Not too long ago we saw the down fall of a Godfather due to the actions of one of his auth's. Tragic of an event this was and can be. This is not the first time a Crew Leader attempt to take down a God Father of their city. I can also think back to the previous leadership of L.A. under the Godfather Charlie Croker where more than one of Mr. Croker's crews tried to take him down. This attempt at changing the leadership was not successful of course. |

Your oath of loyalty to your godfather supersedes any oath you may of taken to your crew leader. It is expected of you to inform your godfather of any plots you may uncover. |

Chade overhears Durzo's answer and nods his head in agreement.
"Even if you are in a family that isnt the godfather's own, your loyalty is to your godfather first."
Chade lights up a cigarette and takes a drag while waiting to hear anyone else's opinion. |

If you were informed of the actions of your crewleader against your Godfather, and you agreed with the reasoning and you feel the actions need to be taken, you would pay your loyalty to your crewleader. Of course if you randomly walk into the fighting, and you have no idea as to the cause of the actions being taken, you would pay your loyalty to your Godfather, because I agree with DurzoB. Your decisions on the matter solely rely on the circumstances in which you are making said decision. |

That is very true. But you have to consider the fact that your crew leader may win the war and you maybe seen as a traitor either way. Thus you may be killed for taking the side of your Godfather. |

Rival was just walking away from Furbys speech when he approaches Tyrant asking a quick question. Mainly the question seems to be who are you loyal too? He thinks to himself about who he knows and who has helped him. Then as it would seem to be, as evident as the color of trees in daylight, Rival begins to dream that he is in one of these crews.

Tyrant you are correct. If the crewleader wins the war, you will be seen as a traitor in the eyes of your crewleader, but in your heart you would think of the crewleader as the traitor, and you as the one who stayed loyal to the man, or woman, that gave everyone in that city their start. Is it bad to die for something you believe in? |

I would definitly defend my crew leader, because he took a risk on me, not the GodFather. The GodFather represents me but everyday I know I was given my chance before Inspector Gadget became GodFather (God Rest His Soul) by Iestyn. |

If you go by the mafiaso code of honor, per say, I suppose "siding" with your godfather would be the correct course of action. |

Frank was leaning up against the wall smoking a ciggerette when he heard Tyrant's question. He took in a few drags while he tossed the question around in his head and listened to what the others had to say. Knowing what he now wanted to say he flicked his ciggerette to the ground and moved away from the wall.
Well, what a sight to see so many honorable men and women pledging their lives to their Godfathers or Crew Leaders. You put me to shame, all of you, because I fail to agree. Ladies and gentlemen this is a business, we are business men and women. Money is both the glue and grease of our operation. Can any of you truthfully say that if we consistently fail to provide our leaders, both of crew and city, with a steady flow of tribute that our bosses, to whom many of you pledge your lives, would hesitate to put a bullet in our free-loading, dead-beat bodies?. It is only fair that this work both ways. Just as none of us would argue when our bosses dispose of dead-weight, I would say the same applies to our Bosses. If they can no longer provide us with the necessary protection to enrich ourselves and the suitable guidance to help us make it through this world then it is only fair and just, by the rules of which all of us accept when we enter into this thing of ours that they be disposed of.
Now to directly answer Signor Tyrant's question. I believe we should who so ever is the most consistent with our personal interests. Cold as it may sound, underneath all of the pomp and pretensiousness that is the only true law of this world. |

Long time ago my ancestor was a hand of an idiot crew leader. This man couldn't run a crew if his life depended on it, which it did. After awhile my ancestor found out that his Crew Leader wanted things for himself and was plotting against their Godfather a man my ancestor respected and liked. Easy choice here, he informed the Godfather and the Crew leader was removed, it was so easy that most of his own hitters helped kill off some of their Crew leaders body guards. A crew leader needs to earn the loyalty and respect of their members not demand it. Most members just bow down say the good old "Yes sir" or "Yes ma'am" not cause they respect their leader but because they have to pretend to respect cause if they don't they die. Same goes with Godfathers. The best way to earn the respect and loyalty of your members is just by doing a good job and by not being an idiot. If I was with a shit Crew leader but my Godfather was great, I'd side with my Godfather if I found out my Crew leader was going against him. If my Godfather was shit but my Crew leader was a great person I respected and admired then my loyalty would go to my crew leader. But if I felt the same loyalty and respect for both crew leader and godfather, then if I found out my crew leader was going against my Godfather I would notify my Godfather and help him for the main reason that in this situation your loyalty to your godfather should outrank that to the Crew leader.
Unfortunately there are bastards in the world and even if you had the respect of your members, if one of them heard you were planning against the godfather, they would notify the godfather not out of loyalty to him but because if the Godfather wins they are in a better position to get to the top having the Godfathers thanks and their Crew leader out of the way for their rise to the top. But such is life. |

A long time ago, i stood by my crewleader, did what i had to do, I stood by my crewleader and city untill the bitter end, and lived. but after the war a deal was done and I was killed off.
would i do it again, yes i would stand by my crewleader and my godfather at all costs.
if the situation was my own godfather and my crewleader, i dont know what i would do, Inevitibly it would depend on the circumstances. |

Sweeney walks up to the mist of the question while holding his Mnt Dew can with vodka in it. He looks down and thanks to himself in this. Hearing others say there opinions. Trying to judge it out. He takes a sip of his drink and clear his throat.
As a member of the city of Detroit. I can surley say that would never happen here. Ever. But, as a former member of the Godfather: InspectorGadget. When he was a Don of course. I signed the rules to stay loyal to him no matter what. Even though I'm in a different crew now. Which he Auth'ed: FOX. My name is still in the book; signed. Can't change that. But, it goes the same for FOX. Same way I signed my loyality to her too. What can I do? Nothing of course. If I was place in that situation; I would tell both parties that I'm not going to be a part of this. If, they don't agree then I proved my point. And, that's all it matters to me.
But, as I said. That would never happen in this city.
Takes a sip of his drink and rub his eyes. |

I tought you make the honnor pact to Your family... so basically thinking like that eventough its to be loyal to your Godfather, the family goes 1st...
If the Godfather or crew leader messes up you have no choice to go for the best benefit of your family.
This is my point of view...and i Share it.
respect.

Hears Alesia agurement and thinks to himself what to say. He takes a sip of his drink and offers to her.
If it did ever happen in Detroit I would be very surprise. I'm just saying. If Inspector put her as a CL then he has the utimate trust on her to do well. I been in both crews in my life. They're really great friends. That's why I say I very much doubt so. |

No, no, I'm talking about in time. In the future, with a different godfather, any city can fall to such occurances. |
