Kanzi once again roams the streets of America, starts talking to the common folk from around the area, and over hears some conversations about Loyalty the conversation he had heard around the streets or america was all about how someone can buy loyalty and how much does that loyalty cost, even more to the point how far does that Loyalty stretch.

This gives kanzi and Idea, he heads to the local store and grabs some leaflets to do a poll with the people from the streets, on this leaflet it reads

Loyalty What does it cost and how can the Current leaders gain yours

Now I do not want this to just be a tick box exercise I want actual opinions

Can a Crew Leader you have never worked with before Gain your loyalty and how do they do that?

Is it money is it Respect, Is it communication, Is it involvement in wars/Take-downs  

kanzi gets to work and starts handing out the leaflets to everyone he can see roaming the streets

As he hands the leaflet to the street folk he points to a box 

"Please inserts your leaflet here, I look forward to hearing from all of you"

Kanzi goes back into hiding until the time comes to read what has been put in the Box 

While Bryan walks home late one evening he steps on a couple pieces of paper on the ground. Curious to see who's litter may be scattered he soon realizes it's a questionnaire about loyalty. He recalls his late father's story over this matter.

Ya'see Bryan's father was also an up an coming Mafioso in Detroit. In his younger years, his father worked for a man know only as 'Shadow' and was loyal to him for good reason. "Shadow took care of all of us" Bryan thought to himself reminiscing of an uncle like figure. But when Shadow met his untimely death, Bryan's father, who went by J, had no where to work, no protection, and even though Shadow left a great deal of money to for him, J needed an in of he was to continue his goal of being made. 

That's where Peter comes in. J tried doing solo work but as we all know, you're stepping on toes when you do that. He found himself between a bullet and an intchy trigger finger when Peter stepped in and... Put a stop to it. From that point on his loyalty would lie there. It's not as if he forgot about Shadow, but Shadow was dead, and if he wanted to survive he needed to join up with a crew, and Peter was the perfect fit. 

Bryan began jotting on the back of the leaflet his father's story, finishing with this line. "Peter didn't buy my father's loyalty, but loyalty can be earned pretty fast when you show you deserve it."

kanzi takes a read through the first questionnaire that had been filled out and sees that Bryan's father's idea of loyal may not be what many other may believe.

you see it sounds like when Shadow was kill your father looked for another family, some might say that loyalty means that he would have fought for his crew leader Shadow even if that meant he would go down with the ship as it may

I mean no disrespect with my thoughts here I am just think out aloud, please if you wish to add to this my ears are always open 

Bryan laid in bed wishing he could've written more but alas there was just not enough paper in the world to tell his family's tale. He recalled the night Shadow died and how his father snapped. "I should've been there!" J snipped at Bryan's mother, who was just happy he was alive. "If only Shadow would've let me in, if only I had earned his trust faster, this is my fault, I should've protected him like he always did us." The guilt weighted heavy on J's shoulders and Bryan, even at a young age could tell, there was nothing his dad could do.

As Bryan lay in bed he remembered his dad's journal's. "This is it" he thought to himself. "Maybe if I pop by Kanzi's box I can speak with them directly" He then began reading...

"The days after we're rough" Bryan thought to himself. "I guess even I thought he met Peter right away." He continued reading, slowly closing his eyes to a well earned rest. After all, Gandleton's Gadgets© opens in only a couple days...

Kanzi takes into consideration Bryan's thoughts, and wanted to add something to what he previously mentioned, 

I Also believe you can only be as loyal to your leader as they are to you, and this comes down slot to trust, if your Leader does not trust you and does not give you the position of Made man, are you really a family member and should you remain loyal to your Leader through thick and thin?

Kanzi gets on with with his daily earning duties for his Leader and hopes ymto hear more from the people very soon
