{My thoughts on this would be that you aren't exactly trying to hide yourself in a closet, also people with the skills of knowing that a person is in a city needs to remain crucial. I'm just throwing this out there but the way vision answers are now you must wait a certain amount of time to be able to develop the skills perfectly before you start getting used to them. With that said maybe we can develop this idea around the fact that when the stealth users with massive amounts of bodyguards take a flight the contacts that the vision answer set would have a better chance of being told. Let's say for the first 15 minutes users with medium level vision would notice that the flight at the time the user with the bodyguards landed would have noticed the high traffic and be more alert so he would know he's in the city. But after 15 minutes I think the user on stealth with the bodyguards would have found his safe haven where he could be safe from view.} |

I remember making this thread and at the time, we had been hunting a Godfather, Chade, who had not only a tremendous gun, but also tremendous stealth and an enormous entourage. Nobody could see him within the locals list at all. Now, this meant that the only way to find him was to try and BG wack him in each city. I can't accept that anyone with an entourage that size (we are talking in excess of 300 BGs in this example) should be invisible in the locals. I think this defies the whole meaning of stealth, which is about remaining low profile and drawing the least attention to yourself possible. One of the most high profile people within the mob, with 300 BGs actively protecting them should be seen. |

I could be wrong, but I believe Chade also had a stealth stat boost from a contest, not sure if that made him that much harder though? |

I agree,the more bg's, the more visability a character should have for his/her , own protection.. |

Ricardo made a good point, BGs as we think of them really aren't supposed to be obvious. now i'll say that 400 of the fuckers will still be more visible. after all, Wouldn't it be a bit strange on an average day to have an extra 100-200 people who just ahppen to all walk by with some mobster? not to mention the sudden number of extra cars idling all over?
in addition to all that, I think that here, Ricardo's main point abot realism probably needs to fall to game balance. because frankly, yeah, these probably wouldn't be quantico trained gaurds, and the balence of having a gazillion BGs and still stealthing people on pure info, just doesn't work in my eyes. |

This was partially supported by the Player Commmission, and is a suggestion I wholeheartedly agree with. Was this ever (in any form) implemented? |
