waitress walks over and ask's Grizz what he would like . Grizzly orders the house special with pancakes and eggs', waitress walks off to get his order while he waits for his food and read the Newspaper.

Another night passes out of town so the search for the best breakfast in the city continues. 

It was a wet and overcast morning for Nomad when a Ray of sunshine breaks through the must, it was Sunshyne Cafe

He enters to a bright and vibrant cafe and quickly finds his way to a booth, within moments a waitress is bringing over coffee as if she knows him already. 

Nomad knew this was going to be a good breakfast

Was one of those days where Lushique was up the crack of dawn. She had been alerted to a good deal going down in Detroit. So, without making time for her usual breakfast, with her much needed hot coffee, she was soon up, showered and dressed and making her way to Chicago's airport to catch a flight. 

Some hours had passed and everything went to plan. She was relieved she could finally head towards a cafe for her much needed coffee. At this point, she did not even know if she wanted any food. Someone had recommended her to visit the Sunshyne Cafe before, “No time like the present”, she said to herself, as she arrived to enter the establishment.

Upon entering the Sunshyne Cafe she was greeted by a greeter by the name of Alonso, “Good morning Miss, any seating preferences?”, he asked her as she replied, “Good Morning, Yes, a table just for one and if possible, by a window?” she requested as he nodded and told her to follow him. “Will this do?” Alonso said to Lushique as she nodded and thanked the man. She took her seat and proceeded to look through the menu, it was then that she realised she really was hungry. The food on offer that she read sounded phenomenal to her. 

“Greetings, have you made a decision about what you would like?” A server said to her as Lushique nodded in response as she pointed to a part in the menu, “Hello, yes, is it possible to have the pork bacon with a bagel please?” she asked as the server said it was indeed, “anything else?” the server asked as Lushique then requested for a Cappuccino also, “Please make that large as you do!” she said as she finished up making her order. The server smiled as he jotted it all down onto his notepad, to return to the kitchen and to request the coffee to the barista too.

Lushique didn’t have to wait long before her order was in front of her to enjoy. “Finally, I really can begin my day,” she said to herself as she took the first sip of her much-needed beverage.

Gunther’s celebration was taking place tonight. I received my special invite last night. I was still fighting with myself on if I should go or not.

At the moment, I was sitting on the bed in my motel room, sipping on a bottle of water. A look of frustration was on my face as I try to remember things from my past but, it was still a blank canvass and I kept hitting a brick wall.

An hour or so later

Sitting upfront on a crowded, noisy bus, I gazed out the window and into the dull settings that only a Detroit winter could paint. My mind was drifting as it searches for answers.

For the most part, my thoughts were just as dull as a long lecture on physics. This ride finally broke the ice for me. In New York, I pretty much stayed to myself, focusing on my work instead.

Speaking of work, it would be a nice show of support to show my leader on his special night. To become Godfather was a special honor so I read. But sadly, events like that made me uncomfortable and the last thing I wanted to do was embarrassed myself. I was content to stay lowkey and behind the scenes.

 Mentally I figure I send him a gift but what do you give somebody of that caliber. I lightly tap my temple as I softly blurted out. “THINK, THINK, THINK”

 I could hear a few giggles and chuckles as a few passengers were drawn to me. My cheeks redden from the attention. At the next stop, I hastily get off the bus and notice a spiffy looking place called “Distant Memories”.

From the looks up, it looks new.

A look of sadness flashes across my face. I was still dealing with my amnesia. Something I did well with hiding. Looking down at myself, I was dressed in a red and black checkered sweater dress and a pair of matching boots. Not a suitable outfit for a place like that anyways. The wonderful scent of freshly brewed coffee catches my attention as a strong gust of wind causes my body to tremble slightly.

I turn in the direction of the Sunshyne Cafe and heads toward it quickly, not wasting time

Walking through the doorway I felt a familiar energy wash over me.  It puzzled me; I don’t recall being here before nor Detroit for that matter.

Brushing off the sensation, I make my way up to the counter. A friendly robust elderly woman of Nigerian background greets me.

“Hello, Welcome to Sunshyne. My name is Marvelous and what can I get you? “

I look at the menu that was plentiful and decides on a cup of coffee to get me started.

She flashes me a warm smile as she gestures for me to take a seat at the empty table close to the counter.

I quietly thank her and go take a seat.

A few minutes past and Marvelous personally brings me my coffee and a plate of Beef Stroganoff.

It smells so good, my tummy started to growl. I felt slightly embarrassed but Marvelous gave me a reassuring look.

“I figure you could do with a bite to eat, dear.

“Thank you”

I pick up my fork and start to eat. While Marvelous strikes up some convo.

Gunther was standing just outside of his new establishment when he thought he spotted his dear friend Seraph walk into the Cafe just across the way. Gunther crossed the street and walked inside. He spotted her right away, having a bite to eat. Gunther walked over to her table and smiled to her.

"Hello there, do you mind if I join you?"

He looked out the window and saw his massive new establishment shining across the street.

"I'd eat there, but you know, it's full of fancy types. I'd rather keep the company of friends anyway..."

He flashed her a grin and a wink.

I did not expect to run into my boss Gunther.

Usually, I would be a nervous wreck, but at the moment, I was feeling calm, thanks to Marvelous.

Marvelous was like a mother figure that I have instantly grown attach to, which was weird.

I motion to have a seat.

As I finish up the rest of my coffee.

My grey eyes are locked on yours as I smile at you meekly as I sit my empty mug down.

"Hello, Mr. Gunther, it is a pleasure to see you.  Of course, you may join me if you choose. I am just surprised to see you here.

Marvelous quietly appears back at the table with a glass of orange juice, a piece of chocolate cake, and chicken pot pie, which was today special.

I was grateful to see her again because it gave me to gather my thoughts.

Privately I did a lot of reading and observing. I found it made learning at a rapid pace easier.

But back to Godfather Gunther, he was impressive. He was down to earth, funny, and warm. Most in power from my experiences don't carry those types of traits…sincerely.

"Distant Memories" came back to mind. My cheeks redden as I realize he must have seen me.

My throat felt dry, and so I reach for the orange juice.
