Call it whatever you want. If Speedy was killed originally, no wiseguys or less would have been killed, but unfortunately due to a small gun malfunction, some more people unfortunately were killed.

Fun fact: 3 people who were around when the initial gun shots went off contacted crews and were removed from the shooters sights. Isn't that really crazy?

Aggressors can kill who they want.  They can put whatever protection order up that they want, and if they want to make a change on the fly and shoot someone because they are deemed a threat - then guess what??  You got it, babe!!  They can do what they want!"

She continues to suck on her sweet lollipop. Maybe he needed a sweet lollipop to suck on so he wouldn't talk to people with such salt on his tongue.  She wondered if he knew that you could get more bees with sugar than with vinegar. She shrugged her shoulders and skipped off to find more candy. 

Indifference took the book from her.  He knew she wouldn't read it because she thought she had all the answers to the universe already, and something like a book would have information which was contrary to her narrow point of view.

I wouldn't trust the protection order against all the guns out there to save my ass necessarily.  I'd probably go out and find a crew leader willing to take me in.

 

There's a million things you could do to secure your safety rather than just sit on the laurels of a protection order which (let's be honest) is noble - but difficult to control. 

Indifference this is horseshit. When there is a war and a protection order is issued the recruiters should get off their asses and contact those who are without family. Be proactive rather than part of the problem.
