The Situation Started by: Fowler01 on Mar 26, '11 22:42

"What d'ya think happened here tonight detective?" An officer asks.

"Got no fucking idea, But it sure as hell got messy." The detective replies.

A body is on the floor surrounded in a pool of blood, Shot in the chest Three times.

"Sir! We have a live one over here!" An officer shouts.

8 Hours before

"What do you mean you lost it!?, How the fuck can you lose a kilo of coke!" Fowler screams down the phone

"Then i suggest you better fucking find it before i come find you! Got it!" He says before he slams down the phone.

He then walks over to the window and puts a cigarette in his mouth and then ignites it.

"I lost it, How the fuck can you lose a kilo of coke" He mutters to himself

The door knocks. Fowler walks to the door and answers it.

"Yo, How many times do i need to tell you to keep the no...."

Fowler grabs the man by the throat and slams him against the wall before he could finish.

"If you ever come to my door again, I will make sure you wont hear anything again!" Fowler says, He then pushes the man back out the door and into the wall.

Report Post Tip

Runs to hold back Fowler from beating the mans face into the wall. He holds him back and brings him back inside of the apartment that Fowler had owned. Sitting him down and locking the door behind him SINGER looks at Fowler.

Well man, now what? Sammy needs her money and this being your gig you need to figure out what we are going to do. I can easily bring in some people to help you out but you have to tell me what you want to do.

SINGER hadnt eaten in two days and started to feel a bit light headed. He walked on over to fridge and looked in. Nothing was there at all. SINGER looked at Fowler and pointed out the window to the old grill the resturaunt down the street from Fowler's Apartment.

Im going down to the old grill because ima little bit hungry. You can come share a meal with me or just wait for me to come back. Regardless im going to get some food now.

SINGER puts on his coat and grabs his wallet from the table that was by the fridge. Looking back at Fowler before he closed the door he started to smile.

Ill see you down there if you want if not no more choking people it could bring to much attention to you and thats not what we need at all.

Report Post Tip

" i will come down, Just need to deal with something first" Fowler says.

SINGER then shuts the door behind him and Fowler goes thru to his bedroom and gets a coat, He then walks out the apartment and heads down into the city. Whilst walking down, Fowler walks past a side lane and notices police tape blocking it off, 2 officers stand in his way.

"Sorry sir you cant come thru here, Things got a bit hairy here last night." One officer says.

"Your just gonna have to go the long way round." The second officer says.

Fowler looks at them both before he continues down the street, He looks about and notices the Old Grill.

"SINGER will be in here" He he says to himself.

Fowler opens the door and walks in, Scanning the place for SINGER. It didnt lake long, There he was, Sitting by himself reading the local paper.

"Hey man, Figured i will join you, Did you see the cops up the street?." Fowler asks.

He then takes a seat and orders a cup of coffee.

Report Post Tip

Tommy was sitting at the table behind SINGER. He was reading his paper, waiting on his order. He wasn't purposly listening in on the conversation, he was just too close to ignore it. At the mention of the word cops Tommy shifted a little in his seat. He leaned back and flicked the page, pretending to read his paper as he listened to rest of the conversation.

Report Post Tip

Ducking in and out of alleyways, diving through windows, sliding across cars, all in an attempt to get away from from the stinking pigs. Alonzo, ran down a bunch of stairways, jumped and landed with an oomph! The feds on his tail, couldn't see the point in losing a limb, so they backed off.Alonzo looked up and saw that the feds were gone and strolled down the road, when he came across more police. One of them looked at him, Alonzo doubled back and ducked into the nearest shop which turned out to be a recently refurbished place. He looked down at his knees to see that thre was dust and gravel on them, so he dusted them off and proceeded to sit down at a table at the far end of a corner. He picked up his menu, lifted it up slightly higher tan normal and slunk back at his chair. Alonzo began to read the top of the menu which had the shop's name in bold "Old Grill Restaurant". He lifted down the menu, to check if the police were still lokking for him, when a officer with a shiny badge approached him. Alonzo, gulped and..

