My near death experience would be a little odd for most. So on my first year driving, I was an enthusiastic kid who loved speeding and tailing cars while drivers, the adrenaline rush was very exciting at that time, so I was at college one day and I decided to skip some classes with a friend and go watch Avatar at the cinema, after we finished I decided to drive him to the bus station as he lived in a different state, we couldn’t locate the bus station so I decided to drive him home. He didn’t know the way home so we ended up taking a wrong exit off the highway, after a few meters we met someone and asked if we were in the right direction, he told us we got the wrong exit and that we should go back and take the 2nd exit. Go back? We thought to ourselves and asked if we could keep moving forward and take a uturn to get to the opposite direction and then take another uturn to get to the right direction and he was like that will be like 10 kms for you, just turn around and go back. We looked at each other and decided to listen to the man who apparently knew better, so we drove against traffic (that road didn’t have any cars going anyway) but then we reached the highway in front of us and we needed to turn around to get on the right direction. I didn’t stop to think how to do that, I just sped up more pulled the handbrake and drifted my way into the right direction, almost getting ran off by a trailer. Luckily we survived the accident by a few cms and ended up getting cursed by everyone one on the road.

I have had a few close calls while riding on my motorbike. Riding on Indian roads are always, shall we say 'interesting'.

I was on a highway near a village once, going over 100 kmph and up ahead a herd of fucking goats began crossing the road. I swerved while applying the brakes and was sure Id either fall over or hit the damn goats but I ended up coming to a halt before ramming into them. Woulda cost a ton to pay for damages and broken bones.

I was at cricket practice ( cricket is similar to baseball if you don't know it) and I was talking to this guy who was quite a bit larger while we were in the nets, and he was large enough to block my line of site with one of the batsmen in the nets and suddenly I hear the ball being hit hard and the guy I was talking suddenly jumps out the way. Soon after the ball comes whizzing past less than 5 cm from my eyes. It might not be a near death experience , but it would certainly have given me brain damage if I was standing in a different place.

I don't know if this is supposed to be some fascinating story about seeing some hot blonde angel summoning me to walk towards the light, or whatever, but there's been a few times where I've damn near died.  All but one were a result of being young, drunk, and stupid.  Those I don't remember much about.  More recently, I almost choked to death (on freaking water!) while I was at home alone.  I literally could not breath and I passed out in my chair.  After I don't know how much time, I regained consciousness and found myself face down on the floor. I had regurgitated the water was able to get some oxygen in me. Scary shit.

When I was a young pup, playing little league baseball. I was ridding in the back of a pick up with my team, it had a camper shell on it, but we got picked up and gently set down in the ditch by a tornado.

i don't remember feeling like I was in danger, but I did remember it!

When I was around 8 my mom and I were on the way back home from leaving my dads house in the dead of the night, not a single other car on the road. When we get about a quarter mile down the road we are waiting to turn left, the light turns green and we start to turn. I'm currently sitting on the back right passenger seat, I look out the window and I see this 18-wheeler coming full speed at us. At this intersection only one set of lights is green at a time, so not only is the semi speeding, it also ran a red light. If the semi did hit us I would have taken the full impact of the hit. My mom sees this and speeds up just enough so the semi doesn't hit us, it missed us by 10 feet.

Oh I was in highschoool and a buddy was driving down a long straight road. It was about 11 at night. We were going about 100 miles an hour and he swerved and we did a few full circles and ended up in a yard and the car was inches from a phone poll my side. I think if he swerves a half second later I likely die. 

One night I was traveling back home following a late night college course.  It was a Thursday and I had worked all week and twice a week I drove 2 hours after work for a night class and then would return home to go to sleep and go back to work the next morning.  On one such night, my attention drifted off for a moment and I saw a sign for an exit.  In a start I kicked the car off cruise control and moved over to take the exit.  I knew I was going a little fast, but I knew my exit was one of those that gently verved off the interstate so I was not to concerned.  I quickly discovered however that it was not my exit and it was actually the one before my normal exit.  I also discovered that this exit was 25-mph hairpin turn.  I hit it about 60 mph.

It was amazing.  It felt like I had someone in the car with me telling me to when to hit the brakes, how hard to ride them, and when to release the brakes.  At one point I even had to the accelerator.  Who would have even thought that you would want to hit the accelerator in a situation like that!  It was necessary indeed and I somehow made the turn with no ill effect.  I am quite certain that there was a time my car was actually on two wheels.

I will never forget it.

While my cousin was driving at night with me we took a shortcut to get home faster. What happened was that shortcut was pretty dangerous and we didn't know. We took the shortcut

Mine was a couple years back in summer. Went to a water park with family and relatives. Got on those water slides. I chose to get on the highest one. So i slid down and when i got into the water, i was under, drowning. Lol. Ended up swallowing the water, as well as breathing some in and some in my ears. I was pulled up by my aunt who was nearby or else i would've passed out there. Im scared of water lol

I've had more near death experiences than any human has a right to have.  I've been shot at, blown up, stabbed, run over, stuck inside a flipping Jeep, slipping off more than a couple ledges down cliffs and buildings.  Somehow I've found a way to come out of all of these mostly unharmed.

One good thing, I learned a valuable lesson.  When it's my time, nothing will stop it from happening, and nothing will kill me until it is my time.  These experiences have taught me to live life to its fullest, because you never know when.

My near death experience started with logging onto this game, I was talking to KingKlit and when I finally actually saw him/her, they had a ginormous klit, shit was so scary I almost had a heart attack. Not really a great story but I wanted everyone to know KingKlit had a huge klit and it stinks bad.

I think the only real near death experiance would be me deciding not to head out drinking with some friends and stay home the planned night was in the pipeline for weeks but come the night i turned it down my friends got drunk and wreaked the car one where i used to always sit another friend sat and was killed. I still think about that night alot and sometimes feel guilty about it :/

I almost drowned as a kid on a lake, and miraculously avoided being smashed by an elevator for a few seconds. I must be a cat.

once when I was kid, I visited a teacher and injureid my toe, so I went to the market close to her housr and when I was there a super fast jeep came and hit the stairs of the market which was exactly 2 meters away from me.

I had a car accident which was pretty bad, luckily we got out of it alive. We were going around 90 mph and a dog ran on the road from hell knows where.. sadly we hit the dog and the spinning started.. oh boy it was scary shit :/

My near death experience 3- open heart surgeries..  Took a toll on my health  as well as, Diabetes,,another critical thing to watch. so if your healthy Praise the lord'
