First Executive Proclamation of The Order of The Flying Piranha

I. IN a time of great blood and warfare, it is found that ALL former applicants, members, and knights of The Order of The Flying Piranha, henceforth referred to as 'The Order' within this document, who are deceased or will be decreased, transfer their status within The Order to their next of kin. 

      1a) The case of alter-egos has been previously settled in this matter: actions undertaken for the betterment of The Order by one ego will be equally applied to its consequent alter-ego, and vice versa.

II. IN the event an adventure is interrupted by great blood and warfare, or minimal blood and warfare to the degree at which it affects operations of The Order, the adventure is put on temporary hold. This temporary hold can last an indeterminate amount of time until a critical mass of interested, willing, and participating individuals can be reached and established. These individuals can come as the next of kin of former applicants, members, and knights of The Order; OR, these individuals can be new applicants, members, and knights of The Order as the commissioner of the adventure sees fit.

III. IT is thus therefore recognized that The Order will be re-opening applications to its first journeyman adventure, and that the invitation-only event will be held in a forthcoming and yet undisclosed period of time after which the fore-mentioned critical mass is reached.

IV. UPON the highly probable death of its second inaugural commissioner, The Order will hold a papers-written-with-names-drawn-from-a-hat-election for the third inaugural commissioner of The Order. This occasion will be undertaken at the event, AND ONLY AT THE EVENT, of the death of the second commissioner OR the commissioner's growth of frustration with the proceedings of their individual career within The Order whereupon they find it more productive to retire from The Order rather than continue their stead as commissioner. 

V. THEREFORE, it is found this First Executive Proclamation of The Order of The Flying Piranha is put into effect at this time, 21:00 hours, July 07. 

      5a) If, in the event of this message being lost and discarded to the bowling alleys gutter-like annals of time, please find this message void OR whereupon the discovery of this proclamation is established by an applicant, member, or knight of The Order, it is hereby mandated that this proclamation is placed into The Order of The Flying Piranha's archives, buried inside a deep vault under a looming and intimidating structure. This area must be accessible by approximately seven man hours' worth of labor via digging by hand or with the usage of proper machinery, and this vault must similarly be indestructible barring all of the following circumstances:

So, I am a little confused.

Are you setting up an "underground" group?  Or is this more like a book club?

I would err towards the latter as the best way to set up an underground group would be to make sure that it is exactly that; an underground (secret) group.  By splashing it all over the streets it is nothing more than a book club, possibly knitting or crochet.........

Hi there buddy. Is it okay if I call you buddy? I'd like to refer you to an archived transcript of a conversation I had with fellow streets residents a few days ago. You can find that here, in my squire Mark's backpack. 

I will address your question by noting that book clubs are for people who want to read books and talk about them. Knitting and crochet clubs are likely for knitting and crochet, respectively. Your confusion, as it may be, is likely due to our organizational title's ambiguity. That's fine. By no means is The Order of The Flying Piranha an "underground" group by means of hiding and/or being discreet.

The Order of The Flying Piranha is proud to be what it is, and we will not default to hide things that we accomplish. However, as with any organization, there is certain proprietary information that will not be released to the public. Trade secrets, you can imagine. Knitting clubs do not have trade secrets. Nor do book clubs.
