I really think we need to start naming these wars. Just in my opinion. :P

Well the ones I can really remember are the Detroit Masacre not long ago. And, one with Rhurac. I can't remember. :/

That's a great idea, Sweeny- and actually, for awhile there I did start to name all the wars that took place here. I had things as simple as "The December War", or the "June Massacre", but then there were some wars that were with a specific reason, like "The War on Drugs". One of my personal favorites was the "April Showers (of Blood)". I have an old list kicking around on one of my PCs, I'll try to find it and share what I named some of the old MR wars. :)

I think I remember December War. That lasted for a while. But, if we name these wars in like a special new folder under the Streets fourm or something to keep in memory of these wars. Like an archive. See the people who died. The reasoning towards it. And, so forth.

I like that idea Sweeney. Go through it up in the Suggestions forum, see if they want to make any headway on it.

Ps,

The Fort vs Amber, best war ever.

Report Post Tip

Yeah Sweeney that is a good idea.

MrEvilman vs everyone, showing that you don't need 150 plus members if you got quality :p

As the only war I've actively participated in was the recent Chicago vs New Orleans war, I have to say that one.

Report Post Tip

Best war was Count D vs Mckidds. A classic. Think we fought Secret Agent too that way fun

Chicago vs New Orleans war

The Denime takedown would have been a war had the person in question actually been able to get online

Complete fallacy.

Nobody from NY beat a single pro wacker from the attacking cities the entire conflict.

A 500,000 kill gun is redundant if there is nobody available to aim it at.

If you honestly believe that the pro wackers could have beaten Denime consistently over the whole affair then fair does.

I on the other hand seriously doubt it myself.

We devised a flexible strategy and actually planned for Deimne to be active and responding immediately from the minute the first shot was fired. I am still confident that we would have comfortably succeeded, had he come online just as we did when he did not.

SpaceMountain had numerous pro wackers and wasn't shooting after the conflict began until he killed Deimne. You're advocating that he could have beaten multiple pro wackers, flying to follow someone not actively shooting him, without knowing their pro time and killed him. Added to that, that if he did kill SpaceMountain, somehow, he would still have been continually BG wacked until he was at a level that someone else could have killed him.

No single gun, no matter how good, can win a war on their own. A sound plan and capable individuals overseeing it, ensuring that people remain diligent and don't get distracted, will always tell eventually.

You're placing far too much faith in one person, however talented, to upset the odds. This wasn't a spur of the moment, off the cuff stupidity move, it was a well planned, well executed attack that had allowed for many eventualities.

I like any war that Chuckle dies in.

Report Post Tip

LOL JONO.

well anywa,s Deimne? meh sounds like an intersting wars.

I've always been interested in past wars, like the only history i have interest to know more about.

Well it'd be cool if all this past wars, with victims or survivor from those past wars coming out in public to share their experience. that's be awesome

Report Post Tip

I think when Deimne shot Cryptic was simply a game defining moment.  Cryptic had just obliterated Sayyid, and we all knew how unstoppable Cryptic was.  No idea how Deimne did it.

History is written by the victors.

Always.
