The Chuckle Knuckle - Issue II Started by: Chuckle on Jun 10, '11 17:55

Paws at Alabama with his crusty salt stained gloves.

A stupendous effort!

Especially the Mole Man story and survey. The rest, well its passable dirge; but the copy, as with the last one, will save a few pence on the crew HQ toilet rolls.

Bend over MrVengeance- I'll be sure to get the clinkers -Six- has missed.

I am delighted to see that all the money I have sent you is not being squandered on inflatable love toys and creams.

Congratulations. Another great issue.

I hate you sooooo much

How our ancestors were friends I will never know....

Report Post Tip

Gazman, what with your gingervitis, it is indeed a wonder to us all.

Report Post Tip

Crawford sure does suck on the guitar, why is he so obsessed with it? Even so, this is great!

Hits Chuckle on the back of the head with a blunt spoon

This will have to do as stalking enough for the moment, but fear not I'll be coming to liberate that $1 from Alabama in your wallet soon enough my friend!

Hits you with the spoon again and continues following you.

A great read once again though and I shall endeavor to disappoint the DWL for some time to come.

Very entertaining issue, Mr. Chuckle!

Keep up the good work!

Tells his accountant to transform another bit of sponsor money

Your accountant makes note that $666 has been wired to Chuckle from your account.

Very good read, Mr Chuckle. Take this box of cigars as a gift for this work.

Joey hands over the box of finest Montecristo Presidentes.

Report Post Tip

Ah, another fine edition, I thoroughly enjoyed that read.

So much so, I've now read it twice, well had to actually, there are grease stains and gravy from my fish and chips on it.

Stuffs the chip poke wrapper in the bin and contemplates asking when the next edition will be from Capo Chuckle.

Report Post Tip

A decent read. You'll never get anyone but a complete idiot to knock over a business though.

Report Post Tip

I would just like to thank all of you guys who read this for your continued support and kind messages both here or in my inbox.

Unfortunately, this will be the last incarnation of the paper for the foreseeable future.

I hope you have enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed producing it.

No fair chuckle! How am I supposed to judge my success now? My bloodline always knew they had made the big time when they got a mention in one of your ancestors papers...

Report Post Tip

See what happens when Clarence doesn't get a mention?

STOP THE PRESSES!

In all seriousness, that's an outrage, a fine paper and very much in good natured spirits and humour. Shame it's the last edition as so much work goes into it. I demand an enquiry!

Report Post Tip

I must second old Klasky's enquiry request. A fine read this has been, much like your ancestors attempts at a newspaper. Why pray tell must it stop?

Could it be? LoveGun's heart pounded in her chest as she came up to a red light. She noticed a boy selling some sort of paper from the curb. The Crunkle? LoveGun veered her car across two lanes of traffic, cutting a few people off and almost running over grandma in the process. She snapped her fingers at the boy and snatched a paper out of his hands. LoveGun then violently threw some spare change at his face before hitting the gas, ignoring the still red light and entering the intersection, straight through off into the sunset.

Later, LoveGun was tucked away in her office reading the paper. When she finished she balled it up into a mess and threw it in the trash can with a huff.

"Something wrong LoveGun?"

Crawford's voice carried from his office across the hall into hers.

Censorship!

LoveGun replied angrily.

Don' be gettin' me wrong Crawford, I love the written words of Buckle and his reporters in tights just as much as the next guy. But what be this? I paid good money, yes I actually be payin' money for it this time and I should be receivin' a whole paper. One hundred percent, not eighty. I mean, I be understandin', I'd rather not have Mr. Canuckle become a human speed bump. But don' people know that any publicity is good publicity?

LoveGun sighed.

The only thing that be savin' this issue, in my wonderful opinion, would be Buckles growing attraction towards ya. Love be in th' air.

She singsonged and picked the paper out of the trash, smoothing it's wrinkled pages out. LoveGun would keep it, it was still better than any other publication that was available.

P.S. Crawford, my horoscope wasn't even good. That fact alone be givin' me the right to say tha' th' first paper be mighty finer then this one. Maybe a third issue be turnin' things around.

LoveGun sat down and grumbled.

Report Post Tip

Fucking tremendous effort as ever and once again my sides hurt from laughing so much. Especially at that Clouseau fellow. What a chuckle, Capo Chuckle.

Seriously looking forward to the next installment!

Report Post Tip

A disgrace and severe disappointment to many of us that this will be the last issue.

I'd like to ask Chuckle for an insight in his decision if I might be so bold, please tell me this isn't censorship gone mad, with just about the only witty and impartial journal of current affairs destined to be mothballed once again :/

Report Post Tip

All I have to say......is I love this newspaper.