"How may I help you sir?" asked Alonzo, trying to sound as formal as possible, for his accent might give him away.
"You seen anyone acting suspicious, anyone we should keep an eye out for. A gentleman, roughly 6foot, black hair, hey wait, stand up"
"Sure, but I don't know how this may help you, i've been here about half an hour and i'm waiting for a client, if he so happens to come here and sees me being searched he might get spooked thinking i'm a criminal and could potentially lose a multi-million dollar deal, so unless you've got a pretty good damn reason as to why I should stand up, i'm going to remain here, in my seat wit my menu. So if you don't mind, i'd like to order my food and prepare my notes." Alonzo's heart was beating faster than ever and hoped that line might work.
"Oh, ok, you wanna give me that talk, eh! A murder happened, not so long ago and a man of your description, was given chase.Unfortunately he err, nevermind... A police officer, asked me to come in to this shop and check, so there you go that's my point, so unless you want to go back to the station with me I suggest you stand...hold on one minute" The police officer went over to his colleague who also came into the shop, they spoke to eachother for a couple of seconds and the officer came back.
"Might just be your lucky day, the man has been arrested and is being interrogated right now!" He turned around and went over to the door, "and good luck with your deal" and with that he left.
Alonzo, took a deep breath, and slumped on to his chair. He looked around and saw that infront of him, there were two gentlemen, well-dressed, most likely in a family and behind him there was a young kid who was also well-dressed. They were all staring at him, eyes filled with anger. Alonzo, stood up, apologized to the gentlemen for the misunderstanding and went back to his table. He picked up the menu, and began to order, when he heard them talking. With nothing better to do, he began to think about how they had arrested another man, he had nothing to do with it. When he heard the mention of police, Alonzo began to order his food but kept his attention focused on the men's conversation.

Report Post Tip

Marty barges in through the side entrance to the restaurant. He glances around and sees Fowler and SINGER, then decides to take a seat next to them.

Sooo, how are you boys doing? You guys hear about that crime scene about half a block away?

He looks at them, then glances around the restaurant to notice that there are a couple men in suits sitting near them, fine suits, suits that showed a status. He tips his hat to them, uncaring whether or not they are even looking at him.

Good morning gentlemen.

He motions to the waitress.

I'll have a scrambled egg, with bacon and a glass of whiskey for a drink.

The waitress walks away and  Marty looks towards the men he is sitting with.

Report Post Tip

SINGER kept his eyes on the paper flipping another page. Now he was on the comics section. Lifting the glass of water to his lips he takes a drink still focused on that paper.

Nah was it a good one Marty?

SINGER began to laugh as he read the comic section it was always his favorite. He remembered when he was just a young boy that he would always steal the comic section and read it or at least make an attempt to read it. SINGER finally set the paper down and looked at that man behind him and smiled. Turning back around to Fowler SINGER pointed to Caroll as if he thought the guy was a copper. SINGER then made a motion for marty and fowler to follow him out the front entrance so nothing looked suspicious.

Well i think i had all i could get out of this grill.

SINGER got up placing the folded newspaper in his coat and wrapping it around the gun. A short stocky man approached Marty putting his hand on his shoulder it would seem as if it was an old friend. SINGER didnt care he just needed to figure out a place to lie low with fowler and marty. SINGER punched the guy in the face and kept walking.

Sorry about that marty he would have slowed us down. Hope you didnt care for him to much.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw a couple of guys run to the fat mans aid. SINGER must have been agitated about something because he was completely in an angry mood. He kept walking until they found a back alley where they could all meet.

Report Post Tip

Marty follows SINGER out of the diner, sees him punch the fat man who helped Marty when he first got to America, and followed him into an alleyway.

Well, those boy's will be extremely angry, the fat man had respect, not with highly respected organizations, but he had respect with this street... Vermin.

He turns towards the mouth of the alley and unconcealed a .28 caliber snub nosed revolver from his suit jacket's breast pocket and aimed it at the men, whose faces were hidden by the sunlight, that had just shown up at the alley's entrance.

Who are you? Reveal yourself or I will shoot, are you a street rat?

Report Post Tip

Tommy sat reading his paper, ignoring the man that had been punched. He looked over to the waitress who was carrying over his food. He didn't have to follow the three men, but he had a gut feeling that they were up to something. Tommy put a ten dollar bill on the table and grabbed his glass of milk from the food tray.

Sorry, I'm in a bit of a rush

He gulped down the milk and smiled at the waitress. When rushing out the side door of the diner, Tommy noticed the three men entering an alley down the street.

Crap he thought, what if hey notice him? Tommy kept his head low and put his hands in his deep pockets. He watched the three men as he silently sliped down the opposite street. Sitting on a bus bench, he tried to keep watching down the dark alley

Report Post Tip

It was nothing that the gun was pointing at. Marty could have just been a bit jumpy. They exited the alley way and SINGER saw a man at the bust stop. When SINGER looked at his face he was in a confused state. It was the man behind him at the grill. SINGER immediately thought that the man had to take the bus to get where he was going but it was a bit weird to see the man for the second time.

How you doing sir?

Not really a question but more of a greeting. SINGER greeted the man and kept walking with Fowler and Marty down the street.

Report Post Tip

The bustling streets of New Orleans were hard to get around at this hour. There were lots of noises throughout the town, so it seemed as thought it was a miracle when he heard an old friend of his. He scanned all around him, finally he saw the friendly face of SINGER, being followed by an accomplice that Jin used to play poker with, Marty. Another man walked with SINGER, he didnt seem too familiar to Jin.

He kept his eyes on the men and ran through the busy streets, tossing a few people to the side. After pissing a few people off he'd finally caught up with them. Tossing his hand over SINGER's shoulder, he gasped for air.

