Good morning. Hello everyone. 

Thomas smiles and takes a swig of his flask to clear his throat. 

As most of you have heard or seen. There have been quite some discussions going on in the streets. It is something I take a bit of pride in. As I feel a discussion always finds a way to bring constructive criticism to the forefront. And again, I repeat that Constructive Criticism. 

Thomas looks around and smiles. 

See, sometimes folks come out to these discussions with heavy chests/hearts and are just trying to vent. Which is fine as well. Perhaps its the death of our a relative that has them in their feelings. Absolutely, nothing wrong with that. We all are inherently human, with feelings. Regardless of our line of work. We all have loyalties, we all have someone we look up to. Whether that be our God Father, Crew Leader or even our sponsor. And a loss of such figure, usually does make us all feel a certain way. More times than not, if we loose one of the above. Odds are we will be joining them to the other side. However, when we loose a family member, our mother, father or even a sibling. Most times than not, we usually don't join them on the journey to the other side. And are left holding a heavy heart.

Now, usually an explanation helps with the closure process. Everyone likes reasoning to see through a loss or tough time. Its that reasoning, that allows us to see forward sometimes. Sometimes, even reasoning isn't enough. Because the loss is too great, and reasoning is overshadowed by emotion.

So going back to where I started here. Constructive Criticism. Is one of the underlying reasons for most discussions. In my most recent discussion, about a reflection of the current regime. Found here https://mafiareturns.com/comm/thread/1644562#240977514. I received a ton of mails from anonymous sources chiming in. Other times, I got mails basically saying that they would love to chime in. However, prioritized their well being and growth trajectory in this world. Over a voice in a discussion.

See, perhaps not everyone is brave like JackMezzo or Papua or in this particular case even Seymour. However, as the discussion progressed, one thing was clear. Anything can be said, anything can be spoken. As long as its done Respectfully. Cut out the emotion, look past the sorrow and articulate your thoughts with reasons. And you will be amazed what can be achieved. Sometimes in previous history of our world. When guns weren't allowed to be built. Reason, free speech and articulate criticism brought down such regimes. Do it properly and words can bring a regime to its knees. That obviously is in a extreme circumstance. However in our case. I don't think we are in that situation, where we as mobsters are limited. Hence, no need for such drastic measures.

However, I will say this. And this applies from leadership to mobsters. Its usually discussions that lead to positive changes in our world. Just yesterday I got word, that perhaps there was a change coming to our taxation system. That came from our previous discussion. When a anonymous mailer spoke about this issue. The person did it respectfully, made their due articulate points. And someone high up listened. I call that constructive criticism. A criticism made without the guise of emotion. Clear, thoughtful, articulate and progressive, in the most respectful way possible. As long as you can do that. You can say whatever you want.

Soo with that. Hopefully, I can get more folks to feel comfortable airing their thoughts. Yes there are things that shouldn't be said publicly. However, there is a space to air some thoughts publicly. As long as they are done in the right tone, manner and reasoning. Constructive Criticism is the name of the game.
