You are asking which is the faster sport. This is not a question of opinion. There is a right or wrong answer here. Not only is there a right answer, but it should be pretty obvious. The correct answer is: Hockey The puck travels faster, and the players skate faster than soccer players run. Next debate: Is the sky blue, or pink? Der. |

hmm, but maybe a football travels faster when kicked FlyingPig? The hockey player certainly moves faster but is the play as fast? one touch football, when played at it's best, is incredibly fast and requires a great deal of skill. All depends on what kind of speed people are loking at. |

No but Ronaldos is not far off. I think he has been seen to be hitting a ball around 90-100 MPh. I may be wrong though. He also outrun a Buccati (?) from a standing start until the turbo kicked in.. |

As I have just said, when football is played well with one touch between player it is at a fast pace and uses a great deal of skill. And some, not the majority by any stretch would give a 'guy on skates' a run for their money over the length of a hockey 'pitch' (is it a pitch?!) aaaaaand a football may be hit as fast as a hockey puck. Until someone proves otherwise I will stick by that. |

I would definitely have to put my vote towards hockey being much faster than soccer/football. I know I can definitely watch it for a lot longer than the other. I feel there are more things happening in a hockey game than Soccer. Hmm..however, I don't know which sport would be better if I was attending a professional game.. Anyways! Hockey is faster. |

Being that its difficult to even follow the puck on TV... I'd say hockey is a much faster sport. A soccer ball is like 100x the size of a puck and moves MUCH MUCH slower makes the entire game slower. |
