The Grand Lounge of the Riverboat Treasure Chest was decorated to the nines. The walls were covered with drapes in hues or purple, green, and yellow. Lilac flower petals were strewn on top of each table. The lights were dimmed in order to offer anonymity to guests who wanted to make the most of their flamboyant costumes and disguised faces.

A tall, handsome man, refering to himself only as Hy Ball, walks into the place, trying to not cause too much attention to himself. His attire was perfect for the event, otherwise he'd never have imagined wearing it. Atop his head sat a tall hat, wrapped in a criss-crossing pattern with what looked like aluminum foil. Across his shoulders and neck he wore a fur piece of... something unidentifiable. One of his hands bore a white jeweled glove, whilst the other sported a boxing glove. Covering his face was a mask that had no apparent way of staying up, but was resting perfectly on the bridge of his nose, wrapping his face to cover his eyes and cheeks. The vibrant color of the red mask stood out against his camouflage pants, and white button up dress shirt. Chuckling to himself he makes his way over to the punch bowl, and takes a look around. So far the place seemed pretty empty, he was hoping it would fill up soon so he could put his costume to the test and see if anyone recognized him.

Sexy_Princess is about to enter the ball. Completely concealed, her face is covered by a large white feathered mask. She is wearing a white, flowing tea length dress, which is cinched so tightly she can barely breathe. It is very low cut, with a slit in the side, all the way up to her hip. She has on a small diamond tiara. Sheer stockings and a garter belt complete the ensemble, but no one is actually away of that, just yet.

Attached to her outer thigh is a pearl handled Pistol.

Sarah Bellum  glides into the ballroom, an elegant dark blue gown hugging her curves before billowing out, hiding her bare feet. Long dark curls cascade down her bare backside, her face almost entirely covered by a soft silk mask matching her dress in hue and adorned in flowers of varying shades of blue. To go with the mask, a pair of blue silk gloves cover her arms just past the elbow. Never having been to an event such as this, she keeps to herself, trying to find some sign of familiarity for comfort before she allows herself to branch out. Perhaps a drink would help.

Sexy Princess looks about the room, deciding who her next mark will be tonight. Smiling seductively, she looks over the room. She orders a gin and tonic and settles into her position on the barstool. She decides to hit them where it hurts, as she allows the sheer white material of the dress to expose her legs.

Lighting a cigarette, she reaches for the gun with her other hand, just to see how easily she could grab for it in an emergency. Satisfied that she would be able to protect herself, she visibly relaxes. Waiting, with a hungry anticipation for a game of cat and mouse.

As she steps through the doorway of the Lounge, Ivana Tinkle smooths her low cut, dark red dress, with diamonds scattered across her bosom, as it flows gracefully around her legs. She steps in front of the mirror off to the side, and looks in the mirror to see how she looks with her leg revealed slightly through the slit in the side that goes to her hip, and her feet adorned in silver high heels. She adjusts her few stray curls, and admires her diamond necklace that dips down to just above her cleavage. Finally, she brings her silver gloved hands to adjust the silver mask that hides all except her full red lips, and stunning blue eyes. Satisfied with her appearance, she straightens and smiles seductively, she begins walking across the room, allowing just a glimpse of her garter that holds her pistol hidden under her dress, as she makes her way to the bar.

As he walks into the room, Lon Moore glances over his attire once more, assuring himself that all is in place. The cut of his suit is perfectly done, tailored to both fit his frame and conceal any weapon he might be carrying while leaving minimal sign. His white gloves cover his hands to his wrist, and his polished shoes reflect his face back at him; or, rather, the mask covering his face. It is made of White porcelen, and covers the entirety of his face. The painted smile is done in black, with crimson tear drops falling from the corners of the eye holes.

Lon Moore made his way over to the punch bowl where he joined Hy Ball.

Hey, mate. Figure this party will attract more attention?

Report Post Tip

The young man had entered into the party feeling a little awkward. He stood in the doorway looking around with about ten of his friends. Maybe his height would give him away or maybe his long arms might give a clue as to who he was. He strolled over to the bar where he saw a few others who were already gathered. It was a woman with a blue colored mask. He noticed the color of her gown and thought it was beautiful.

Hi my name is Bill Ding

The young man was feeling so out of place, he nor anyone he has ever known has been to a place such as this. The black tie that came through the middle of his white attire felt like it was beginning to strangle him. He took his left hand and adjusted it. Tapping on the bar he looked at the man and ordered a drink of ice cold water.

Report Post Tip

A young woman enters light sparkles off her red dress, she straightens her mask and heads straight for the bar, Not sure yet just what shes doing here she notices a young man sitting at the bar, She smiles and says hi..my name is Crystal Chanda Leir ...oh wait this is a Masquerade I'm not supposed to say that am I?

Pulling her hair off her shoulder she leans in closer to the bar and asks the bartender for a dry Martini with an extra olive, Looking over the room she smiles never seeing so many well dressed people in one place, Maybe coming here wasn't such a bad idea after all.

Report Post Tip

Sarah Bellum glances at Bill Ding then casts her eyes down, easily hiding a blush beneath her mask as she smiles softly. With a delicate wave of her hand, she gives a slight bow in greeting before looking back to him.

It’s a pleasure to meet you, Bill. I am Sarah.

She can see he is as uneasy as she, nervous even in such an atmosphere. With someone else sharing her sense of uncertainty, she allows her nerves to abate, smiling at him as she orders herself a rum and coke.

