deimne was prehaps the most powerful godfather ever. sadly, real life got in the way and he went IA during his godfather run.

This thread is about wars, my point was the Denime thing wasn't a war but a takedown for it the be classed as a war Denime would have needed to have been active for it even to have been considered as a war.

Everything you have said since points to the fact it wasn't a war but a well planned and executed takedown.

Apologies, you're right, it seemed to me that you were suggesting that had he been active, then the outcome would have changed, thus making it a war. I was refuting the fact that had he been active, then the outcome would have changed.

To answer your initial (not your middle) and most recent post; this wasn't a takedown, because the opposition was quickly active and responding to the attack. They even brought other cities into the conflict on their behalf and had many individuals still alive.

My previous points all demonstrate that his activity was neither here nor there to changing the outcome. Given that virtually everyone in the entire game was involved in the fighting, for either side, including two crews moving out of their current cities trying to get to Godfather, in addition to at least 4 other Godfathers and their crews, I'm not sure how it can be disputed it was a war?

What constitutes a war if not the fact that virtually everyone is fighting each other?

my personal favorite was when scipitiarourke and company brought the fight to aurora and las vegas. thanks to a little birdy aurora woke up and the war was on. turned into a pretty sweet battle till deimne got involved and took out the remaining members on auroras side.

I agree with Hawk. I was apart of that and it was an awesome battle. Lavvved it!

Oh JesseJames, you're not still bitter are you? Seriously dude, it was months ago. Don't hold it against me. Cryptic was arguably the luckiest account that the game has ever seen, with odds of 3/10,000 of surviving Lucretia's shot and succeeding the return shot first attempt.

On the topic of the Cryptic/Borgia war...I was involved in that war, and despite the fact of being on the losing side, it was quite a war. I was also one of the, if not the only, survivor from Borgia's side. Cryptic may have gotten lucky in the war, but it doesn't make it less of a victory for him.

I gotta say though, the shots on me after the war amused me, as I was a goomba and seemingly unkillable hahaha. Would have been toast after a while had Deimne not stepped in and dragged me to NY by the collar of my shirt :p