Hey....Man.

He said in between breathes

Tell me bro, you hear about that murder a couple blocks down from here?

Report Post Tip

SINGER was startled by JinJerrs hand that was placed on SINGER's shoulder. When JinJerr asked about the murder SINGER looked at Fowler and laughed.

No but i know a murder is going to go down real soon here probably in a little while. If you are willing to have some fun with your old friend we can make this moment great.

SINGER handed JinJerr his pistol and they all kept walking down the street. SINGER stopped and stared through the window of a local post office store and saw someone he recognized but couldnt put the name with the face. SINGER pulled the guys over and pointed through the window.

Does anyone recognize her?

All of the men were leaned over peering through the glass window in the same exact position. SINGER stood up and looked at the others who were bending over trying to see who she was when he started to laugh at how funny the situation was. Finally they all walked up to a local bar and sat there for a moment staring at each other in excitement. They all knew something was going down tonight. They could feel it in their blood.

Report Post Tip

Fowler opens the door and escorts his party to a table.

"Gentlemen, It is great to be here with you all on this fine day, But sadly we have a Situation. I received a call today and this call has greatly upset me."

Fowler then motions for the waitress to come over and orders a pitcher of water and a glass of whiskey for everyone.

"As i was saying, A kilo of cocaine has been "lost". But, for some reason i think this is not the case."

Fowler then leans in closer to the table and whispers.

"I believe that someone has robbed me, And im not the man to take these things lightly. Some people need to be taught to stay out of others business."

The waitress then comes over to the table with the order. Fowler smiles at her and hands her 15$

"Tonight we are going to the old warehouse where the original meet point was, Hopefully, That is where my product will be along with the people who stole it from me. Now i am offering you all the chance to walk away just now, Those of you who stay, I will be happy and make this worth your while."

Fowler then lights a cigar and takes a drink of his whiskey

Report Post Tip

The waitress then comes back and tells Fowler that someone is on the phone for him.

"Gentlemen, Please excuse me."

Fowler then stands up and walks towards the bar and then starts talking on the phone.

Report Post Tip

Marty takes a sip from his flask.

Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm in.

While waiting for Fowler to get back, he pulls out a cigar and lights it, then grabs a handful of them, and rolls them neatly out onto the table for the others to take.

Report Post Tip

Tommy watched as a fourth man joined the group. He wasn't sure now if he was watching something major or just watching a few guys going on for drinks. But he kept following anyway. When he saw the four men enter a bar he sighed, they were just going out for drinks. But Tommy kept following. He knew that if they saw him a third time, it would definitely look suspicious. He took a deep breath, lowered his hat and entered the bar. Thankfully he got in unnoticed and took a seat near the back. A strange older man came and sat beside him.

Hey, I saw you checkin out the guys up front. Rich fella's. You know em'?

Nah. Tommy didn't want to say much, he was very quiet like that

Ah He paused for a second you seem familiar. What'd you say your name was?

I didn't. It's eh ... Tony

The man looked at him with a straight face.

Come on, I'm not slow.

Tommy, Tommy Carroll.

The man smiled

Carroll, I knew your dad. Good man. So did Marty up there. One on the far left. Guess I'll leave you alone then. See you around kid

The man smiled at Tommy then got up and left. Tommy sat back in his chair and looked up at Marty, pondering if he should go up and talk to him.

Report Post Tip

"Other peoples lives are interesting arent they" Fowler says as he sits down next to Tommy.

"I know that you have been following me and the boys for a while, I oughta admit, You are pretty good at it too." He says with a smile on his face.

He then extends his hand.

"The names Fowler, Im not really bothered by you following us, You dont seem to mean no harm. Please, Join us for a drink."

Fowler then stands up and heads back to his table and takes a seat, Waiting for Tommy to join.

Report Post Tip

Tommy got up and followed Fowler to the table. He takes a seat and rests his hands on the table. He was nervous now, he kept wondering what they were going to do with him. Would they wack him, break his legs or maybe even strap him with the famous cement shoes. Tommy managed to muster up a smile and looked at Marty

A guy over there, he said you knew my father. My names Tommy. Tommy Carroll.

Tommy turned to point out the man who had spoke to him earlier but he was gone

Report Post Tip

Yeah, that guy's a creep. He was on the same boat that I was, I felt like I was in prison, he was scary.

He reaches his hand into his jackets inside pocket and pulls out a wallet.

I'll pay for the next few rounds, friends. But you'll have to excuse me for a moment.

He gets up and walks into the bathroom.

Report Post Tip

Fowler sits in his chair with a serious look on his face, This was the look of anger and hatred building up.

"The guy that was killed up the street, He was the guy that was holding my coke, Someone has robbed me." He says.

He then takes the full glass of whiskey in one drink and then puts a cigar in his mouth and smokes it, Attempting to creates circles out of the smoke.
