These Streets have been ALIVE, SHE CRIED.  In recent days, contests have gone ahead, and been cancelled.  Newspapers have been launched.  City Hall flaunting lunatics have denounced those that wish for the betterment of mankind, and we have seen a number of deaths.

Most of them avoidable.  But then again, isn't all murder?

But I digress.  In many ways, what I am about to say is surplus to requirements, in that it will make no practical difference to the lived experiences of you, the peon masses.  But that is no good reason not to do something, so I proceed on that proviso.

For better or worse (I would argue better), I have led the Streets for some time, and my bloodline did before me.  I am, literally, Leader of the Streets, in that my crew is called The Streets and I am their Leader.

But that being said, I am formally renouncing my de facto title of Leader of the Streets (whilst, obviously, retaining my title of Leader of the Streets).

What I am instead proposing is that I become known as FATHER of the Streets.  I'll obviously remain as Leader of the Streets as well, but for the purposes of the Streets that we speak on, I am proposing that I am known as their FATHER, rather than their LEADER.

"But why are you doing this, Anton?"

Good question!

Well, the first thing to remark upon is that I am merely proposing this, not confirming it.  It will need thought through and discussed.

SO, LET ME ASK YOU - SHOULD I, ANTON, RENOUNCE ONE OF MY LEADER OF THE STREETS TITLES AND INSTEAD BECOME THE FATHER OF THE STREETS? 

Bandito stares at his reflection in a nearby shop window, pondering as to why Ronnie continuously leaves ugly duckling pictures taped to his office door every morning at HQ.

"Am I really that ugly?", He thinks to himself before walking into the crowd of people that Anton had gathered for one of his usual speeches.

"I believe I speak for the majority of people in this crowd when I say, no one cares what name you wish to be called. "Father" is too close to "Daddy" and the only "Daddy" I know in this life is the sexiest man alive Ronnie-Radke.

With so much polarization in the streets can we really afford not to have a leader?

Leaders don't need to be well liked or even respected by everyone, but without them everything would crumble,

And to echo what the esteemed Bandito has said, 'Daddy Anton' doesn't have the same ring to it. A question we could pose is who else would be capable of this undertaking?

What do you suggest?  I can't think of anyone. 

I'm still a newcomer to the streets. It's far beyond me to be offering suggestions. I just see all these naysayers who seem to crop up from time to time complaining about the state of things, but none have offered to take over the role. 

It doesn't seem like a stretch to call you an indispensable asset to the streets. You're out here nearly daily putting in the long hours and hard work keeping the streets running smoothly.  

I mean, why stop there Anton?

Why not 'Godfather of the streets' or indeed 'God of the streets'

while you're at it, you can also call yourself 'Inventor of stuff' and 'Creator of oxygen'

well, yes, that could be a possible downside, granted.

I still think my other suggestions hold water.  I'm going to call myself 'irritant of the streets' or 'bit of an arse of the streets'

Anton while I see where you might think it could annoy the Godfathers, you could also think of it this way. While the streets are not an actual city, no one else at this moment is laying claim to the title of Godfather of the streets. And what else is a Godfather chairman other than being the one who made it to Godfather before the other ones could. So if you are already the "Leader of the Streets" why not go ahead and claim it before anyone else does? Dream big. Go big. Go for Godfather of the Streets.

I remember quite some time ago,  someone claimed to be King of Philly. While there are no kings in this game. There was a temporary change in their rank to "King of Philly".

Leader of the streets you say, even godfather now. Well well, titles seem to be popping up at random, maybe we could think of some more laureates like Spammer, Nuisance, hmm what else... soapbox king, hmm, center of attention seeker, bully, stalker...

I'm curious to see if we can make this like a contest of how many hats this figure is able, offered or willing to wear. I bet that could be interesting discussion to be had.

Would it sit better with people if wasn't always one of Anton's ancestors every single time?  Just floating the idea out there that maybe if someone else could have an opportunity for a change, maybe that would resolve this issue?  I'm personally not a big fan of the "everybody gets a trophy" approach to things, and I think claiming a title that hasn't been earned devalues the prize and cultivates entitlement.  But for the sake of putting this argument to rest I wanted to present it as a possible resolution at the very least.  People are now dying over this silly discussion, it's beginning to look like a writing contest around here.

I read and sits down a just is a bit wondering about this thread, must be good to be a one that thinks is much betetr than all other in the world, I dont think this is the case here really, noo ne is betetr that any one.

Use to say that putting in front of all other in any cases aint good at all. Everyone is good but so many dont care to show it since irl is way to much important to most peole nowadays.

Keeping on telling all this so many times just make many laugh at it I think and have much in mind after reading this so many times.