Report Post Tip

Bill Ding Was smiling at the girl named Sarah. Her blushing became more apperant. He smiled at her as he handed ordered a drink for her. The music was playing nice and quietely in the backround and everyone was all mysterious. He somewhat began to wonder who Sarah Bellum was.

You know Sarah, I think you have a very beautiful costume on right now.

He passed her the drink. As she began to drink from it he was hoping her mask would fall and he would see her face. This was not the case. He looked around at all the nice costumes and his eyes glared out to the window. The stars brightened the sky and the moon glowed in the middle of it all.

Nice weather isnt it? I would really love to take a trip back to New York right about now. Where did you say you were from Sarah?

Adolf Oliver-Busch walks in because, hey, free booze, right? He looks around, picking boogers out of his nose (it's overflowing) and chopping his gums...literally just smacking them again and again. He also finds his ass at the punch bowl and starts mumbling.

"Jeez, y'think a classy joint like this would have something a bit mintier. What in the hey how hoe. Ah well. It's probably a fault of them damn Russians or something. Y'know them regal types. Always pissing in your mouth and saying it's a beer, amirite?"

No one in particular is listening. Adolf Oliver-Busch continues to lap down the booze. It's quite refreshing.

A girl joins the room named Unveiled Bliss but she walks with purpose, posture straight. Her face was heavily painted white with black outlining her eyes. She held a stick connected to a black mask embroidered with gold covered half of her face with a large black feather attached to the top. Her lips were painted a deep red and they hinted no expression. The girls hair was dark brown and curled, piled on the top of her head while her eyes were green.

She walked to one of the windows and stared out at the night sky stars and the moon. She found them to be beautiful as there light shined down on the never sleeping city. her lips curled into a smile and she closed her eyes listening to the music. Tonight she would relax and have some fun. Tonight for once she wouldn't worry about tomorrow.

Report Post Tip

Sarah Bellum lets a sly smile cross her lips as she catches Bill’s eye, sipping at her drink. She sets her glass down and smoothly brushes a strand of hair behind her ear.
Hmm… I don’t recall mentioning…
She softly giggles, not falling for his little trap as the room begins to fill with more anonymous guests.

Report Post Tip

Crystal Chanda Leir sits back sipping her Martini watching the room fill with people, keeping to herself she pulls out a cigarette but as she presses it to her lips she notices she has left her lighter behind, looking around searching for a light she sighs, Pardon me but would anyone have a light??

Report Post Tip

Adolf Oliver-Busch hears crystal asking for a light, and spins around, rushing over.

I got this flint! Just, uh...gimme a second here.

Adolf Oliver-Busch instead takes out a rock and a piece of glass and starts bashing them together. He is making a lot of noise.

Just gimme a second here...

Report Post Tip

Crystal Chanda Leir grabs the mans hands dropping the cigarette from her lips, looking around the room to see other staring at them..

"
Calm down man its not that important" Pulling the man down on the seat next to her she hides her masked face a little from the onlookers in embarassment, she leans in to the man and whispers "Are you ok?"

Report Post Tip

Sarah can’t help but watch the commotion caused over a little cigarette, though she too had been wondering if the man was ok. She had just assumed he had partaken in pre-party drinking, but a regular drunk doesn’t normally carry around a flint in his pocket.

Report Post Tip

After seeing the commotion over the cigarette die down, Lon Moore decides that it is high time that he got to work. Many notable names would be attending this party, and he decides that it was time that he took them for a ride. He wanders through the the room observing the people within: who they talk to, where they situate themselves, what each person's costume is.

Half formed plans flit in and out of his mind as he thinks on how to accomplish his objective. He was going to need a distraction, something to keep their attention; the longer the better. He wishes he'd been able to get more confirmation out of his back-up than, "I'll try to be there, no promises." How the hell is going to pull this off without back up?

Report Post Tip

Unveiled Bliss looked down at her dress. It was black lace with intricate designs in the pattern. The dress was tight up top like a corset, but more modest, and then it flowed out a bit but not to much towards the bottom.

She blushed at the thought of her hair the way it was, feeling self concious not being used to being this girly, and pulled it down while no one was looking. Her curls reached her shoulders and she let them stay where they fell.

Turning around she chuckled as she saw a man struggling with a flint and shook her head slightly and walked over to the bar. She sat down and asked for a beer, because she felt like this was going to be a long night and she might as well loosen up.

Nick O’Tyme enters the Masquerade Ball with menacing eyes upon him. Nick O’Tyme  does not understand. He parts his dreadlocks away from his eyes to really gage the audience reaction. People around him start to whisper but he really can’t tell because every step he takes, his bone necklace creates noise. A waiter in front of him begins to take a few steps back. He is reluctant to serve him. All Nick O’Tyme  wants is his water to go with the immense heat from wearing a white robe to go with his white ensemble. A lot of people begin to take notice as he makes his way around the ballroom. The noise of the his sandals create echoes with every step he takes. It also doesnt help that the staff he is carrying to aid him with his every step is a wee bit taller than him. Nick O’Tyme  wonders why people are so drawn to him. Could it be the white make-up that is adorning his face that resembles the interior of his body is running down his neck? Could it be the missing teeth within his mouth? No matter. Its a pleasure to see people notice all the hard work that went into his design. He even played a little Jimi Hendrix to get into the mood. However, after much consideration, it might be the fact that he's carrying a shrunken head around that seem to perplex people. Hmm. What? Nobody has a shrunken head laying around in their closets??
