Go with Sonisphere for the Friday night alone, Metallica, Megadeath, Anthrax, Slayer and Diamondhead, what else can a metal head want. :)

Shit!!! I couldnt decide which 1 to do but i chose download for the simple fact of SOAD! Metallica are gonna be awesome man, id love to see them play. Ive seen Megadeath, Anthrax and Slayer before and this is why i chose Download because ive never seen System and i know they will be great. You like Slipknot dude?

Cool man a mushroomhead fan! I love both bands but i go more to the Slipknot side of it all. Whats your favourite Shroomhead track then mate? I think mine is Bwomp or sun doesnt rise. P.s Slipknot wore masks first ;) lol

I really think ive made the wrong decision going to download now, i need to see slipknot again before theyre done and the rumors im hearing its not gonna be long before they call it a day :( The death of Paul Gray was a shit day man. Metallica are gonna absoulutly destroy the mainstage, it will be immense! Its gonna be more than mental man, i entered my first Slayer mosh pit when i was 14, it was scary as fuck!lol.

Tbh it's been a while since I listened to them, I don't mind slipknot once Corey started singing but can't stand all that screaming, always preferred mushroom head as they were more musical.

My heavier tastes have gotten a lot softer in my old age, although eminem is playing my home town in august so going to that just so I can say I've seen him, there are other acts lined up but they ain't getting announced until Monday

Definatly mate Sonnisphere is an awesome lineup, Cavalera Conspiracy are absoulutly awesome and Slipknot are just Gods. Seeing Steve-o would be cool too.lol. But Download did not dissapoint, i mean come on System Of A Down, what more do you need!

I was trying to get funds together to go to the saturday just so I could see SOAD and a couple of others but couldnt manage it. I was massively put off by the 20+ bands who were at Sonisphere last year, Def Leppard, BFMV and Linkin Park.

Not just about whos on for a festival either though, all about having a good time and if you had a good time at Download then you made a good choice :)

System were immense man, 1 of the best shows ive ever seen. Avenged Sevenfold were a close 2nd. Are you going Sonnisphere, oreos?

Certainly am, went last year and had a great time, met a bunch of strangers who were all sound so was always going back THEN they went and announced The Big 4 and I forked out the money there and then

Slayer pits are fucked up man, every song is a pit killer! 1st seen em when i was 13 and a "mate" pushed me into the middle of a crazy ass circle pit. Glad to say i made it out alive, just.

haha we did the same to a mate last year, never been to a concert before and then he went Sonisphere. All weekend he was like 'Im not pitting, Im NOT pitting' Raining Blood came on, me and a mate gripped an arm each and ran him straight into the pit. You HAVE to pit for Slayer, its the law
