We all got here somehow. What lead you to this page reading these words from this screen. I was playing a game that was glitchy and could not take it anymore. I remember and old game on my palm pilot called "Drug Dealer" and was looking for it. Found this game and it is much more expansive! Looks like I will be spending LOTS of pointless hours playing it. 

Many moons ago at a birthday party for a mutual friend, herbert pulled up the game on Tyler's family computer and showed a few of us. I think we all made an account that night and took turns clicking, but to my knowledge only he and I every really played the game.

I watched my ex play it from time to time and thought it looked interesting, until I one day decided to make an account on here and see if he'd recognize me (... I think it took a while before he actually did though). And of course I decided to stick around afterwards, so here I am today! Cant believe I've spent so much time on this game :D

Why I'm here now :P 
I just finished work, Dark Future (Minds) is no more. 
This is where friends of mine play, this is the real reason I'm here. :D

I guess I was in middle school, and some of my friends had me join a site called mafia.org.. but then it crashed, and another game came into existence that filled that void called mafiareturns.com... so I came here... and over a decade later.. here I am writing for a fucking single hustle point.

Wow I have been playing MR a long time now.  I was playing another mafia game with a friend and he invited me to this one.  At first I thought it was way to much clicking but soon adjusted and of course it became my most favorite game. 

I can't imagine what the hell my mind was thinking 11 years ago but I do know that there were a few text based games that I was playing like bloodreign and outwar.  I am gen X, text based was where it was at for a loooooong time!  Like duhh  doyeeee

I've always played a game of some sort - usually PC, not console and most often an MMORPG or similar. At the time of finding MR, I had recently been playing browser games like Ikariam and Evony. I'd grown bored of them and had remembered a Mafia game I played years ago (probably around 2001-2003 ish) with my uncle when I was a young. I don't remember much about it, but I remember it had similar profile edit features to what we have here on MR but (I think!) it had a turqoise/aqua blue background. I was pretty young so that's basically all I remember, but I was on the search for that game when I came across MR and the rest is history.

I don't suppose anyone recognises that extremely vague description of a game, do they? I'd like to say it was similar to MR but with a turqoise/aqua blue background but that's probably me just making up false memories at this point. I remember the background accurately though, for sure.

I played games like this before. There was a game called "Murder city" that was like this, back in the day. It was fun and I met alot of cool people. Everyone knew each others name and we fought like lions. You couldnt be killed like here, but you could have your gang destroyed. You had to train your skills in different properties, if that sounds familiar to anyone. Idk, thats how I came to find this game, for a bit of nostalgia.

I think I was looking to play something for a break from World of Warcraft at the time and I must have found MR by searching or something. Was never meant to actually put any time in this game but 15478 hours in MR later, here I am posting on an outside forum to complete a daily task.

Today I woke up early. 

I logged into this game. 

In an assignment 
I had to post a well. 

That's why I'm here now :P
