Flanked by Katherine and Lucy, Jack exits Selfridges HQ in the heart of Old Town, Philadelphia.

"Today I've been fortunate enough to be both inducted into the ranks of La Cosa Nostra, and given a chance to work alongside a nationwide collective of people I hold in high regard. I consider myself lucky to be able to operate with individuals who have outlined so very transparently what this life, this time, is about.

"I'd like to make clear my appreciation to Don Asher and the people of Philadelphia for this opportunity, too."

Jack looks to Kates and LuckyLucy.

"Mses. Sparato, Dicaprio and I would also like to extend our gratitude to Don PoisonIvy, for her essential support on this venture.

Mezzo clears his throat.

"Some time ago, my ancestor came to the streets to announce his acquisition of a pier in old Philadelphia, and his intentions with that property. Unknown to him at the time, what would follow was a long standing period of building that allowed the individuals working on that structure to collectively host a series of events for public engagement. To save recycling the same old speech, I will just confirm that his agenda has not changed. 

"So, with that said, I'll retire with my new associates to the pier and toast the occasion with them. I welcome anyone present to join us, especially those who enjoy frequenting the business districts. We've got a new place on the pier, The Cat and Phoenix, so the more the merrier. I've also gotten careless with a number of these shiny coin things, so you might find a few scattered about the place if you drop by.

"Thank you."

Honey takes a glass of scotch and raises it high, toasting Jack and his city. 
 

“Congratulations Jack and Kates and Lucy! I hope to see many good things come out of Philly again.”

Gianna steps forward from the crwod with a large smile on her face before clearing her throat and speaking as loud as she could so everyone could hear her in the crowd..

"It brings me joy to see Race Street around these shores once again. My family has always talked about the great things Race Street did for them, specifically the late Louis Mezzo and Isabella Luciano. I hope to see Race Street reach it's former glory back under your leadership, my father would be most happy to see that he was not after all the last Don of Race Street."

She paused and pulled a small flask full of Crown and Cork whiskey and raised it in the air to Jack and smiled.

"To Race Street, and the future.. congratulations."

Congratulations Mr. Mezzo, it's an honour to see Race Street back in action. I wish you and your crew all the best. 

"Congratulations JackMezzo on your new operation within the greatest of the cities, Philadelphia. I have little doubt that people such as yourself, Kates, and LuckyLucy will only add to what is already an extensive history of great things to come from the city of brotherly love. I think I speak for most people when I say I am extremely pleased to see this and excited to see what comes from it "

Asher had heard stories about Jackies ancestors running a very lucrative organization here in Philly, so when he initially joined the Selfridges company we had some high hopes for the young JackMezzo.

"I am proud to say that Jackie has far exceed my expectations and am pleased he is now authorized to set up his own organization and to continue his family legacy. This was an easy decision and I am glad to have you help with the expansion"

Before Asher walks off he shakes hands with JackMezzo "you will have the full support of Philadelphia"

Johnny clapped as Jack spoke, then waited his turn to finally catch up with the man. Extending a hand, he grinned.

"I know I congratulated ya privately, Mr. Mezzo," Johnny nodded, "But I wanted to do it publicly as well. I'm excited to see you continuing your ancestor's legacy and I can't wait to see the new renovations to the pier. I'm certain I'll be a frequent visitor as an entertainer, long as you don't have any aversions to magicians!"

He smiled as he flicked his wrist, a rose appearing in his hand that he offered to the Lady DiCaprio. Looking to Kates, he bowed his head. "Sorry, you didn't seem the type to like flowers like that. But..." He flicked his other wrist and offered a bottle of single barrel whiskey between Jack and Kates; the worn and aged label emblazoned with the fading silhouette of a cat, the date barely legible at all above the word 'Detroit'. "I do assume you could toast the new pier with a good bottle to drink. I wish you all longevity in life and luck of the divines upon your adventures, be them business or pleasure!"

With that, Johnny faded back into the crowd and out of eyesight...

Kates shuffled back and forth on her feet, eyes roving the crowd. She'd never appeared in public for a speech like this before, and it took a great deal of getting used to. The whole thing felt surreal, but she had faith in Jack. He was everything a crewleader should be, and she'd just have to do her best to be there to... what? Support him? A strange concept. Kates shifted to stand at Jack's right hand. At least she had Jack and Lucy to do the planning. 

With her hands plunged into her pockets, she surveyed the crowd. Ivy was there- a leader who cared deeply for her crew. Kates had enjoyed her time with her, and she resolved to stay in touch. As other leaders and notable figures of the six cities congratulated Jack, Kates found herself thinking about the future.

Jack's grandfather had built something that people remembered- something with a legacy that had endured far beyond his own life. Would this Jack have the chance to do that as well? Only time would tell, but Kates was resolved to help him.
